Annabelle was the most feared young lady in the entire Kyrrith Kingdom. It was also the strongest kingdom on the human continent, so for someone to be feared throughout this kingdom meant she was feared across the whole human continent.

The reason was simple.

Annabelle was no ordinary young lady. She was the disciple of one of the seven Saint Alchemists on the continent.

In fact, her master’s status was such that it could be said Annabelle was the disciple of the most wicked righteous person on the entire human continent.

“Master, I need revenge!” Annabelle cried as she ran into her master’s house upon her arrival.

Her master, the woman in question, didn’t look very old. However, perhaps due to her practice, her appearance was far from pleasant. Dark circles shadowed her eyes, and her fingertips were stained black, likely from poison or something equally sinister.

She had short hair, and were it not for her demented nature, she might have attracted men with the prominence of her chest and the curve of her hips. She is packing on both fronts.

“What happened?” Pill Saint Riva asked.

“Some bastard bought the Dreamshade Flower I needed, and when I asked for it back, he outright insulted me and you. He said that no matter who I am or what my status is, he wouldn’t give me the herb.” Annabelle clenched her fists, her frustration was evident.

“Even after I used your badge, he didn’t budge. He even told me to tell you to learn the laws of alchemy and said that if you don’t know them, feel free to find him—he’ll teach you.”

“What… Who the hell is he to think he can tell me what to do?” Pill Saint Riva shouted, abruptly standing up from her work.

“Do you know his name or where he’s from?” she asked sharply.

“He said he’s from the Divine Palace Sect,” Annabelle replied, her frown unwavering.

“I see. Go and finish your assignment. The moment I’m done with this, we’ll see who will be teaching whom the laws of alchemy.”

Annabelle nodded and hugged her master, burying her face between the woman’s ample bosom. Pill Saint Riva, who had always indulged her disciple, gently patted her head.

“Don’t worry. We’ll be getting the herb back.”

With that reassurance, Annabelle ran off to her apartment, leaving Pill Saint Riva alone, a deep frown now etched on her face.

“The laws of alchemy…” she muttered, a sense of foreboding settling over her.

She is an alchemist, and the laws of Alchemy are something nobody—not even the Pill God—can go against. Of course, in a medium world like this, those laws are not widely known.

However, the fact that she gave her alchemy badge to her disciple was a great offence. If the laws were to be enforced, it would result in her losing her ranking for 200 years.

This means that for 200 years, she wouldn’t be known as a Pill Saint, nor could she enjoy the privilege of entering places reserved exclusively for Pill Saints.

The rules are very strict, and because of this, she knew that if this unknown youngster were to somehow make these laws known, she would be in hot water.

“He must be taken care of,” she muttered before returning to her work.

In a week’s time, she would be heading to the Althea Kingdom, specifically to the Divine Palace Sect, where she planned to use her authority to get her way.

Meanwhile, while this master and disciple duo were making plans to go after Kent, the young man in question had just concocted the last pill, achieving the threshold of 60 Tier 1 pills and 60 Tier 2 pills.

These are two out of the four requirements to become a Pill Grandmaster. In a way, he had just completed these requirements and was now left with the final two.

“The Tier 3 pill recipe has now been purchased, and I have the ingredients. However, I need to wait a few days to practice my flame technique and become more confident in my ability to concoct a Tier 3 pill.

Kent stood up and entered a small house he had spent 20,000 Tower Points to build inside the Alchemy Tower. It contained a bath where he quickly freshened up.

He had already spent six days inside the tower, but only six hours had passed outside. That meant he still had 18 hours outside before he and his master departed for the academy.

Of course, this also meant he had 18 days inside the tower to do whatever he wanted. While he knew what he wanted to do, instead of heading to the Harem Tower, he first went to Tower City, where Gaia, Akira, Li Hua, and the three Soul Sentinels were now living.

They had grown much closer to the three lolis. Li Hua, in particular, had become close with Nyxira, the elf assassin who was also the strongest of the three Soul Sentinels under Elsa.

This way, Nyxira could use their relationship to stall her until she came of age. Nonetheless, even without much formal teaching, Nyxira planned to teach her some dagger techniques to make her feel empowered.

Li Hua might be a child, but after the events that led to her grandmother’s death, she changed completely.

After leaving that place, Kent went to the Tower Store, where he purchased items he planned to use against the Pill Saint in case she came looking for trouble.

Right now, all he needed was more Tower Points to acquire some of the best treasures the universe had to offer.

He wants to make sure he is always prepared for danger.

If she came in peace, things would remain peaceful. Otherwise, chaos would ensue.

After leaving the Tower store, he entered the Harem Tower. He appeared inside the Love Garden, knowing the four ladies were in the pool.

However, the moment he appeared, he saw his master sitting in a lotus posture with her eyes closed. Kent sensed that she had become a Root Great Sage and had even stabilized her cultivation base.

Kent smiled and then sat down behind her. After an hour, she opened her eyes and turned to him.

“Congrats, Master. You are now a Root Great Sage,” Kent said with a smile, making his master smile as well. After smiling, she looked into his eyes for a whole minute until she finally said the magic words.

“I am ready, Kent.”
