Chapter 226: The Third Chained Quest

“Kent, what are you doing here?” Ingrid asked the moment Kent appeared in her master’s residence.

“I am here to check if that Randy guy has already picked the venue and time. I want to enter seclusion now and don’t want a situation where he starts making noise that I ran when he challenged me,” Kent said.

She turned and looked at her disciple, who was still flustered from Kent’s playful advances just a few moments ago.

She sighed and then nodded toward her.

It was the approval Ingrid had been waiting for, and now, her master had given her the go-ahead. She could only wait for the moment when she and Kent could finally take the next step.

Kent remained in his lotus meditative posture for a couple of minutes before he began exuding his sword intent and Qi. He was also muttering a few words he had learned from passing the second quest.
