Chapter 378: Additional Rewards
First, Kent now has over 10 Dungeon Master Cards that will allow him to claim over 10 dungeons after he clears every last floor.
This also means the moment he clears all floors and claims them. He will have the chance to summon all the last-floor bosses later in combat.
Obviously, Kent knew this was the universe trying to make him an offer he couldn’t refuse—and damn, he wouldn’t reject such an offer.
Having the ability to summon the last floor boss of any dungeon cleared was something any cultivator would die for.
However, he only has one burning question that he needs an answer to.
“Gaia,” he called.
The cosmic loli appeared, along with her sister Akira. They seemed to be in the middle of a squabble but quickly became attentive when they materialized.
Kent just shook his head, watching their expressions. They are the oldest in the universe, yet they behave like children.
“Tell me, Gaia. After claiming a dungeon—say, a Tier ‘A’ dungeon where the last-floor boss is at the Peak Root Transcendent stage—would this floor boss rise to the Root Ascension stage if I upgrade the dungeon later?
I have the means to upgrade dungeons yet to be claimed, so there should be a way to upgrade those already claimed, right?”
Kent was a greedy bastard.
He knew a Transcendent could be helpful to him in this low-level world.
However, the moment he transcended to a higher world or found himself on a quest in a higher world, a Transcendent wouldn’t be much use to him.
This meant he would have to discard the dungeons after leaving this world.
But he didn’t want to do that.
The dungeons, he would claim, would serve as training grounds for his undead, wives, and legion. He knew his forces would soon number in the hundreds, and he would need a way to train them.
These dungeons would come in handy.
But, as with the quest that just ended, when Sylara appeared, the battle was over. So, obviously, he wanted dungeons where he could let someone like Sylara face opponents she couldn’t slack off against.
Upgrading claimed dungeons was the next best thing he could hope for.
If he could keep upgrading the dungeons, then that means he would never run out of training grounds.
⟪Master shouldn’t worry. When you claim your first dungeon, you will know how to upgrade it. Of course, as a spoiler, you will need millions in Tower Points, so don’t worry too much about that.⟫
“In that case, why don’t I upgrade the Dungeon Seeker Card from Tier A to Tier S, so I can have ten dungeons with last-floor bosses at the Peak Root Ascension stage?”
He upgraded the card, and a smile appeared on his face.
“I now have this card that will give me access to ten dungeons, another Tier S card, and now, another reward for a Tier SS card. This means I can claim 11 Tier S Rank Dungeons and an SS Rank dungeon.”
⟪Congratulations, Master,⟫ both Gaia and Akira said, smiling.
Kent smiled and retrieved the Undead Schematic Creator cards and the Undead Schematic cards—four of them—and gave them to Akira.
“You already know what to do.” Akira smiled and stored away the cards, causing Gaia to look at her with a narrowed expression.
Akira just shrugged her off.
If Gaia was free, he would have perhaps shared it among them. But because she has two more training towers to work on, Akira will have all four cards.
“By the way, Gaia, will the tower city be ready by the time the two ladies wake up?” Kent asked.

⟪It’s ready, Master. You told me to get it done before the rescue mission, so I got it done. We can explore it after you are done checking your rewards and the rest of the messages.⟫
Kent nodded and then focused on the rest of the rewards.
“A new memory key for my memories of another life, huh? That is rather convenient. I can finally know more about my dragon side and how it will affect my cultivation.” Kent smiled.
⟪Congratulations once again, Master. With this key, you will realize your potential as a Chaos Dragon.⟫
Gaia smiled. This was her moment because she was obsessed with the Chaos Dragon when Kent used the first key. She wanted to see him become a dragon…
Now, her dream was about to be realized.
Kent ignored her and focused on the most important reward of them all. Perhaps he should have checked that first.
⟪Celestial Dew of Rebirth⟫
→ A dew collected from the Celestial Fruit of Rebirth. Drinking it will make one undergo rebirth.
→ Those who drink it gain a purified soul, removing past weaknesses, and their potential skyrockets, allowing them to break past previous limits effortlessly.
“Wow. If this is just the dew, then what would the main fruit look and behave like?” Obviously, Kent turned to Gaia, who just smirked.
⟪I am a cosmic weaver, Master, but the universe still regulates me, and as such, not everything can be taken by me. So don’t look at me like that.
If you want a Celestial Fruit of Rebirth, go to the Celestial Gardens. I’m sure that bitch guarding the place will be happy to see you.⟫
Kent could see the teasing on her face, so he knew she was being serious yet nonchalant. This made him start to think about the Celestial Garden.
If only he knew the dangers surrounding that place, he would have sympathized with the God of Alchemy, who was an unfortunate victim there a couple of hundred thousand years ago.
But since he doesn’t know that, he will only learn it the hard, hard way one of these days. Perhaps that will set him straight…
“Akira, send these two dews to Selene. She should give them to Nara and Zaila. Since their souls and foundations are shaken, this will be a great help for them.”
Akira took the two dews in a jade bottle and vanished.
She appeared inside the harem tower, where the ladies were now inside the pool, attending to the two ladies.
“Master said you should give this to the two ladies,” Akira handed the bottles to Selene.
“What is he doing now?” Neomi asked.
“Let’s just say Master plans to go to a place he shouldn’t. But since we want to see him suffer for a moment, we won’t stop him,” Akira smiled, causing the ladies to raise their eyebrows.
“Just don’t send him somewhere he can’t return to us in one piece,” Neomi said. Akira nodded to her words and vanished back to Kent, who was about to review the next quest he must embark on.
The moment he opened it, his smile froze.
