“They look peaceful.”

Selene said, standing a few meters away as she and her sisters gazed at Kent and Zaila, who were hugging each other as they slept inside the Mountain Garden.

The night was supposed to be for Camilla, but she was more than happy to give it to Zaila, who was having a hard time adjusting.

She couldn’t even close her eyes and sleep.

So watching her sleep peacefully in Kent’s arms made the ladies very happy.

“I knew Kent would have a way to get her to calm down and sleep. He really is the best,” Ingrid said with a proud smile. She was the one who made Kent aware of Zaila’s predicament.

“You ladies shouldn’t wake them up. Let their budding love bloom,” Vexthra, who was smiling in the god realm, said to her sisters. Though she wasn’t there in person, it felt as if she could see them.

“We should probably leave before they wake up. This may look simple, but I can already imagine what will happen when they do,” Selene giggled, already picturing all kinds of perverted thoughts.

“You never think of anything good—always perverted thoughts,” Neomi said to her sister, making Selene smile slyly.

However, after standing there for a while, they left.

A few minutes after they were gone, Zaila opened her eyes and stared at Kent’s sleeping face, which was right in front of her.

Her heartbeat quickened for a second, but seeing that she was hugging him and he was hugging her, she sighed. With a small smile, she buried her face in his chest and went back to sleep.

There were no nightmares that night, so she slept soundly.

When she woke up again, she was still hugging Kent, who was still asleep. But she made no effort to separate herself from him.

Feeling his breath on her neck, she couldn’t help but blush. However, a few minutes after she woke up, Kent also opened his eyes and looked at the lady staring back at him.

“Your master was more than happy to give her time to you. If she hadn’t, I would have abandoned you and gone to her,” Kent said with a laugh, causing Zaila to pout.

“I will report you to the ladies,” Zaila spoke like a spoiled child.

“You mean your sisters,” Kent corrected.

“Whose sisters? I am not one of your women,” Zaila shrugged.

“Yet. You are not one of them ‘yet.’ But that will change soon enough.” He pulled her closer, and Zaila made no attempt to pull back.

“I-I will not.” She tried to sound confident, but feeling Kent’s breath on her chest, she lost her composure.

Naturally, her heartbeat started to rise, and that dreamy, honeyed look began to spread across her eyes. Kent just smiled and lifted her up.

“What are you doing?” Zaila asked.

“We are going for a swim,” Kent answered before he started flying off the mountain. Zaila wrapped her arms around his neck as if she were afraid of falling.

Kent just smiled and flew toward a certain warm pool, perfect for the morning.

“I don’t have any swimwear here.” Zaila, who had been in nightwear throughout their time yesterday, was now at a crossroads.

That gown wasn’t meant for swimming, since things would get much livelier the moment she stepped into the water.

“Who cares about swimwear? It’s just you and me here, and naturally, I’m looking forward to seeing the outcome of you getting wet.” His smile was perverted, making Zaila blush.

Perhaps he and Selene are the perverts.

“Can’t you be more subtle?”

“Why should I when I know exactly what I’m looking for?” Kent smirked as his shirt and trousers came undone before he jumped into the pool.

Zaila stood there for a moment before finally stepping into the water. The instant she did, Kent’s grin widened.

And so, the ladies continued watching as Kent and Zaila played in the water. A few minutes later, Kent wrapped his arms around her from behind, and soon enough, Little Kent began demanding attention.
