Chapter 254: Kent’s Sword Intent Theory
Kent didn’t hold back his intent, something he never planned to hide in the first place.
The Gate Master was keen on breaking him, but she failed to notice she was playing with a dragon. Kent had already conquered two Saintesses; a Gate Master wouldn’t be much of a hassle.
But while he was thinking of all kinds of dirty stuff he would do to that ass. The Gate Master was regretting her decision to walk in front of him.
But that wasn’t something she could do but just hope that one of these days, she would get her hands on him.
They moved through the Sword Gate for a couple of minutes due to how fast they were walking. It would have been great if they flew, but…
After passing through the Sword Gate, they stopped in front of a small waterfall. Inside the waterfall was a cave, and that cave acted as the doorway to the Sword Garden.
That place was something the previous sect master found while exploring an ancient ruin thousands of years ago.
It’s filled with sword energy, so the moment a swordsman steps in, their understanding of the sword will take a huge turn. It was as if the moment one entered there, their sword comprehension speed skyrockets.
“What do you plan on achieving there?” the Gate Master asked when they arrived at the waterfall. She may hate Kent for taking all the beauties for himself, but she has also dedicated her entire life to the sword.
She was like the Spear Saintess; her life was one of battles and training in the hope that she would one day rise to the peak of the sword path.
So while she wanted to cut Kent’s dick off, she also wouldn’t be selfish and choose not to offer her knowledge in the sword path to a disciple under her care.
“I want to gain enlightenment from my sword intent. I believe I have reached a stage where a little clarity wouldn’t hurt,” Kent said.
“What stage have you reached?” she smirked, clearly sensing a Level 5 Enhanced Sword Intent from him.
“Have you ever wondered if sword intent can be more than just conveying the intent of a swordsman?” Kent asked, causing the smirk on Gate Master Mara’s face to disappear.
Kent smiled and then began to tell her his theory.
“Sword intent, as we know it, is the manifestation of a swordsman’s will, their resolve, and their understanding of the blade. But what if it’s more than that? What if sword intent isn’t just a reflection of the wielder, but a force that can shape reality itself?”
Gate Master Mara narrowed her eyes at him.
She had been where he was and thought of that, but she never seemed to see past what he had just said.
It is true; the sword’s intent is based on the swordsman’s will, understanding, and resolve. This is why, in the end, this intent becomes Sword Will. It’s the will of the swordsman.
So, if that is the case, why not go beyond just conveying one’s resolve and will? Why not make it a force on its own?
“Imagine the case where instead of the intent pressing down on the person, it instead shapes the reality around them. Imagine you pull out your sword, and time seems to slow down, or you pull out your sword, and reality seems to start to distort.”
Kent let out his theory, but the Gate master was not about to assume it was possible.
“All you say is imagination. I was once like you. I imagined countless ways to do what you are thinking about now, but even after years, I couldn’t find an answer.
Of course, I wouldn’t lie if I said this is possible. It’s indeed possible since somebody once achieved something similar to what you’re saying,” the Gate Master said.
“Really?” Kent’s eyes lit up.
This theory was something Jest once thought of when he was looking for a way to keep moving. So, if that was the case, why not try it?
It was a long shot, but it seemed he would make headway, considering someone had already achieved something similar.
Just like that, without them knowing, they started to develop an interest they both could talk extensively about.
Kent was now talking to the Gate master who wasn’t thinking about cutting of his arms and perhaps, his dick.
“Yes. This person was a darkness elemental user. So when she started thinking of what you are thinking now, she began to experiment. And she had her breakthrough.

The darkness element is a force on its own. There are many ways to use it, so she harnessed one of those forces and imbued it into her intent.
So, this powerful force influences the intent whenever she pulls out her sword and emits her intent. So, in a way, she did something similar to what you are saying now. But that was her using an element.
Your thinking, the reason why I said it is just imagination, is because you are just thinking of what can be there, but not what is.
If you somehow manage to incorporate time into your intent, that would be good, but do you know how time works…”
The Gate Master was thorough. She knew this should be said to Kent so he would not waste his two days inside the garden.
“But imagination is just a way for us to create something great. I may not know how time works yet, but I have thousands of years ahead of me to figure it out. So I wouldn’t give up just yet.”
Kent’s resolve was firm.
“You’re either a madman or a genius. Either way, I can’t deny that your words have sparked something in me. If you truly believe this is possible, then perhaps the Sword Garden is the place to start.
But know this, Kent—if you’re wrong, you’ll only waste your time. And if you’re right… well, you might just change the way we cultivate our sword intents, perhaps creating something new.”
A small smile appeared on her face as she said that. Kent had indeed sparked something she had long given up on within her.
“You should smile more, Gate Master. Those dimples should be put on display more,” Kent said, smiling at her cute expression, which vanished instantly, replaced by a glare.
“The gate is open. Know that after two days, you will be teleported outside regardless of what you are doing in there. I will wait for you here.”
Kent nodded and flew toward the waterfall. The moment he passed through, he appeared inside the cave and slowly entered the garden through a portal.
