Chapter 418: Vaelros, The Crimson Tyrant {Gift Bonus Chapter}
“Master, are we going on a mission?” Kaizo asked the moment Kent arrived at the Legion Tower. It appeared he had finished his morning training.
“No. The mission won’t be for another year or so,” Kent replied, making Kaizo sigh.
“Very well, I will wait for that day.” He moved away. Kent just smiled. He had created his personality, so he knew the brute always wanted to be in a fight.
‘If he’s lucky, he’ll get some action during the Pill Master Competitions.’ Kent didn’t even want to think about that, knowing those people were shameful for targeting a harmless kid.
“Glad to see you’re still enjoying the blood,” Kent said to Sylara, who was drinking blood. This was the loot she had gathered from the battle when they went to Fedora.
They were all Root Ascension and Transcendent stage beasts, so she particularly enjoyed herself.
“I could always go for dragon blood if Master doesn’t mind.” Kent just ignored her words, knowing that although she sounded normal now, this lady was evil.
What she did to that poor Root Sovereign Stage Orc was a testament to her cruelty.
“Veydris is still not speaking, huh?” Kent smiled and moved to a spot, opening the portal to the Necro Forge. The moment it opened, Gaia, Akira, and Dori appeared.
“Typical,” Kent smirked, and then they entered. The moment they arrived inside the forge, their gaze landed on an eight-meter-tall mountain of a man.
“Damn, Akira, where did you get such an idea from?” Kent asked, knowing this mountain of a man had been created using the Undead Schematic Creator.
She designed him from scratch.
“An artist doesn’t disclose her secrets,” Akira giggled. Kent just looked at her for a moment before returning his gaze to the towering figure.
“Tell me he can reduce his size,” Kent muttered. “Vaelros, can you come down so we short peasants can talk face-to-face with you?”
Since he was the master of the forge, he automatically knew the newcomer’s name and titles. They hadn’t set a name, but the one given was to his liking, so he chose to keep it.
The one before him, though a Peak Root Ascension stage expert like Sylara, possessed an aura alone strong enough to crush anyone below the Root Sovereign stage.
Just staring up at him felt suffocating.
Vaelros nodded and shrank until he was two meters tall. Still, Kent felt like a child before him, though he was now less imposing.
Vaelros was a unique one. He was extremely muscular, built like a god of war. His arms were thick enough to squeeze the life out of anyone, and judging by his expression, he would enjoy doing just that.
He had pale white skin with dark red, glowing cracks running across it, perfectly designed as if his body were containing raw energy. The design was elegant—worthy of being crafted by a cosmic weaver.
Akira had poured her heart into the design. His crimson, glowing eyes were so intense that even Kent found it difficult to look at them directly.
Naturally, Akira and her sisters stood behind him, laughing inwardly. This was their doing.
Vaelros was already demonic-looking, so giving him such an evil personality was something they really shouldn’t have done.
[Intimidation]
That was the personality trait affecting Kent now.
“Hey, dude, I am your boss, okay? So while the intimidation is working, just know that if I unleash my dragon side now, you’ll be running to your mama in tears.”
Even Kent laughed at his own words. He might be the Chaos Dragon, but since the universe was on Akira’s side, Vaelros had managed to intimidate him for a few seconds.
But when that intimidation faded, Kent’s gaze landed on the thick, curved black horns protruding from Vaelros’s forehead, further enhancing his demonic appearance.
‘Very intimidating. Just what was Akira thinking when she designed him?’ Kent wondered.
Vaelros has white hair that flows down his shoulders. Tying it in a ponytail would suit him well. His body was littered with arcane, blood-red tattoos.

His hands were large and clawed, capable of tearing through steel. From the waist down, he was wrapped in a loose white battle cloth, tied by an infernal sash decorated with metallic skull emblems.
“So, what can you tell me about yourself?” Kent asked.
“I am built for battle. So whenever there is a fight, don’t hesitate to call me. I don’t care how large or how dangerous.”
“That is noble of you.” Kent laughed. “I mean, do you have any hobbies?”
“Indeed. I love to fight, kill, and slaughter.”
“Bruh.” Kent turned and looked at Akira, who smiled and gave him the ‘You get what you get’ look.
“Never mind. Then can you tell me what you need to keep growing?” Since this brute had no real hobbies—just like his other teammates—he wouldn’t bother asking again.
Killing wasn’t a hobby.
If a being considered it as one, then he might just be recruiting freaks into his legion. First, there was Kaizo, who was always hungry for battle. Then Sylara, who took joy in torturing her opponents.
And now, there was Vaelros.
“I can grow stronger by consuming the bodies of my kills—their flesh, blood, and core. But just their heart is enough for me.”
“I see. You and Sylara will have to come to an agreement on the blood part. Just don’t kill each other during the negotiation.”
Kent didn’t bother with anything else and instead focused on Vaelros’s personality traits.
Domineering
Cunning
Loyal
Battle-Hungry
Merciless
Cold & Calculating
Intimidation
These were his defining qualities. Aside from loyalty, none of them were what one would call good traits for a person to have.
Kent took one last look at Vaelros before sending him away to meet the others.
Vaelros was a behemoth like none other. Though he has Lightning and Abyssal affinity, making his connection to blood run deep.
Unlike Kaizo, who relied on his fists, Vaelros wielded chains. A colossal chain served as his weapon—one that expanded and contracted at his command.
From what Kent had read, he even possessed a berserk-type skill that could transform him into a tyrant of raw power when activated.
The cost? An intense hunger for blood. But that could easily be managed.
With Vaelros sent away, Kent was ready to create the fourth undead.
