Nina chuckled as she was arranging all the souvenirs she had bought today. It was their first day, but she knew she had to organize everything instead of doing it last minute.

“You really liked them, huh?” Suddenly, Finn spoke from behind her as he sat on the edge of the bed, drying his hair. “Who are they for?”

“Well, these are for Auntie, these are for Yuri, and then some of these are for Yugi and Uncle,” she started pointing at the souvenirs. “Since Penny and everyone were also here, I can treat them to some. So, I think I’ll buy more for them, including Mom and Dad.”

Finn chuckled, rocking his head. “It’s a good thing we added some extra baggage.”

“How did you know we should?”

“Knowing you, I’m almost certain you’d buy a lot for everyone.”

“Hehe.” Nina fixed the last of the souvenirs she hadn’t placed in the luggage, and when she was done, she looked back at him. However, whatever she wanted to say halted when her eyes fell on him.

There, seated on the edge of the bed, was Finn in a robe. A part of his chest was exposed, and his hair had fallen in a way that gave him a cozier look.

“Anyway, are you sure you’d want to stay in the hotel?” Finn asked out of pure curiosity. “Penny did invite you to stay in the Pierson rest house. That would give you more time with her.”

“…”

Finn blinked and then blinked again, knitting his brows. “Nina, are you okay?”

“Uh?” His query snapped her back to the present. “Ah! Yes! It’s okay! Right! I’ll just shower! You should dry yourself and change since you’re still prone to colds and things like that!”

By the time she finished her reminder, she was already in the bathroom.

“And things like that…?” This time, Finn was the one rendered speechless as the bathroom door slammed shut. He stared at it, tilting his head a little to the side.

After a second, he peeked down at himself and then chuckled. “I forgot,” he whispered, closing the gap that showed his chest while shaking his head. “I should be the one like this to her.”

That night, Finn and Nina had a serious talk. It turned out that the reason Nina was avoiding him was because she was scared. She said that the way he kissed her was something she liked in a different way and that she knew it wouldn’t just stop there.

Of course, that made him happy and excited, as the feeling was mutual.

However, he also understood that Nina wanted to stay a virgin despite the temptation. Therefore, they had a proper conversation about it and agreed to fight this urge together. He also confessed that holding back wasn’t easy for him either.

Finn reclined on the bed without changing first, gazing at the ceiling. “I want to get married soon,” he whispered before he smiled. “But even without ‘that’, I feel okay. This only proves that I’m really in love with her.”

If not, he wouldn’t just willingly wait for her or perhaps manipulate her to give in. But he hadn’t done any of that, even if he had to stay with her in the same room with no one else but them.

‘I should change into pajamas so she doesn’t have to look away.’

“Blacky~! Chunchun~!” Penny happily called out, running to meet her beloved children halfway. “Look what I got — uh oh!”

The rest of her words rolled back into her throat as she saw Renny suddenly leaping at her. As usual, Penny had to prepare herself for this gentle giant that was unaware of its own size. She quickly fled to the lawn while keeping her eyes on the black panther running in her direction.

While Penny wrestled with Renny on the grass, Zoren and Atlas kept their eyes on her.

Meow.

Atlas raised an eyebrow when he heard a cat’s purr. Zoren also gazed down, smiling as he picked up Chunchun in his arms.

“We’re back,” Zoren said gently, tickling her neck with his fingers.

“Chunchun, you shouldn’t bother them so much since it was a long day,” Atlas remarked to the little cat. “Also, discipline that oversized cat. Make yourself useful.”

Meow.

“First Brother, Renny’s size is perfect for its breed,” Zoren chuckled gently. “Anyway, thank you for today.”

“What did I do to deserve this thanks?”

Zoren smiled. “For working hard. You worked in the morning and then joined us in the afternoon. I was expecting that you’d go back here and rest.”

“If I didn’t come with you, you and Penny would’ve stayed back and gone with Slater.” As usual, Atlas didn’t budge. “The two of you were both troublesome when drunk.”

Having said that, Atlas turned his back and walked inside. He stopped again when Zoren spoke again.

“Then I have more reason to thank you,” Zoren expressed. “For not just working hard, but for looking after us.”

Atlas glanced over his shoulder. His mouth parted, but his voice didn’t come out. Instead, he resumed his steps and made his way inside the rest house.

Just then, Butler Lee also came out. After greeting Atlas, he went to where Zoren was standing. “Welcome back, Young Master. Where is everyone?”

“They had other plans for tonight, so they might not come back tonight. Though, I’m worried that Second Brother doesn’t know about the curfew. Please send a boat to pick him up at the pier,” Zoren said before setting his eyes on his wife and Renny. He smiled, listening to his wife’s chuckles while Renny was licking her.

“Butler Lee,” he called, eyes on his wife. “Did you prepare it?”

Butler Lee’s smile stretched wider, and he nodded politely. “Yes, Young Master. We prepared everything you asked for. It was perfect. I’m sure the Young Madam will be happy.”

Satisfied, Zoren nodded. “Renny,” he called calmly, but Renny did not stop from tickling his mother.

“Renren, you don’t have to scold Blacky like that!” Penny frowned.

“I’m not scolding him,” he reasoned. “However, we’re running behind schedule.”

“Huh?” Deep lines appeared between Penny’s brows, confused at the look on her husband’s face.
