Chapter 338: The Pitiful Evil Bat
The battle ended, and everyone left.
Kent was taken away by Kaizo, who had orders from his master to take him away and out of sight before they entered the tower.
So, he flew him many miles away and landed atop a tall mountain. A few seconds later, the battle dolls arrived, and Kent sent them straight to the tower.
He himself appeared inside the Body Tower, where he immediately entered a herbal bath Akira had prepared. He passed out the next second.
Kaizo appeared inside the Legion Tower, where he immediately meditated and began to recover. The battle was beyond their capabilities, yet they had to brave the danger, and it paid off.
Aside from the dozens of Transcendent bodies, they had also defeated a Root Sovereign. The result couldn’t have been any better than this.
A few seconds after Kent passed out, his bloodied body now submerged in the herbal bath, all his ladies except Alina and Vexthra appeared inside the room he was in.
Akira deemed it necessary to bring them, considering Kent wouldn’t be waking up any time soon. Watching the ladies’ panicked expressions, she knew they wouldn’t be at peace until they saw him.
“Master will be unconscious for a while, but don’t worry, he will be fine. He just needs time to recover,” Akira said to the teary-eyed ladies now surrounding Kent’s bath.
“Thank you, Akira,” Selene said, taking off Kent’s shirt.
“I will be here if you need anything,” Akira said before vanishing from the Body Tower and returning to the tower’s core, where Gaia was busy at work.
Kent had his bones broken to such an extent that, had he not stepped into the path of body cultivation, recovery would have been a headache.
Thankfully, he is not a human but a dragon and a body cultivator. This granted him all the qualities needed to recover from such injuries.
So, he was recovering. Meanwhile, on the outside, chaos had erupted.
The Evil Bat, one of the most feared figures on the Human Continent, was now being hunted. Strangely, the one doing the hunting was a replica of himself, linked to his life.
The sudden turn of events took everyone by surprise.
Kent had unleashed a copy of the Evil Bat against him, and from what he said, the only way the Evil Bat could be free was to kill the copy himself. If someone else helped him, he would die along with the copy.
However, nobody had any reason to help him. They all wanted him dead, and the last thing Kent said that piqued their interest was that if someone else killed the copy, the real body would also die.
This was like an open invitation for all those wronged by the Evil Bat to go after the copy.
Dozens went after him. Thankfully, the Evil Sect, who heard word of the sudden turn of events, deployed dozens of Root Transcendents and Ascendants to come to their sect master’s aid.
It ended in a clash between those who wanted the bat dead and those who wanted him alive. A classic royal rumble.
In the end, dozens died from both sides. It reached a point where, instead of protecting just their master, they were forced to protect the copy of their master as well.
If the copy dies, their master would die making all of their efforts end in vain.
Evil Bat, who was severely injured by the copy, was now on his last leg. If he didn’t enter the territory of the Evil Sect, he would die, sparking a frenzy that would sweep across the entire Four Kingdoms.
For five long days, Evil Bat had to use all his trump cards and every ounce of his strength to keep going. Thankfully, he finally made it inside the territory of the Evil Sect, which his pursuers didn’t dare enter.
They knew entering his domain would be like entering the den of a tiger. They are not that desperate yet…at least when their numbers were still limited.
But by the end of the fifth day, thousands from the Evil Sect had died, dealing them a devastating blow and setting them back by many hundreds of years.
However, their worries were far from over.
Kent had promised to eradicate them, and as someone who never breaks his promises, he would do everything in his power to fulfil that vow.
But while the Evil Sect was in panic mode, at the entrance of the Divine Palace Sect, hundreds of people were currently seeking out Kent.

Some were family heads coming to plead for the stupidity of their underlings, thinking they could go against anyone without consequence.
Others came to ask for the space rings around the fingers of some family heads and powerhouses.
Those space rings contained their assets, and they wanted them back. If not, their entire generations will come to an end, unfortunately.
In all, more than a hundred wanted to see him, but Kent was nowhere to be found. In fact, aside from the Master of the Archer Gate telling them to wait for him, nobody else came to talk to them.
Away from the chaos, Alina, who still hadn’t gone inside the tower simply because Lady Lani never let her out of her sight, was now on her way to the sect with her boss.
She had given the Ambrosia Apple to her, and Lady Lani consumed it before her. For seven days, she was in a meditative state.
When she finally woke up, her spirit roots, which had been at the Platinum stage, had advanced to the Dark Gold stage. This filled her with so much happiness.
Immediately, she wanted to meet Kent.
Alina, who knew Kent wasn’t at the sect, tried to convince Lady Lani to wait until the Pill Master Competition, which was 19 days away.
However, the lady was too enthusiastic to meet her benefactor and insisted they go. So, they were now headed to the sect, where they would wait for him to return, even if it took a month.
Alina, of course, saw where this was going, but she was more than happy to let it play out. She could only follow Lady Lani and act like her sister, knowing they would soon be sister wives.
Meanwhile, 15 days after the battle, things for the Evil Sect still hadn’t stabilized.
They kept getting attacked every now and then, keeping them on high alert. Their sect master, who had managed to escape the clone, was now in seclusion.
But the clone was nearby, ready to attack the moment he came out. It wouldn’t go after others unless they attacked it first.
Of course, the sect members wouldn’t do that, as they were waiting for their sect master to level up so he could finally gain the upper hand.
They also cannot attack the Clone simply because they cannot, and second, they wouldn’t dare, considering doing so would be aiding their master, who would die when the clone dies.
Then again, if only they knew that the moment Evil Bat reached the second level, the clone would also advance; perhaps they would have given up and run for their lives.
The day the sect master died would be the day they all knew despair.
