Chapter 185: Chaotic Friendship
When Kent received the [Enchanted Eyes], he was able to use them to view the stats, threat level, and certain details about people, objects, and places. This ability was made possible thanks to the Enchantress Book he had absorbed.
However, as his soul strength grew and he gained significant boosts from his lovers, he began to perceive entirely new aspects of the world.
One of these new abilities is the ability to see Intent (Intention).
Kent can now perceive someone’s intent in percentage form. Initially, he didn’t understand how it worked, but he discovered the pattern through careful observation during duels.
Anything from 0% to 30% is considered neutral. From 30% to 50% indicates danger, and anything above 50% signifies an intent to kill.
It was the reason Kent was able to tell that Saintess Neomi wasn’t planning to kill him when she drew her spear. He glanced at her Intent Meter and saw that it was low.
However, when he made his intentions toward her disciple known, her Intent Meter shot up to 52%. As a result, Kent endured a few minutes of relentless beatings, leaving him with several broken bones.
A short while ago, Saintess Selene and Ingrid were discussing matters related to Kent. Selene was sharing details about how she met him and even disclosed their intimate relationship.
Ingrid was initially shocked but quickly composed herself. However, her curiosity was piqued, and she began asking a flurry of questions.
Of course, Selene was happy to talk, for she knew what she was doing.
However, a few minutes into her speech, they heard a scream, followed by another scream. This forced them to pocket their conversation and rush out to see what was happening.
It was then that they saw Kent getting thrashed by Saintess Neomi, who was using nothing but her hands. Kent’s right arm was bent at an unnatural angle, and his left leg was in the same condition.
The two ladies froze for a moment, and they could only watch as the usually calm Spear Saintess suddenly resorted to violence.
After five minutes of beatings, she stopped, retrieved a healing potion from her space ring, and made Kent drink it.
“Ouch…”
Kent screamed as Saintess Selene took his arm and bent it back to its natural angle.
“Shut up… are you a baby? Let me fix your leg,” Saintess Neomi snapped, smacking the back of his head before straightening his broken leg. She made sure to do it slowly and painfully.
Kent groaned through the pain as he locked eyes with the Spear Saintess, who, for a moment, flashed a small smile before standing up.
“Come visit me after you’ve recovered. I still have some things to talk to you about,” Saintess Neomi said, glancing at Ingrid before smiling.
“You can stay here if you want… but stay away from this bastard. He is a snake.” After saying that, she took to the skies and left.
Kent stayed on the ground for a few minutes before a small smile appeared on his lips. ‘I will definitely get my revenge one day…’

Those weird and painful moments moved the friendship meter by 5%, which, in Kent’s book, was a successful endeavour.
Saintess Selene quickly rushed to his side to check if he was seriously injured.
“Don’t worry, they’re just minor injuries… nothing my healing abilities can’t fix,” Kent assured her. To prove his point, he stood up. Though painful, he wasn’t about to cry like a baby.
He walked around to show her he was all right.
Kent then looked at Ingrid, who was looking back at him and smiled.

“We haven’t officially met. I am Kent, Kent Madson,” Kent said, extending his hand for a shake, which Ingrid readily accepted.
Right now, Ingrid didn’t know how to behave around him. The events that led to their meeting were just too shameful.
She had been caught spying on him while he was being intimate with his lover. That was just too embarrassing, to say the least. Now, she was face-to-face with the one she had been spying on and didn’t know how to act.
Saintess Selene watched from the side, a smile playing on her lips.
“Your master is wicked,” Kent said, deciding to spare her the teasing today and change the topic.
“I don’t know why she beat you up, but Master is much more reserved and calm,” Ingrid replied, defending her master.
“Well, I guess asking her for advice on how to get into her disciple’s pants can make anyone mad,” Kent said, making Ingrid freeze up. Kent just smiled, walked closer to his master, and planted a kiss on her lips before turning back to Ingrid.
“You can stay for the next few days, right? I have some things to take care of, and as you can see, I need to recover from your master’s clear physical torture.” Kent moved closer to her and held her by the waist.
“We’ll get to know each other more when I recover,” he added, ensuring his hand brushed past her ass, making Ingrid’s body stiffen.
Kent just smiled and walked away. He entered the bedroom and lay on the bed. The next second, he vanished into the Arena and reappeared inside the Alchemy Tower in a poison-filled bath.
It was the last herbal bath he had prepared before venturing. He went to practice the swordplays so he could break through. As he began absorbing its effects, he unknowingly drifted into sleep.
Meanwhile, outside, Ingrid was still frozen after Kent had gently massaged her ass. She stood there for a few minutes until Saintess Selene led her away.
“Is he that shameless? We don’t even know each other that well, and he’s already this handsy,” Ingrid said, finally calming down as she looked at the smiling Saintess.
“That’s Kent. If he managed to make his master his woman, you can only imagine what he’s capable of,” Saintess Selene chuckled, pulling out a sword technique from her space ring.
“Is that a Heaven-Grade Sword Technique?” Ingrid asked, looking at the skill book with interest. One could even see her eyes sparkling as she looked at the skill book.
“Yes.” Saintess Selene smiled and took out two more. “Kent bought them for me when he was working his way into my pants.”
She held the technique with a defeated smile. “I guess he succeeded. That bastard,” she said, her words accompanied by a satisfied smile.
“Don’t worry, I will extort him to get you a few techniques when he is done recovering,” Saintess Selene said, looking at Ingrid…
“You make it sound like he has money lying around. Heaven-Grade skills are expensive, you know. Even my master only has one, and that was because she won it in a duel,” Ingrid said.
“Yeah, well, Kent is not only handsome, but he’s also very rich… You wouldn’t believe me yet, but wait for him to come out first and see for yourself. My advice to you, however, don’t reject him when he offers. I nearly made that mistake myself.”
Ingrid looked at her expression and nodded.
The saintess nodded in return and began learning the [Void Cutter] skill Kent had bought for her in the Green Bazaar, leaving Ingrid to ponder a few life choices.
One had to give it to the Sword Saintess. Her shamelessness was on the same level as Kent’s. She might not like to show her true colours to those she hated, but when it came to those she liked, her hidden demons surfaced.
