Chapter 375: Finally Rescued
A few seconds before Kent and Kaizo went after the sect master…
“Ingrid, don’t let any of these filthy creatures get close to our sisters,” Neomi, now in her War Princess form, said as she unleashed a powerful swing of her spear, sending dark beams of energy.
Upon impact, the creatures’ bodies were reduced to dust.
But she wasn’t idle. She was on the move, embodying the essence of a war princess. She was killing the creatures faster than Lilian, Unity, Ingrid, and Elsa could keep up.
“This is just too much. I’m even scared of her,” Elsa muttered.
They formed a barrier around their sisters, who were currently overwhelmed with emotions as they stared at Nara and Zaila.
They were fighting against the swarming creatures emerging in overwhelming numbers.
The sect master, startled by the sudden resistance, commanded all his creatures to swarm the ladies. He knew he could escape but wouldn’t want the ladies telling the whole world he was an evil cultivator.
So he set loose his minions to come after the ladies and get rid of them.
However, Neomi wasn’t giving them any chance. She moved like the wind, her movements smooth and swift, and her killing was devastating, to say the least.
Among all her sisters, aside from Vexthra, who is a goddess, Neomi is the next most monstrous. And right now, they were all watching her kill like a machine.
“Void Devouring!” Ingrid’s eyes shone, and the void cracked, swallowing five monsters whole. They reappeared through another path, away from the one Neomi was fighting on.
Mara, Camilla, Nara, and Zaila were not in the right mindset to do anything, as their emotions were on another wavelength. They stood there, staring at each other, unable to help themselves.
Mara and Camilla, now face-to-face with Nara and Zaila, couldn’t help but let their tears run down their faces.
“Big sister,” Mara muttered, staring at her sister, who was also shedding her fair share of tears.
“Zaila,” Camilla called out to her disciple, who was making crying sounds despite a tube still stabbed through her neck.
“Master… is that really you? I’m not hallucinating, right?” Zaila asked, unwilling to accept the answer if it wasn’t what she hoped for.
“It’s me, Zaila. It’s your useless master who couldn’t even protect you from evil,” Camilla broke down then and there.
Her guilt for trusting the sect master and letting Zaila fall under his wing was something she had regretted for years. Now, seeing her in chains and being used as a blood bank, she was utterly shattered by the sight.
She couldn’t handle it.
“Ladies, while the crying and shedding tears are all cute and touching, why don’t we rescue them first?” Neomi, who had taken on her Rakshasa form, said with no emotion whatsoever in her eyes.
She was as cold as ice. That was her nature, and she was living it.
But what she said was indeed sound advice. Standing beside Camilla, Selene swung her sword, and like cutting through butter, the chains binding the cages were severed. She took another swing, and the cages were opened.
“Let’s do it slowly, else the tubes will hurt them,” Val, the only normal human among the ladies, said as she carefully removed them.
Lilian, Unity, and Ingrid are already engaged in combat with Selene, Elsa, and Val, helping the two caged ladies.
“Selene, take them away,” Neomi instructed, and Selene nodded. She then turned to Elsa, who knew her soul-healing abilities would be needed.
Elsa could tell their soul energy was depleted, so she joined Selene and the two gate masters to take the ladies into the Harem tower.
The moment they were gone, Neomi started issuing orders.
Uncle Drew and Veydris stand on the side while Sylara fights somewhere away.
“Lilian, you and Unity should take that way. I’ll handle this one, while Ingrid takes care of the last opening,” Neomi said, ready for action.

“Hey, what about me?” Val, who was left standing, asked.
“Oh, you’re still here? Then take the other opening. But I’m not sure any creatures will come from there, considering Ingrid has already cleared it,” Neomi smiled despite being in her War Princess form.
“You…” Val pouted, not getting any of the action.
Selene and Elsa left with the four ladies, while Unity and Lilian moved together, leaving only Val behind.
“Val, don’t mind her. Just free the beasts in the cages. If they’re beyond saving, end them quickly,” Unity said to the arrogant Sword Saintess.
“At least one of you is still sensible,” Val chuckled and sped away.
Like the warrior she was, Neomi smirked and moved swiftly, killing the creatures left behind by the sect master. Ingrid and the rest of her sisters were doing their best to handle their share of the creatures.
Ultimately, it took them less than five minutes to kill everything, considering Sylara had already taken care of the Transcendent-level creatures. They only had to deal with the small fries.
“Are they all dead?” Unity asked. Ingrid nodded after using her void eyes to scan the entire cave.
“However, there are some treasures hidden within this cave. We should collect them for Kent,” Ingrid said. The three ladies with her nodded, and they left to investigate what she was referring to.
Meanwhile, Val managed to dispose of all the beasts inside the cages. She could tell they were suffering and would continue to suffer if she freed them. So, she ended their misery and stood staring at the large cauldron filled with blood.
“That is something evil,” Unity said when she, Lilian, Ingrid, and Neomi appeared at the scene.
“Indeed. Should we destroy it?” Lilian asked.
“No. Let’s wait for Kent to decide,” Ingrid answered. “But let’s collect the other treasures.” They moved away and began gathering anything they deemed valuable.
Inside the Harem Tower, Nara and Zaila were now passed out and submerged in the Yin pool, with Mara and Camilla beside them, ensuring they would wake up surrounded by people rather than in a cage.
Elsa and Selene stood in front of the pool, silently staring at them.
“They really suffered,” Elsa said. She could sense their shaken spirits thanks to her high affinity for the soul. For someone to have a shaken soul meant they had endured immense pain.
Nara was a Root Sage at the 7th level when she was captured, but now she had regressed to a Root Great Sage at the 4th level.
Zaila, who was at the 3rd level of the Sage stage, had also regressed to level 5 Root Great Sage.
Zaila had been turned into a blood bank over two decades ago, while Nara had endured this torment for over six decades.
It was a miracle Nara had only regressed one stage. This also highlighted her extraordinary talent, as she had found the will to continue cultivating despite her dire circumstances. However, this did not diminish the pain they had endured.
“I hope Kent and Kaizo torture that bastard for an entire day,” Selene said, clenching her fist as she imagined the pain she would inflict on the sect master if given the chance.
“Knowing Kent, I’m sure we’d even feel bad for the bastard if we witnessed what he’s doing to him right now.”
“He deserves it. It’s too bad these two ladies won’t get the chance to kill him themselves,” Elsa said, turning to look at Selene.
They both nodded and then Selene communicated with Neomi, who accepted their proposal.
Back atop the mountain where the battle had taken place, Sect Master Victor was riddled with holes. His body was pierced in numerous places, his left eye gouged out, and both legs broken and bent at unnatural angles.
Upon closer inspection, his right hand was missing its fingers, which appeared to have been pulled out from the bones.
His left ear was severed, and the corners of his mouth had been cut, giving him a grotesque, joker-like appearance.
Kent, the architect of this torturous ordeal, looked at his handiwork and smiled.
“I want to kill you, but that would be mercy. So why don’t I—”
Cracked
Kent was about to send him into the tower prison when the space cracked open, and four ladies appeared through it.
“Kent dear, why don’t you hand him over to us,” Neomi said with a smile while Ingrid closed the void.
“Lilian, do it.”
