Chapter 214: The Lonely Prisoner
“So, what will you do now that you are the most famous archer in the sect?” Kent asked Unity, who was wearing her clothes after spending two days inside the tower with him.
“I will probably enter seclusion until the auction in two weeks,” Unity said, and Kent just nodded.
“What about you? Do you have any plans?” Unity asked.
“I have a couple of things I need to handle first before entering seclusion,” Kent replied before putting on his own clothes. Once they were each done, they kissed before Unity left to return to the real world.
Kent then teleported to the Alchemy Tower…
“Gaia, do you perhaps have a way to keep my women on the outside and at the same time inside the tower? I feel like they should spend more time inside the tower since everything here is just better,” Kent asked.
Gaia appeared beside him the next second, wearing a pondering expression.
[I have a skill called [Perfect Cloning]. This skill will allow them to create a perfect clone of themselves that they can either use to stay on the outside while the real body is in the tower or the clone can stay in the tower while the real body remains on the outside.]
Gaia said, and Kent pondered that.
“Would the clone be able to handle things on the outside then… like interact with people or even manage their daily activities?” Kent asked.
[Of course. The perfect cloning creates an exact copy of anyone. It replicates everything down to their personality, except they cannot choose to become a person on their own, unlike how gods can create avatars that can live their own separate lives]
“I see. Then how much is this cloning skill?” Kent asked.
[It’s just 50 million tower points.]
“You’ve got to be kidding me. How am I going to earn that much anyway?” Kent asked, looking at the scammer hovering before him.
[You currently have 9,500,700 tower points from all the duels you fought and won, along with some completed quests. So, do more and earn more, I guess.]
Gaia giggled, but Kent ignored her and focused on his main objective. “Do you still have the tracker on Manager Alina active?”
[Yes. She arrived in Vastport City yesterday and is currently staying in the most secure suite at the Evermore Green Life Hotel.]
“Good. Then, I guess it is time to pay a visit to our friend.” Kent smiled and then teleported away, appearing in front of a mountain cave.
If one looked closely, it was similar to the Makosa Prison, the same place where he had rescued Li Hua from when the Ashland noble kidnapped her.
This was Gaia’s doing, considering she had asked permission to design the prison a few weeks ago.
“This reminds me, Gaia, do you have a way to retrieve that thing below the real Makosa Prison?” Kent asked.
When he went to rescue Li Hua a couple of months ago, he also found out that Jacob Ashland, the bastard son of the Ashland family, had been captured by the goons under his father and was to be sold to slave traders.
They were meant to kill him, but out of greed, they chose to sell him.
Back then, Kent and Gaia nearly missed him because, although Gaia hadn’t awakened yet, she still could detect even the smallest details.
But they nearly missed it back then, mainly because she couldn’t scan him. He later learned that a mineral down there seemed to be interfere with the surroundings.
Of course, they had to put a pin in it for the time being due to how weak they both were back then. But now, the tower has awakened, and Kent has also grown stronger.
[I left some markers then, and from what I found out, the item is some kind of special artifact that requires a great understanding of spatial law. Of course, I can easily retrieve it, but that would be a loss.
So, instead of doing that, I created a formation around it. Now, when you reach the Root Transcendent stage, you will have to retrieve it yourself.
This will help you start to become familiar with spatial law, and if you are good enough, you can even begin learning space law.]

“Good to know. I guess I’ll put a pin in it again,” Kent said before entering the prison. It was the Tower Prison, and while Gaia may have spiced up its description, it was basically Kent’s torture chamber.
Basically, anyone sent there has no hope of coming back out again. Per the rules of the prison, all those sent there will lose their cultivation—or rather, have it locked—rendering them powerless.
Currently, Turyn Miller, the heir of the Miller Noble family, was the first prisoner to grace the prison with his presence.
He has been in there for weeks now, considering the time difference. He is now akin to a mortal, and his hunger at the moment was boiling over.
He was brought in 19 hours ago, which amounts to 19 days inside the prison. As a mortal, he needed food and water, but he was no ordinary mortal.
No, Turyn had done some of the most despicable things even monsters wouldn’t dare to do.
He had hurt hundreds of young ladies who had dreams they wished to fulfill; they had aims they wanted to achieve, but because of him, they were now traumatized beyond repair.
Manager Alina, Kent’s lover, was one of those people, and so, while this was torture, Kent was about to subject him to the most gruesome one—even monsters would shudder in terror.
He may be the delicate and charming Kent, but he also has a darkness in him… His hatred is something even the Goddess of Hate and Resentment was impressed by.
So if Turyn had any hopes of living a peaceful life after his death, then when Kent is done with him, even his 100th incarnation after this will still be traumatized.
Kent moved through the series of prison cells until he arrived at one housing many bats, each squeaking as if their lives depended on it.
At the center of this prison cell was a young man who looked worn out, covering his ears—probably due to the harrowing and torturous sounds coming from the bats.
“How are the bats treating you?” Kent said, snapping Turyn—who was already traumatized—out of his daze, making him look at him with a hopeful gaze.
