Chapter 318: Chapter 318: The Mysterious Superclass Monster! Crisis! Reversal!
As Luca’s voice fell, a silver-white light suddenly illuminated his body. In the blink of an eye, he appeared between Tuwnken and Timi, high in the sky.
“You…” Tuwnken stared at Luca, completely stunned. Before he could finish speaking, Luca reached out and grabbed the little girl in his arms, or more specifically, the doll the little girl was holding.
Almost the moment Luca’s hand brushed the doll, Tuwnken’s eyes widened in shock.
The seemingly ordinary teddy bear suddenly flashed with a red light from its pitch-black eyes. Then, its arm lifted, revealing long, icy sharp claws that shot out with terrifying speed, aiming straight for Luca’s hand.
But Luca seemed to have anticipated this move. His hand recoiled halfway before making contact.
The bear’s claws swiped through thin air.
“Well hidden,” Luca muttered coldly, his gaze fixed on the teddy bear in the girl’s arms. A chill flickered in his eyes.
The teddy bear also lifted its head, its blood-red eyes gleaming with malice and unbridled violence.
Two powerful presences erupted from both Luca and the bear, clashing with a force that sent shockwaves through the air.
In the middle of it all, Tuwnken, still holding the little girl, felt his breath almost halt.
“What… what is going on?” He looked down at the teddy bear, his face pale and his body trembling uncontrollably. The little girl had been holding a monster all this time?
He could feel it—the monster’s power far surpassed that of any ordinary creature. At the very least, it was a high-tier, peak-level monster. Perhaps even a Superclass monster!
The thought made Tuwnken’s legs go weak. At the same time, he felt a sudden, overwhelming urge to relieve himself. He had been in close proximity to a Superclass monster all this time?!
Nearby, Timi and the others also noticed something was off. They stared, dumbfounded, at the teddy bear that had suddenly come to life. Panic began to spread through the crowd.
“A… a monster… it’s actually a monster!” A middle-aged man stammered in horror, collapsing to the ground in fear.
Upon hearing his words, both the people in the crowd and the monsters turned to look at them simultaneously.
The crowd became chaotic, while the monsters, as if sensing blood in the air, began to move toward their location. This only intensified the panic.
As the situation threatened to spiral out of control, a calm voice rang out in everyone’s ears: “Stay quiet, keep moving forward, and under no circumstances make a sound!”
As Luca spoke, he invoked the power of Dreamweaving. The previously restless crowd, as if doused with cold water, immediately calmed down.
They continued walking forward, as though they hadn’t seen the monster at all, heading toward the outskirts of Leaf City.
Even the fear that had once been in Tuwnken’s eyes disappeared. He placed the little girl down and took another step forward. Only a flicker of hesitation showed in Timi’s Spirit Eyes, her expression torn as she regained a bit of clarity. However, after a deep glance at Luca, she ultimately chose to follow the others, continuing down the path.
The terrifying power of Dreamweaving was fully revealed. If used for malicious purposes, it was almost unimaginable.
The crowd resumed its steady movement, the unknown little girl standing dizzily within it.
Her eyes were closed, her head lowered, her small bear doll held in her hand. The bear’s blood-red eyes were fixed on Luca, a mocking and cruel smile curling at its mouth.
Luca’s expression remained neutral, and he drew his Starseeker.
The blade gleamed with a chilling light, exuding a killing intent.
“What exactly are you?” he muttered, gazing down at the strange monster before him, frowning.
This creature was vastly different from any monster Luca had encountered before. Its presence and energy were unlike those of the other monsters— unstable, as though something foreign had been forcibly inserted into another, creating a jarring sense of dissonance.
“Gah gah gah…” After hearing Luca’s words, the teddy bear’s mouth, stitched in black thread, suddenly split open, revealing a pitch-black interior.
From within, an eerie, girl’s laughter echoed, sending an unmistakable shiver down one’s spine, a chill that crawled under the skin.

Luca, however, was unperturbed. His eyes turned to the unknown little girl, and he frowned slightly.
With the fragments of the Primordial Crystal in hand, even with his current strength, he knew he could at least hold this monster back, if not defeat it outright.
The real question, however, was what to do about the little girl? What about the people around him? Could he just disregard their lives?
If this were the old Luca, he might have acted differently. When there were no other options, saving one person was better than saving none. But now, he understood something fundamental— opportunities wouldn’t come knocking by themselves, and solutions had to be created. If he couldn’t save even one person, what was the point of fighting for the rest? It would only invite ridicule.
The teddy bear seemed to sense Luca’s hesitation. Its plush face twisted into a more brazen grin, almost as if mocking his lack of self-awareness, as if to say, “I’m right here—what are you going to do about it?”
