My Werewolf System - Chapter 1181
Chapter 1181: Your Smell Is Not Like Us Chapter 1181: Your Smell Is Not Like Us Currently, Kai was heading to the city of Notsburg.
It was around a 2-hour drive at this time of night because there was quite a bit of traffic, but he wanted to get rid of the nagging problem he could feel on the back of his mind for some time.
The fact that he wasn”™t able to get in direct contact with Midwak.
There were Howler members that were in Notsburg that weren”™t ex-members of the Scatterburgs or those close to Midwak.
Kai would use the members of the Howlers to keep an eye not just on Midwak but the overall situation.
Kai had a network of those he was close to, in every city that had a connection with the Howlers.
This way, if something like what had occurred with the Phoenix gang was ever to happen again, Kai would be on top of the situation.
What was annoying Kai was that these contacts had stated that Midwak was still there.
That they had spoken to him and passed on his message, so if that was the case, then why was he ignoring Kai?
It was quite usual for Midwak to do his own thing, but it just felt like with everything going on, that this time it was a little different.
“˜Typical,”™ Kai thought as he looked at his phone and started to rub the side of his temple.
He was in the car and had only just reached Notsburg when he was reading all of the current messages to do with the current situation that was happening in Slough.
“˜When I leave, something like this happens, but the group have gotten through plenty of things”¦and I”™m sure they have no idea just how strong Gary is.”™
Kai wanted to turn back, but he almost felt like the timing of it all was too good.
It even made him wonder if it was done purposefully to not let him enter Notsburg.
So he had to get rid of that feeling and instead leave it up to the others by sending them an encouraging message.
[Just don”™t kill them all, we need to find out why they attacked us.] Kai sent in the group chat.
Getting out of the vehicle, Kai had reached the casino.
Its bright lights were shining on the outside, several vehicles were parked and lined up, and there was a queue for people to enter from the outside.
Walking up past the others, Kai went up the staircase, and he noticed several glances from those that were waiting.
Until a bald-headed man in a white suit called out on it.
“Hey, this place doesn”™t let kids in, and you certainly can”™t barge your way up to the front.”
Kai turned and smiled at the man as he continued to make his way to the top.
When he reached there, the guards right at the front bowed down to greet him.
“Welcome, sir!” The men said.
“The bald-headed man, make sure he”™s treated extra nicely when he”™s inside for me,” Kai said, tapping his shoulder.
The woman by his side for the night was a little embarrassed at the way the man had acted and stepped a little away.
“Must be the owner”™s son or something,” the man mumbled.
As Kai entered the scene, he was greeted by several of the guards inside.
He hadn”™t made them aware that he was going to come.
He needed it to be a surprise meeting in order to find out the truth, but he knew those inside.
“Take me up to see Midwak”¦I need to speak with him,” Kai stated.

“Certainly, sir.” Two men said as they escorted him through the casino and through to the other floors.
So far, from what Kai had observed, everything was working normally.
Nothing was destroyed, there were no signs of fighting, and even the guards there seemed to be no change even with his surprise visit.
“˜Was I wrong about this?
If I was, I should head back to help out the others as soon as possible.
I might just be overthinking things these days,”™ Kai thought.
Finally, he had reached the large, almost golden doors.
The two men pulled them to the side, and Kai stepped in.
When he did, he could see on the end of the red flooring, at the desk, that Midwak, in his Hawaiian shirt, was sitting down, with a big smile.
“Oh, I didn”™t expect to have any visitors,” Midwak said.
Kai quickly turned around and closed the door behind him.
Before he turned back to look at Midwak, he had his own questions to ask.
“Where are Bardo and Bardolph, they are always by your side, at least the last time I visited,” Kai asked.
“Oh, them two, they are just off for the day.
This place practically runs itself, you know we don”™t have to do anything unless problems come up, so I decided to take it easy,” Midwak answered.
Finally, Kai turned around and started to walk toward Midwak.
“Then I need you to answer one more question”¦” Kai started to transform, his body turned into its wolf form, and he rushed right to the other side, he broke through the desk and landed right on the table.
As he leapt onto Midwak, his body had changed back to its human self, and he had his hand wrapped around Midwak”™s throat.
“Tell me, who are you, you”™re not Midwak, and how the heck do you look like him!” Kai shouted.
The Midwak that was being held right up against the wall started to look nervous.
“How did you know”¦my disguise, it was perfect!” The man”™s face changed into a young man, who looked just like a plain face one would see on the street.
It was like a mask had been taken off from the man but it merged right in front of him like a magic spell.
“It”™s your smell, you”™re not like us, you”™re not a Werewolf, so where is Midwak!” Kai shouted.
