“Do you feel any discomfort?”

“Actually no. It was very comfortable.” Nanzhi honestly answered.

A proud smile graced Lin Weihao’s lips and it reached his eyes.

Well, he expected nothing less from his Zhi Zhi.

He grasped her hands and expressed his joy for her advancement, “Congratulations.”

“Thank you for your help.” Nanzhi replied.

The smile in Lin Weihao’s eyes deepened. “I really did nothing. It was all your work.”

Nanzhi couldn’t help but stare at Lin Weihao’s jubilant expression. If people were to see his smile, they would probably guess he was the one bearing the good news.

After the upgrade, Nanzhi felt she was extremely hungry.

She took out a large pot of seafood noodles, a pot of rice, shredded vegetable and tofu salad, and two bowls of braised pork from her space.

The two devoured it without leaving anything.

After her upgrade, Lin Weihao also absorbed the spars from the coyotes. Nanzhi also slipped in the remaining spar from the bighead carp into his hand.

They were limping from pain.

They moaned from the pain.

If Nanzhi was here, she would have recognized one of the intruders. One of was Xiao Cao, the brother of Xiao Lizi whom she met in the parking lot and the last one who spoke to dissuade others from continuing.

They were the ones who were watching Nanzhi’s group from the opposite building and seeing the bulging bags and their motorcycles they were carrying, the decided to rob them.

But who would have thought, not only they were unable to find the motorcycles, they sustained injuries too!

Their eyes burned with hatred and they galred to the direction of the upper floors.

Because of the pain, they could only abandon their plans for tonight and retreated.

This was a very wise choice since two grim reapers were waiting for them behind the palisade of the 20th floor’s staircase.

After Nanzhi and Lin Weihao didn’t hear any other sounds, they retreated back to the unit but not before doubling the security. They thicken the palisades more.

They didn’t want to shed as much as blood in the building as possible because, it will definitely lure unwanted alien beasts.

Since time had run out for their shifts, Nanzhi and Lin Weihao retired for the night.

Feng Ran and Yu Baoyin took their places.

“Ah, I’m still sleepy.”

Yu Baoyin and Feng Ran haven’t adjusted yet for the night watch but once they saw the food in the kitchen, they felt injected with chicken blood and their lethargy vanished.

Before sleeping, Nanzhi left four bowls of noodles and vegetable salad on the kitchen countertop and covered them with foil.

She also placed four coffee mugs, besides a thermos full of strong coffee she brewed. In case, the others get hungry. One can’t fight well with an empty stomach.

“See you in the morning.” Lin Weihao said before entering the second bedroom.

Once behind closed doors, Nanzhi jumped inside the Game Lobby.

Now she had more than 1 hour of time every day.

Although, Nanzhi had wished the times she wasn’t able to use for the previous day could be accumulated and used on the next days.

Not to waste any more time, she summoned several daggers in planning to explore her newly advanced Telekinesis Power.
