Chapter 180: I’m sorry I’m late Chapter 180: I’m sorry I’m late Chapter 180 The students when they had received the notification of a boost, were also now attacking with more vigour but they knew at the back of their minds that they wouldn’t last long against the beast.

But they still gave it their all against the beast.

The students that received the notification, were Kate, Peter and Emily.

Receiving the notification, they dashed forward with Peter at the fore front as he swung his axe towards the beast who lifted its hands to block the hit.

And was about to hit Peter away with its other hand but Kate had quickly come in with a heavy kick to the Gorrila’s hand causing it to move to the side.

“I haven’t been using my martial arts skill for a long time because I have been trying to sharpen my archery skills causing my martial arts skill to take a decline.” Kate said as she pushed off again and delivered a powerful knee kick to the Gorrila’s stomach that only made it skid.

“But thanks to you, I will have a chance to use my skills against you.” Kate said as she quickly ducked avoiding a punch from the Gorrila.

With the boost active, Kate, Peter and Emily’s powers had increased by 5 percent making them a little powerful while striking the beasts strongly with all they got.

Seeing them fighting strongly, the others that hadn’t received the notification were now confused how this was going on.

“How do they have this amount of power all of a sudden?” Jack asked as he was huffing after that huge strike he delivered to the Gorrila’s head.

“I don’t know.

But as long as it will help us take this beast down and protect Aurora Academy, it will be all worth it.” Sophia said as she gripped her sword tighter.

“So come on, let’s go!” Sophia shouted as she was now running towards the Gorrila.

With the humans holding it back, the Gorrila got angry and was about to smash the ground again when a sword intercepted it.

“Not again dude.” Jack said as he lifted the Gorrila’s hand using his sword then he pushed the hands back with all his strength causing the Gorrila to skid back a few inches.

Sophia had quickly come in from behind with a roundhouse kick towards the Gorrila’s body that sent it skidding towards Harry’s way.

Harry had been waiting for the beast patiently as he held his weapon tighter and the finally, Harry swung his sword and wacked the Gorrila back with all the strength he could muster and in the process, his sword shattered into a thousand pieces while the Gorrila flew back and crashed into the ground.

“Damn!

This is bad.” Harry said as he looked around looking for any weapon he could use as the beast was now slowly standing up.

“Here!” Kate shouted as she tossed the sword she had picked up earlier towards Harry who quickly jumped up and grabbed it.

Currently, Harry, Peter, Sophia, Kate, Emily and Jack surrounded the beast as they were looking for where they would attack it.

And then, at once they dashed towards the beast together.

Kate swung her leg lightning fast towards the beast and it landed on its side creating a resounding loud bang then Peter came in with a strike to the beast’s head with his axes.

But the Gorrila lifted up its hand and blocked the strike then the second one grabbed Sophia’s leg that was heading for its face.

With a flick, the Gorrila flung Sophia away sending her crashing into Harry.

Then Jack came in with a sword strike to its legs trying to cut it off but it only created a flesh wound.

Before it had kicked Jack away.

Then finally, Emily jumped in with her fists out towards the beast’s face but her hands were grabbed before she was slammed forcefully into the ground.

“Damn!

Not again.” Emily cursed as she coughed out blood violently.

“Where even is Jake and Alex?” Sophia asked angrily as everyone regrouped.

Looking around, they could see Alex fighting against the advanced tier beasts while he was riddled with injuries from head to toe.

Alex was currently in the midst of the killing them one at a time.

Some of the soldiers had all fell back leaving a token of 50 soldiers facing off against 85 advanced tier beasts.

Alex dodged an acid skillfully but some of it got on his hands burning him slightly.

“Damn!

I think it’s better to abandon this academy right now.” Alex said in frustration as he wacked an Earthshaker back.

An Earthshaker jumped towards him but he quickly shot out an invisible Qi spear towards its head killing it instantly.

“And I’m running out of Qi rapidly.

I don’t know what to do.” Alex said as he sliced a mosswovern’s head off cleanly.

“Where the heck even is Jake right now?” Alex asked in frustration as he was stabbed in the leg by the Earthshaker before it manipulated the Earth and moved away.

The soldiers that were fighting, were trying their best to hold on and with the energy coursing through them, they were holding up nicely and they even had hope that they could win this battle not until they received a notification that horrified them.

{Skill guild overdrive has ended.} All the members of the Fang hunters received this notification at once and immediately, the energy they could feel coursing through them left them at once.

And now, they were having a hard time handling the beasts.

One of the soldiers went after the mosswovern but he was melted by the acid immediately.

All the soldiers were starting to drop down rapidly like flies and they were now feeling despair as they could see their fellow comrades dying.

“What are we going to do now?” A soldier shouted.

“This is so hopeless.” “Yes, where even is the werewolf slayer?

I joined the Fang hunters because the werewolf slayer promised to protect us and now, he is no where to be seen.” “Where is the werewolf slayer?” A soldier asked and right on cue, they could feel immense amount of energy building behind them.

And in less than a second, everybody including the soldiers and beasts felt a huge shockwave erupt in front of them that threw the beasts off their balance while the humans managed to stand their ground.

That was when coming from behind them, was a man with a black mask on his face while he was putting on a robe and he held a sword in his hand while wearing his gold and brown armour.