Luca tightened his grip on the long blade, a fierce killing intent flashing in his eyes.
But quickly, the murderous look vanished, replaced by a cold, unfeeling demeanor.
His arm lifted, and with brutal precision, he swung the blade!
In an instant, the sharp, cold light of the blade sliced through the air, aimed directly at the little girl and the teddy bear.
What surprised everyone was that Luca’s primary target was not the teddy bear, but the little girl.
If the blow had landed on the bear, it might have been fine, but if it struck the little girl, there was no doubt she would die!
Facing the incoming strike, the teddy bear’s smile froze, and an expression of rage replaced it.
Boom! The ground exploded with a deafening sound! A black shadow flashed past with incredible speed. The blade, slicing through the air in mid-flight, detonated with a thunderous blast. A violent gust of wind whipped through the area, sending sand and stones flying. The purple mist parted for a brief moment, immediately drawing the attention of countless monsters.
“Roooar!!!” Upon seeing the countless humans within the mist, both low-tier and high-tier monsters let out furious, triumphant roars. They then charged forward like a tidal wave.
But the next moment, an even more oppressive force descended with earth-shattering intensity. A surge of Demonic energy shot skyward. The suppression from its bloodline caused even the high-tier monsters to show fear, halting their charge instantly, as though a raging river had suddenly turned still.
Within the purple mist, the teddy bear was now completely enveloped by the Demonic energy.
At the same time, its small form began to expand rapidly, like an inflatable doll.
Rip! The threads that held it together snapped, and the fabric tore apart, the sound of rending cloth continuous. However, what was surprising was that within the stuffed bear, it was not cotton filling but pieces of what appeared to be blood-red flesh-like chunks.
These masses of flesh expanded and squirmed, quickly transforming the small stuffed bear into a massive creature made of blood and flesh.
“Roar!!!” The creature, entirely made of pulsating red flesh, let out a deafening roar as the Demonic energy around it surged. Its features were hollow, and its claws were as sharp as steel blades, though remnants of the teddy bear’s original form were still visible.
At the center of its chest was a heart-shaped hollow. Inside was a blood-red room, where the eleven or twelve-year-old little girl lay sleeping soundly, her slumber undisturbed by the horrors around her.
What… exactly is this creature?
Luca couldn’t help but furrow his brows. In his Perception, the sense of dissonance had intensified. Two completely different sources of Demonic energy were now present in one monster, forcibly fused together. Even he, with all his experience, had never seen such a thing. He couldn’t figure out what exactly was happening.
“What the hell is this thing?” Quagmire and the others in the sky had all noticed the sudden change.
As they saw the ever-growing creature, especially after sensing its Superclass aura, shock appeared on their faces. This was actually a Superclass monster!
“Damn it, we really are just unlucky, aren’t we?” Quagmire couldn’t help but curse. The first-ever Superclass monster in the world had shown up right in front of them. Their luck was beyond terrible.
Donlow and the others also looked grim. With their strength, they could handle high-tier monsters, but facing a Superclass monster? Forget about killing it—escaping would probably be next to impossible.
“Don’t worry, let’s take it down!” Fuzzsir said arrogantly, slapping his chest. “If you die, I’ll use my skill to resurrect you.”
Quagmire and Donlow both forced a bitter smile. At times like these, it was probably only Fuzzsir who could stay so optimistic.
“In the end, we still lost…” Cornbark looked at the monster standing among the crowd, a feeling of despair rising in his chest. They had thought they saw hope, but it had quickly turned into despair.
At the same time, the surrounding monsters didn’t dare to move under the overwhelming pressure from the teddy bear creature. Meanwhile, the humans walking by seemed completely unaware of the terrifying monster next to them, walking past it with blank expressions.
This eerie stillness and movement created an incredibly strange atmosphere. Luca looked at the exposed form of the monster, a smile forming at the corner of his lips.
As expected, the monster’s presence next to the little girl wasn’t a coincidence; it was there specifically to protect her.
Though Luca didn’t know the exact reason behind it, at least it was clear that the little girl was in no immediate danger. That made things a lot simpler.
A glimmer of cold blue light flashed in his eyes, and a powerful surge of witchcraft erupted from him.
The giant blue eyes in the sky slowly faded, and immediately, an enormous hand reached down, aiming straight for the towering monster.
The blood-red monster raised its head and let out a deafening roar, its bear-like claw made of flesh slashing towards the sky. The red and blue hands—one monstrous and one divine—clashed in mid-air with a resounding boom, under the gaze of countless monsters and soldiers.
