Chapter 71: Unstable
“I’m sorry, I had some really important matters to deal with”

Said Hans, even if he was lying, it would’ve been better for Aiden to think that way instead of knowing he had been away for over a month just to read, otherwise he really might’ve thought that Hans had abandoned him.

“Nothing happened, it was just that my phone battery had run out.

During the whole dinner, Aiden continued talking nonstop, his excitement could be seen from miles away.

He looked tired, and he actually was, so much that when they decided to watch a movie, it didn’t take ten minutes for him to fall asleep.

Hans couldn’t lift him and take him to bed like they do with kids, but he did cover his body with a blanket, and turned off all the lights.

But just as he was preparing himself to go to sleep, the voice of a woman came from behind him.

“A kid huh, that’s new, I didn’t remember you being such a person”

Hans was immediately alerted, he had let this guard down but still, this woman had managed to enter his house without him being able to sense her in the least.

But even in that sudden panick, Hans tried to play it as normally as possible.

“I did hear, that a beautiful and powerful woman was looking for me.

Does that happen to be you?”

However, when Hans turned his head, all his acting crumbled, as he was stunned by the woman’s beauty.

Her black dress and hair were kissed by the moonlight, and her purplish eyes truly stood out among her face.

Her beauty was definitely unmatched, and she was Han’s perfect type, but something else seemed off, she looked…familiar.

She was slightly chuckling, as if happy to reunite with someone she missed, and her mood seemed to be great.

But Hans on the contrary was really worried, if a fight was to break out then Aiden would’ve been affected by it.

“Seriously though, it’s been a lot of time but do you not recognize me?”

“Help, please, my brother’s been attacked by an awakened woman”

The voice of the assistant behind the phone suddenly became agitated.

“Aiden, I need you to do something for me, could you tell me where you are?”
