Chapter 519: Envoy of the Mother of Killers [Bonus]
Sitting at the core of the Universe, the beautiful lady smirked, which soon turned into a cute little laughter.
“This brat, how can he always find ways to make a joke where he is required to be serious?” she said to herself, watching Kent smile at the four figures.
“They should kick his ass to teach him a lesson.” She could only wish, but her wish could not change anything unless she intervened, which, in that case, would cause more harm than good.
So, since that was the case, she could only watch the amusement Kent was giving her and laugh to her heart’s content.
Back in the Dead Region, Tribe Chief Malthar extended his finger, causing a blood-type energy to appear on it, locking onto Kent’s body.
“Are you mocking our god?” he asked, looking coldly at Kent.
The three elders weren’t taking the sudden comment from Kent too simply. Farra retrieved a whip made of metallic rope, while Zarka pulled his sword from its sheath.
As for Ureth, his fists were coated in the same red energy as Tribe Chief Malthar’s finger.
“Who said I was mocking your god? Do you think I am that stupid?” Kent wasn’t showing any sign of panic, knowing that he could easily escape when it came to it.
The quest clearly stated that the end justifies the means. He could save the Bloodvein Tribe regardless of whether they let him into their domain.
“You clearly stated you are the envoy of our god. Do you think anyone would believe that? Our tribe has followed and upheld the teachings of our god and mother for thousands of years.
In those thousands of years, a male envoy of our god has never been mentioned. So, do you also think we are stupid?”
‘Well, I totally forgot the 13 Guards of Rakshasa are all women.’ Kent smiled in his head.
Shara, the mother of killers, later became Rakshasa, the Scarlet Fang—the Daughter of Battle. It was then that she picked the 13 guards who ensured her name and teachings never died, even to this day.
So naturally, her followers would know of the 13 guards, meaning he had made a blunder choosing to enter the tribe as an envoy.
‘I should have taken on the appearance of a lady. That would have solved everything.’ Kent smiled, knowing his next words would determine whether he would escape or enter the domain of the Bloodvein Tribe.
“I don’t care whether you believe me or not. But I am the envoy of the Mother of Killers, and she sent me here to save you from a calamity that will soon befall you.
Whether you believe me or not, I am here at her command, and as such, I will do just that. I have no beef with any of you, so be sure to take that to heart before you make your next move.”
He ended his sentence with a smile while waiting for the attacks. However, after five minutes, none of the four Bloodveins attacked.
This gave him their answer.
“I know you still don’t believe me, but I am not lying. I was sent here to help your tribe.
Now, as to whether we can sit down and talk peacefully, you have to know that I wasn’t lying when I said I am an envoy from the Mother of Killers.
She sensed your fate and felt your pain, so she sent me here to help. I want no trouble with your kind, so even if you don’t want me in your domain, I only ask that you don’t come against me when I start making my moves.
It would be great if we fought on the same side. But if you don’t want that, I can complete my mission without your intervention.”
The three elders turned to the Tribe Leader, waiting for his judgment.
“You are right. We don’t trust you. However, that doesn’t mean we will become hostile and turn you away.”
“Even if there is the slightest chance you are telling the truth, we wouldn’t want to invoke the wrath of our god by killing you.
So we will take you to our tribe, where you will be questioned. If the outcome is satisfactory, we will listen to you again.”
Kent smiled, hearing the Tribe Leader say that. “That’s the spirit. Now, why don’t you lead the way?”
“Not so fast,” Elder Farra said, appearing before Kent. Her whip moved, and before he could react, his hands were bound by the metallic rope.

A powerful Chaos energy entered the whip, creating a rather intense binding force around Kent.
“If you don’t resist, you won’t feel any pain,” Elder Farra said, staring coldly at him.
Kent just smiled. “Oh, trust me, I have no plans of resisting.”
His smile wasn’t because anything was funny—no, it was more due to the message that appeared before him.
⟪Your comprehension of Chaos Qi has improved moderately⟫
‘Her Chaos Qi is much more potent than the five guards,’ Kent said inwardly as he was lifted off the ground and began flying toward the tribe.
He was circulating his blood, absorbing the constant stream of Chaos Qi running through the whip. Sadly, the flight was so fast that it took them just five minutes to arrive.
For a region famous for being one of the most dangerous places in the world, they sure were living in a rather luxurious setting.
Though not as majestic as the outside world, they had solid buildings, and the design wasn’t bad. The tribe was located in a valley with a river of blood running through both sides.
Kent didn’t want to offend anyone, so he refrained from using his senses. When they arrived at the tribe, every single gaze turned in their direction. They were all staring at Kent, who was bound by Elder Farra’s whip.
“Who is that?” many began to ask, but the elders and the Tribe Chief flew straight toward a larger, castle-like building.
Kent, now the center of attention, could only watch the thousands of Bloodveins, all of whom had red skin and, most notably, red hair.
Of course, some had deeper shades of red skin than others, but they all shared that crimson tone.
Kent and the elders arrived at the Bloodvein Tribe’s palace, which they entered through a tall door. The moment they stepped in, Elder Farra freed Kent, making him sit on a chair.
“Summon the Priestess,” Tribe Chief Malthar commanded, and a guard went running.
