Chapter 244: Saden’s Mission
Kent looked at the two Night Riders before him and smiled.

“I have a way to find where the next Night Rider is. However, it will be dangerous, and I would have to do it alone for now. But I promise I will find her, and then we all can rescue her, assuming she is in danger.”

Kent wasn’t about to assume the Night Rider was the one in danger or that she was the evil they were sensing. Anything is possible, so he wasn’t going to put all his cards on the table for now.

“Thank you, young master,” Uncle Drew said with a heavy sigh.

“You don’t have to worry about that. Since your teammate is probably in danger, I can only do this much and hope it works out in the end.”

Kent turned to Saden. “You have something on your mind. Come on, say it; we are all family here.” To some extent, Kent could sense the emotions of those connected to him, so he knew Saden wasn’t right.

“I need your permission to go after the Malric Noble Family. They nearly made me kill my own sister, and from what I discovered, they are into the slave business.”

Kent’s expression changed when he heard the word *slave*.

In fact, he had always been like that. It was that word that triggered him back in the Makosa prison when the lady from the Dark Devil Church threatened him.

In fact, it was now that he started to understand where that anger came from.

It was because of his life as Jest that made him hate slavery to that extent. Even billions of years later, the thought of becoming someone’s slave pissed him off. In fact, now, merely hearing the word *slave* pissed him off.

If possible, he would dedicate a huge chunk of his time just to go after slave traders. They were like a reminder of the torturous past he had endured, and he wasn’t going to tolerate any of that bullshit anymore.

“So, you want to go after them?” Kent asked, and Saden nodded.

Kent turned to Uncle Drew.

“Would you be joining her?”

“No. This is her mission, so she will be going alone. Of course, whenever she needs my help, I will be there, but for now, I will stay and help the master handle the matter of the next Night Rider.”

“I see.” Kent nodded, and then he snapped his finger.

Gaia appeared instantly, startling Saden and Uncle Drew.

“Gaia, I want you to take Saden to the Tower Store and let her buy everything she needs. You can deduct the cost from my Tower Points but don’t do anything unruly…I will know if you do and punish you.”

Gaia nodded with a smile. Obviously, Kent would soon be declaring bankruptcy.

“This is Gaia. She is one of my assistants. Go with her and buy everything you need. Since you want to bring down the entire Malric Noble Family, then it can only be done right.” Kent paused and then snapped his finger again.

Nyxira, Kael, and Kaelion appeared, startling the two Night Riders again.

“Saden, this is Nyxira. She is an assassin and a very good one. These are Kael and Kaelion; they are swordsmen. They will be helping you on this mission…Treat them as allies, and watch each other’s backs.”

Saden nodded, and the three Soul Sentinels also nodded.

“Gaia, take them all to the store and prepare them well.”

The overly cheerful Cosmic Loli nodded and vanished back into the tower with the four. Kent wanted nothing more than to see the fall of the Malrics.

His hatred for slavery is something he will never forget, so using that hatred, he will exact revenge on all of them, despite his trauma happening long before this world even formed.

“What do you plan on doing for now, Uncle Drew?” Kent asked. Though he said he would be staying with him, he knew Drew wouldn’t just sit there all day doing nothing.

“I will first go and check on Eryndor and see how far he has come in the mission you have given him. After that, I will go and check on Saden’s mission, but from a distance.

I will be done before the auction, so I will come to pick you and your ladies up since I presume you will be going.”

“Yes, and make room for a few more ladies. My inner circle has widened over the past few weeks,” Kent said, and Uncle Drew just smiled.

When they first met, he was driving Kent and Unity to Caprath City. Back then, along the way, Kent and Unity got freaky, but Uncle Drew, instead of getting mad, parked to let them have all the sex they wanted before continuing.

Since then, their bond formed and began to strengthen, so when he was at death’s door, Kent didn’t hesitate to consider using one of his last two remaining wishes to save him.

Luckily, that didn’t happen, and now they are much more connected than before.

But Uncle Drew also knows his young master is a pervert who loves the ladies, so when Kent asked for extra room, he knew anyone who would ride in that carriage would soon be in his bed.

“Don’t worry, young master. The carriage has all the space to accommodate you and your ladies.”

“Thank you.”

They chatted for a few hours, with Kent learning about Saden now having three subordinates hidden away inside the Realm of the Night.

When Kent heard the Realm of the Night mentioned by Uncle Drew, he felt happy for unknown reasons. He even offered to help him activate his mark, but Kent declined, saying he was not ready to enter that place.

When they were done, Uncle Drew left to go see Eryndor, previously known as Hyx, one of the leaders of the Dark Devil Church on the Human continent.

His mission, after becoming a Night Rider, was to gather all there is to know about the other leaders and the Dark Devil Church as a whole.

It was a dangerous mission, but as a Night Rider, during the night, he is practically invincible.
