Chapter 81: Mana influx
The following day, Hans had a break, since both the first and the second classes were attending other lectures.

He spent all the morning meditating, and only came out of his room around 2pm to eat something.

Even if he had enough money to seat in a luxurious restaurant every day, he couldn’t help but take the usual pizza.

Munching on the melted cheese, he was thinking about his current situation.

‘I have finally regained about fifteen percent of my former power thanks to my steady meditation, and that is not all, the effect of the meditation seem to be getting greater and greater.

“Are you ready?” Asked Hans watching the student’s back while walking towards him.

“Alright then, close your eyes and focus up”

Logan did as told, and soon felt the touch of two hands on his back.

“To reach mana influx you have to circulate the mana that normally resides in your circles around your whole body, Don’t worry about me and just focus on trying to control your energy.

If something goes wrong I’ll help you, but don’t mess up too badly or even I won’t be able to do anything about it.”

Extremely focused, he didn’t even reply to Hans, but he had listened to what was being told to him.

Logan left, and Hans accompanied Claire into a gate for a couple of hours before returning in the facility.

Normally mana leaking from the gates will be picked up by a satellite’s sensor, but the the array covering the academy from unfriendly eyes seemed to have messed up with that, so many gates had appeared all around the place, noting but a pleasure for him since if not for those he would have to find another way to raise Claire’s level.

“Since we are done with this, I think it’s time to meet him again, I have really missed you,

Aiden”

“See ya dude”

“Yeah, see you tomorrow”

Two young boys were waving off each other, as the sun on the horizon was being stained by the shadow of the trees in the distance.

One of the two, Aiden Everly, was returning home with his backpack on, keeping his hands on the shoulder straps.

As he walked down the stone paved path towards the dormitory, he thought about his life during the past few days.

‘ it has been about three days since I have come here hasn’t it?

I came here with the intention of staying with brother Hans but..

During the entrance ceremony , during classrooms, and during breaks too, how come I haven’t seen him once in seventy hours?’

He looked like he was on the verge of crying.

‘Hah.. well, I at least found a good friend.

The kid he had just said goodbye to was called Grant Sullivan, they met during the first lesson, and from then on, they always moved one with the other.

Only thing was that Grant was more sociable than Aiden, so he went out every dinner with the friends from class to party and enjoy life, while Aiden came back to his dormitory without meeting any new people, during the time others spent partying he studied and tried improving as much as he could, not only was he below the other’s level, his class was also just a normal one, and more importantly than everything else, he would have to protect Hans in the future.

‘I wonder when I’ll be able to see you again Hans’

‘Hans!’

As he was deeply in thought, he failed to notice the person that had been standing in front of him for a couple of seconds till now.

“Hans!” He said excited.

“I’m here! What do you think of this school? Better than the previous ones?”

“Haha, brother! Of course, it sucks like all schools”

‘This brat.. did he undergo a personality change? I guess it’s true that the people around you affect who you are.’

“Well then, how about we go and take a drink?”

“Brother I can’t legally drink, neither can you”

“You little prick that’s not what I meant..

Wait, have you perhaps been drinking something else without me?”

A shadow of fear appeared in Aiden eyes as his cheerful and gentle brother turned into a demon in front of his eyes, not even he knew how, but he managed to gather up all the courage in his body to mutter:
