In the dining room, Yao Ran saw Chen Zizhen’s men eating and drinking. When they noticed her arrival, they quickly put down their meat buns and wiped the oil from their lips.

Smiling, she said, “You can finish your meal first. I’m just here to tell you to go to the backyard after you finish eating to transport the supplies.”

After ensuring that no gaps were left in the windows, doors, or ventilation, the three of them went to the third floor. Standing by the floor-to-ceiling windows, they watched a massive shadow form a gigantic wall and move toward the Juncheng Military Base.

Clenching her fists, Yao Ran silently watched the oncoming sandstorm.

A few minutes later, it hit the base. As the sandstorm arrived, the wind that carried the sand struck the glass windows, producing a harsh scratching sound.

Watching the sand particles batter the glass windows, Long Yu frowned and said, “The wind is too strong. We need to fortify the windows and doors.”

Yao Ran nodded in agreement. “I have tempered glass and metal doors in my space. They should be enough to fortify this villa.”

Hearing this, Shi Xuan gave her a thumbs-up. Seeing the wind grow fiercer, Long Yu urged, “Let’s hurry and install them.”
