Whilst pondering, Xiao Lizi noticed Feng Ran pointed at a certain direction.

She failed to adjust her expression on time and Zhou Gui saw her, frowned a little but the fire in his belly overweighs his displeasure at the moment. “What are you mumbling before?”

Xiao Lizi couldn’t behave like before in front of her benefactor.

Even though Zhou Gui is drunk, he was very sensitive and he wouldn’t tolerate his woman looking at other men otherwise her sponsorship might be cut off. “Nothing, I thought I saw someone familiar but it turns out I was mistaken.”

Nanzhi wiped the table in the living room.

She placed the dual pot that can cook two types of soups, one spicy and the other is not at the same time before placing the trays full of thinly sliced wagyu beef, bean sprouts, glass noodles, bamboo shoots, enoki mushrooms, shrimps, and scallops.

“Is there something you don’t like, you can tell me.” Nanzhi looked at the little boy while waiting for the soup base to infuse well.

Lin Yicheng glanced at the vegetables on the trays. He didn’t like vegetables because they were bitter but his uncle had said before that adults like kids who eat their vegies therefore he shook his head telling Nanzhi, “I’m not picky. I can eat anything.”

Then, a light chuckle came from Lin Weihao.

Li Yicheng pouted and lowered his head as he was slightly embarrassed at his uncle’s reaction but he was also thankful that his uncle didn’t expose his lie.

On the side, Nanzhi watched as the brief exchange between the two and was surprised at Lin Weihao’s changing his demeanor.

She didn’t know that he has this side of him.

Gurgling sounds came from the hotpot.

The room was filled with enticing room.

Nanzhi consciously looked at how Lin Weihao ate. It was only peeling shrimps but the way he’s using his hands elegantly made it seem like she’s watching art.

Suddenly, the perfectly peeled shrimps were placed in her bowl.

“Oh, thank you, Mr. Lin.” Nanzhi was stunned and returned Weihao’s gesture with the same courtesy. She never expected for him to personally peel her shrimps.

She also put cook vegetables and the scallop meats in his bowl.

Nanzhi was unaware that Lin Weihao was someone who doesn’t want other people’s chopsticks touching his food otherwise she would not have done it.

With a deep gaze cast on her, Lin Weihao ate them without hesitation. The moment he took a bite, his eyes flickered a bit.

Lin Yincheng was worried that his uncle would scold or reject his sister’s food but after watching him eat, he returned to his food.

Nanzhi had served the vegetables from her virtual farm. If Lin Weihao had asked where she obtained the vegetables, she already had an excuse and with the disaster coming, he wouldn’t have the opportunity to investigate it.

Eating the vegetable on a daily basis had changed her physique. She can do a one-hour workout on a 15% incline and a speed of 6 mile per hour settings on a treadmill without breaking a sweat, a big improvement compared to before.
