Chapter 633: Do you want to take down the Bennet Family?
[Old Bennet Residence]
“Grandpa! Please! Don’t do this to me!” Sven begged on his knees, hugging his grandfather’s leg while the old man sat in the wing chair. He shook his head, tears welling in his eyes. “Grandpa, I’ve done many things for you! I swear it’s not me! Atlas and Penny did this to me on purpose!”
Chairman Bennet’s face soured as he gazed down at his grandchild, who wept at his feet like a clown. “You good-for-nothing bastard!” he roared, lifting his cane to push Sven away. “Don’t you have any dignity left?! How can you beg like this as a man, huh?!”
“Grandpa!” Sven was pushed aside, but he quickly crawled back to the chairman. However, this time, Chairman Bennet launched a kick at his chest.
Sven’s breath hitched, his heart stopping for a moment from the impact. After a second, he coughed, his hand pressed against his chest.
“You… idiot!” Chairman Bennet huffed, getting up from his seat. He raised his cane and violently swung it down at Sven, who was such a disgrace to the Bennet family.
“Aw — Grandpa!” Sven squealed, blocking his head and curling into a ball on the ground to protect himself. “Grandpa — ouch! Aw! Ah!”
Yet Chairman Bennet continued to cane him out of frustration. If not for his age, he would have continued until he felt appeased. But alas, he was already too old to go on.
Gazing down at Sven, his wrinkled face twisted in disgust. “You loser of a child! Did you know how much we could have lost if not for Atlas, huh?!”
“Grandpa! I told you! I am being framed!” Sven exclaimed, quickly dropping to his knees again to face his grandfather. “Atlas and Penny were both in on it! They sent me this negotiation letter just to make a fool out of me! It was their plan all along so Atlas would get all the glory! They also planned to cut off Ito Motors! My only fault here is that I fell for their wicked trap!”
“You little!” Chairman Bennet raised his cane to hit him again but stopped when Sven covered his head with his arms. He huffed and clenched his teeth, shaking his head in disappointment.
All these years, Chairman Bennet had taken care of Sven and Sofia just to spite Charles. He wanted to show Charles that his son’s ways weren’t as effective as the Bennet rules. This was mainly the reason Chairman Bennet had taken extra care of Sven; he thought if he favored this young man, the next head of the Bennet family would be the person Chairman Bennet raised.
The reality was different.
Atlas and Penny… no, all of Charles’s children turned out to be successful individuals. Atlas and Hugo were already given accolades for their excellence as kids. Slater, on the other hand, might not be as smart as Atlas or as athletic as Hugo, but he still excelled in his chosen career. Even though Slater’s career was “just” in music, he still excelled.
Now, just when everyone thought the only failure was Charles’s daughter, they were mistaken.
“That kid ended up becoming just as successful as her brothers — perhaps even better,” Chairman Bennet fumed as he approached his desk, picking up a thin can that held his cigars. “But this kid…”
He then looked back at the pathetic Sven, overwhelmed by the desire to beat this young man to a pulp. If he were in his prime, Sven wouldn’t even have had the strength to get back on his knees to beg.
“Grandpa, please listen to me! I’m innocent!” Sven cried out, clasping his chest tightly. “I am a victim of Penny and Atlas’s wicked plan to take me out!”
What followed Sven’s cry of innocence was a book flying directly at his head. It hit his forehead, leaving a scratch.
“You stupid brat!” Chairman Bennet roared. “I’ve told you many times, but you don’t seem to use your head anymore! Even if you’re innocent, the results tell us otherwise! In the eyes of the public, you sowed discord between the Ito Family and the Bennet Family! Even if the Ito and Bennet Families reconcile, the Ito Family will curse you until the day they die!”
Chairman Bennet reached out for anything on the desk, throwing a small figurine at Sven. This time, he missed because Sven dodged while holding his head.
“I can’t believe you’re this pathetic!” he huffed angrily. “Get out of here, or I’ll end up killing you.”
“Grandpa —”
“You pathetic fool!” Chairman Bennet’s voice thundered. “Atlas is the head of the family now, and he decided to kick you out of the company. Even if I have the power to retract his decision, why would I keep a pathetic fool like you!? You’ve shamed our family. I don’t need a disgrace like you in this family!”
Sven whimpered, hoping his grandfather would sympathize with him. However, Chairman Bennet wasn’t one to change his mind quickly — not after Sven had disgraced him. Sven had been Chairman Bennet’s greatest pride, but he had let him down. Now, not only did Chairman Bennet have to live with the shame of raising such a foolish child, but he couldn’t simply meddle in Atlas’s affairs as his position in the family was solidifying.
Atlas had Zoren at his side… and then Penny owned the leading security firm at the moment. It was only a matter of time before Atlas decided whether he should retire or not.
“Sven Bennet, if I were you, I would live a quiet life,” Chairman Bennet advised. “Just go and leave, enjoy the luxury of being a Bennet, or I will kill you.”
Sven pressed his lips together before hanging his head low, dragging himself away. This was the umpteenth time he had tried to see his grandfather, but this was the only time Chairman Bennet willingly agreed to see him. However, all Sven received was a loss of hope.
Chairman Bennet had already switched sides and now favored Atlas.
Now Sven was left with nothing. He was kicked out of Global Prime Logistics, the elites saw him as a plague, and no one was interested in him.

Sven left the residence with a heavy heart, having no idea what would happen to him now. He had lost his grandfather’s favor. So, even if he begged Atlas to take him back, there was no way Atlas would do that.
Seated in the driver’s seat, a deep exhale slipped from him. “What am I going to do now? This is all that damn Atlas’s fault! And Grandpa is such a fickle-hearted man! How can he just toss me aside when all my life I’ve lived to please him!?” he grumbled.
Just as he was about to start the car, he noticed a red envelope on the front passenger seat.
“Huh? What’s this?” he wondered, reaching out for the envelope. Curious, he opened it and took out a small note inside. Deep lines appeared between his brows. The letter said:
