“Big sister Mara, you and Camilla should free the ladies,” Selene said, and then she took her battle form.

The slaughter began.

But it would end sooner than they expected.

Kent appeared inside a large space, and that was when he came face to face with the sect master, who was activating an artefact.

“You can’t run, Sect Master. Just give up and accept your death,” Kent said as he brought out Saden, Kaizo, and the three Soul Sentinels.

They leapt into action and began slaughtering the minions surrounding them.

In fact, Kent hadn’t expected the mission to go this smoothly, especially considering the look of panic on the sect master’s face.

What he didn’t know, however, was that Sylara had done more than release her presence. She had used a skill that consumed all the Root Transcendent stage minions under the sect master’s control.

An item appeared in his palm, which, if looked at closely, resembled the one the sect master had used.

“You can run, but you can’t hide.” His smile widened, and then, like a ghost, he and Kaizo vanished.

The next second, they appeared atop a mountain with a vast sea on one side and a dense forest on the other.

The sect master, who had managed to escape, now found himself face-to-face with Kent once again.

“Well then, Kaizo, do you want to go first?”
