My Love Debts Are Everywhere! - Chapter 639
Chapter 639: Eyes of Chaos
In the Codex of Noctis, Demon Emperor Amon Crimson recorded countless insights for him to learn from.
Most of its contents focus on techniques for controlling the power of chaos—refining it to become more efficient and manageable.
However, Amon Crimson also documented several powerful combat techniques, including abilities that only those who have truly mastered chaos power can wield.
One such ability is the Eyes of Chaos—a power both terrifying and immensely potent.
Its user can teleport within seconds, move objects within their field of vision, and perform much more.
Activating this ability, however, is extremely difficult and cannot be mastered in just a day or two.
Leon estimates it will take him at least a year or two to fully awaken its power.
But that was only his estimate. About four days ago, he managed to activate it—though only in one eye, and far from perfect.
“Eyes of Chaos, huh?” The Evil God’s consciousness narrowed its gaze at Leon’s right eye, now pitch-black with a crescent-shaped pupil.
Although he existed only as a fragment of consciousness, not his original body, he still retained fragments of his former self’s memories before being sealed within the World Tree.
Among all of Amon Crimson’s abilities, the Eyes of Chaos was the most terrifying—and the most troublesome.
Its wielder could shift between locations with such blinding speed that even his original body once struggled to keep up with it.
Although Leon’s Eyes of Chaos were far from perfected, he didn’t dare to act recklessly.
But just as the Evil God’s consciousness grew distracted, Leon suddenly vanished from sight—then reappeared right in front of him.
He raised the Holy Sword of Zenith high and brought it down in a clean arc.
*Swish!*
The slash was so fast that the Evil God’s consciousness barely had time to tilt his body to the right.
Even so, the blade tore through him—from shoulder to stomach—leaving a deep gash.
He was flung backward, clutching the deep wound that ran from his shoulder to his stomach.
“His movements are too fast,” he muttered in disbelief.
His danger sense hadn’t even had time to react—leaving him wide open.
He quickly healed the injury, but then something terrifying happened.
Leon appeared behind him like a sudden gust of wind and drove the Holy Sword of Zenith straight into his stomach.
“What!?” The Evil God’s consciousness froze, stunned with disbelief.
Before he could process what had just happened, holy power surged from Leon’s body, engulfing him completely.
“Arghhh!” the Evil God’s consciousness screamed in agony.
Under the overwhelming pressure of the holy power, his body began to melt into black liquid, dripping downward in chunks.
*Boom!*
A burst of dark power suddenly exploded from his dissolving form, blasting Leon back hundreds of meters.
Twisting mid-air, Leon quickly regained his balance and landed gracefully.

Clicking his tongue in annoyance, he stared at the Evil God’s consciousness—now gasping, his body half-destroyed.
“Damn it! That was close! If I’d been just a little faster, I could’ve destroyed his body,” Leon cursed in frustration.
Although Miranda’s first method seemed illogical, he was determined to try it—repeatedly smashing the Evil God’s conscious form until it was utterly destroyed.
Weakening the consciousness would make it easier for Miranda to seal him away later.
As he had expected, it was no simple task. The Evil God’s consciousness proved incredibly resilient.
“Leon Kruger!” the Evil God’s consciousness roared.
His voice triggered a storm of destructive energy in every direction.
In an instant, his wounds closed, and his body regenerated completely.
He glared at Leon with burning hatred, then clenched his fist and thrust it forward.
*Buzz!*
A giant black fist materialized in midair and came crashing down toward Leon.
“Hero Technique: Light Slash!”
Leon swung the Holy Sword of Zenith in a vertical arc, its blade glowing with holy power.
*Whoosh!*
A colossal slash of holy energy collided with the dark fist.
The impact triggered a violent explosion that shook the battlefield.
Without hesitation, Leon swung his sword to the side and charged straight toward the Evil God’s consciousness.
But the Evil God didn’t stand still. He clenched his left fist and lunged at Leon with equal fury.
*Bang! Bang! Bang!*
They clashed fiercely, their bodies erupting into bursts of white and black light that collided violently.
Each impact unleashed devastating shockwaves, rippling out in all directions.
Fortunately, no one was within an eight hundred meter radius—otherwise, the shockwaves would have blasted them away.
“Hero Technique: Five Dragon Steps!”
Leon spun his body horizontally and swung his blade, slicing through the Evil God’s consciousness’ left arm.
“Second Step—”
But before he could follow up, an invisible force slammed into him, sending him flying.
He rocketed downward, tumbling across the sand.
His face was covered in sand, and his appearance was a mess. But he didn’t stay still—the Evil God’s consciousness was already lunging toward him.
*Boom!*
He leapt away just in time as the Evil God’s body crashed into the spot where he had stood.
The two continued their deadly chase. Using his Eyes of Chaos, Leon searched for an opening in the enemy’s defense.
“Gotcha!”
He twisted mid-air, changed direction sharply, and darted toward the Evil God with the Holy Sword of Zenith held sideways.
“Second Step!”
With lightning speed, his slash cut through the Evil God’s waist, splitting his body in two.
But, just as before, before he could strike a third blow, the mysterious power returned—hurling him hundreds of meters away.
“Damn… What the hell was that?” Leon muttered under his breath, gasping for air.
“It’s the power of space, Master,” Miranda’s voice echoed in his mind.
“The power of space?” Leon was stunned. “You mean… the ability to manipulate space?”
“Yes, exactly,” Miranda said. “Those who reach the level of a godlike Evil God wield the power of laws—the ultimate force. As far as I know, this Evil God controls both space and darkness, making him incredibly powerful and nearly unstoppable.”
Leon narrowed his eyes and gave a small nod. “I understand. Thanks for explaining.”
“You’re welcome, Master. By the way, I’m almost done preparing. Now, lure him two hundred meters to your right. When he gets close, I’ll activate it.”
“Alright. Leave it to me,” Leon said firmly.
He rose to his feet and locked his gaze on the Evil God’s consciousness hovering in the sky.
Holy power surged from Leon’s body as he sped forward.
*Boom!*
They collided again, igniting another fierce battle.
Leon delivered a powerful kick to the Evil God’s stomach, sending his body bouncing backward.
But the Evil God’s consciousness quickly regained balance mid-air and lunged back at Leon.
Clenching his right fist, he slammed it toward the right side of Leon’s face.
Thanks to the Eyes of Chaos, Leon anticipated the attack with ease.
He dodged smoothly, twisted his body, and countered with a sideways kick to the enemy’s waist.
*Bang!*
The strike sent the Evil God’s consciousness flying hundreds of meters.
Leon wasted no time.
He hurled the Holy Sword of Zenith at him with incredible speed.
The Evil God’s consciousness twisted swiftly, and he dodged the blade.
But then, a smile crept onto Leon’s lips.
*Tzrrkk!*
His body vanished, instantly swapping places with the flying sword.
“What!?” The Evil God’s consciousness gasped in shock.
Before he could react, Leon slammed hard into his back.
The Evil God’s body bounced far away—and this time, Leon didn’t give chase.
Instead, he shouted, “Miranda, now!”
