Chapter 115: If You Want To Survive, Pick Up Your Weapons And Fight For Your Life
Before the other robbers could react, Huang Qian killed him with a headshot.
Thud!
Hearing the sound of the robbers falling to the ground, Long Yu and the others also looked toward the other end of the corridor. When they saw two robbers dying with a hole in their heads, they knew it was Huang Qian who killed them.
The three of them looked around, and the sight of carnage in front of them showed the brutality of the robbers. It won’t be easy to deal with these robbers tonight.
Before leaving the corridor, Long Yu gestured to Huang Qian with his hands through the windows, and then Huang Qian responded by turning the flashlight on and off twice.
Seeing Long Yu and others separated, Yao Ran asked, “What did Long Yu just say to you?”
“He said they were going to separate and asked us to cover them.” Huang Qian answered without thinking.
Hearing this, Yao Ran’s eyes flickered for a second, and she became sure that her guess was correct. She saw the hand gestures they used just now in her previous lives, which were used only by the military.
Based on how fluent they are when using hand gestures, Long Yu and his friends should be from the military or at least have connections with the military.
After thinking about it for a moment, Yao Ran turned her attention back to the robbers again.
More than a hundred robbers were coming to the Ling Yuan apartment complex tonight. They were divided into small teams, and each team was responsible for a building.
The Ling Yuan apartment complex has ten buildings. But tonight, the robbers attacked only Building 1 to Building 5.
It took the five of them two hours to kill all the robbers who were coming tonight. When Huang Qian hit the last robber in the head, they finally relaxed and breathed a sigh of relief.
After packing up the sniper rifles, Huang Qian and Yao Ran went downstairs to meet Long Yu and others.
When Long Yu, Shi Xuan, and Jia Xiang came back, their protective clothing was covered by more blood. However, before Yao Ran could ask if they were injured, a woman suddenly rushed over with a metal rolling pin.
She blocked their way to the stairs, stood in the middle of the corridor, and shouted crazily, “You all have weapons! Why didn’t you come out earlier?”
She covered her face and fell to the dirty floor, sobbing and gasping, “If you… If you came earlier, my husband would still be alive!”
Hearing this, Yao Ran’s eyes turned cold. Seeing that the woman suddenly rushed over and wanted to hit Long Yu with a rolling pin, she kicked the woman hard in the stomach.
“Ah!”
Thud!
Watching the woman fall to the ground and clutching her stomach, Yao Ran sneered, “You blame us for not coming out to save your husband. What about you? What were you doing when they killed your husband?”
“You dared to come out and attack us with a rolling pin. Why don’t you dare to do this to the robber?”
“Do you think we will let you beat us? Have you forgotten that I once said that I have no morals and no one can morally kidnap me?”
When Yao Ran asked her, the woman was stunned for a moment and then burst into tears. She cried, beat her chest, and repeatedly called her husband’s name in despair.
Yao Ran ignored the woman and looked at the residents peeking from their homes.
She stared at them one by one with cold eyes and said slowly, “Those who died tonight can only blame their weakness. None of us will be responsible for your lives. This is the end of the world. If you want to survive, pick up your weapons and fight for your life.”
After saying that, Yao Ran left with the others and returned to the 20th floor.
Tonight is exceptionally long for the Ling Yuan apartment complex’s residents.
Returning to her apartment, Yao Ran entered her space. She took a long shower and washed the protective clothing before leaving. Lying on the soft bed, Yao Ran closed her eyes and quickly fell asleep.
Unlike the quiet 20th floor, the crying in Buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 did not stop all night.

The next day, Yao Ran slept until she woke up naturally. After washing up, she opened the curtains to check what was going on outside.
Seeing that the number of poisonous moths had decreased, Yao Ran pulled down the curtain and went to the kitchen to make something to eat.
Wanting to eat something light and fresh today, Yao Ran made a bowl of spinach salad with hot bacon jam, crispy tuna rolls, and a cup of watermelon juice. She then ate while watching farming tutorial videos.
After brunch, she started training and spent the day filling empty buckets in her space and speeding up the growth of plants in the farmland.
A few hours later, Yao Ran heard a commotion coming from downstairs. Out of curiosity, she took out her binoculars and went to the balcony to check.
Seeing that it was Long Yu and the others who came back, Yao Ran zoomed in to take a closer look. She raised her eyebrows slightly when she saw the big thing covered in tarp on the motorboat.
Seeing them parking the motorboat, Yao Ran put on her coat and protective clothing and went downstairs. She knew something was wrong when she saw them moving the things wrapped tightly with tarps.
Everyone else looked tired except for Long Yu. Yao Ran looked at them and saw Deng Qiqi, who was pale and had tears on her face.
As she approached, Yao Ran smelled the thick scent of blood from their body. She didn’t ask anything and helped them move the large bundles to the 20th floor while Long Yu left to hide his motorboat.
As they climbed the stairs, Huang Zhihui stumbled and almost fell. Yao Ran couldn’t free her hands and could only use her body to block Huang Zhihui’s fall.
