Chapter 523: Comprehending Chaos Qi
Kent’s understanding of Chaos Qi started to rise just by breathing, shocking him. Velyra noticed his surprised look, so she addressed it.

“This house is right atop a major source of Chaos energy underground. This is why the Chaos energy here is very potent,” she explained, and Kent nodded.

“Lucky me, I guess.” His smile said it all; he was happy, and Velyra could see that.

“You can head down as your comprehension progresses. However, with only the few days you requested, I doubt you’ll be able to do much.

Also, know that you can’t force it, since cultivating in a highly concentrated space with a low comprehension level can cause your body to explode.”

Kent smiled and then responded, “I know, and don’t worry. I have no plans to kill myself by jumping into the dense chaos energy.”

Of course, he knew he wouldn’t die even if the concentration were much more potent. His bloodline is much more potent…

But he can’t reveal that, so he can only use the baby steps formula to get what he wants.

Velyra didn’t say anything. She just turned to her left and formed an orb that flew and touched the walls of the room, creating a protection barrier around the room.

“I have sealed the room, so don’t worry about getting disturbed. In that case, I will be heading down,” Velyra said before walking away.

Kent didn’t want to use his Enchanted eyes on her after what happened the first time, so he just let her go. But he could tell by a glance that she was at a high comprehension stage.

This made her much more dangerous than she appeared.

Unlike her father, who had already attained five evolutions and a very high level of Chaos Qi comprehension, she had only achieved three evolutions.

It’s not that Kent underestimated her, but he knew she couldn’t kill him, at least not as easily as he might want it to happen.

Kent sat down and started cultivating. He had four days to spare before he started making his moves, which meant he had just four days to take his comprehension to the next level or higher.

Seven hours later, Kent stopped receiving the messages, meaning the Chaos Qi in his space wasn’t affecting him anymore, so he moved to a new spot.

The path leading to the ground level was large and cozy enough for him to cultivate, so he moved a couple of steps down, sat, and resumed his cultivation.

This time, it took him just three hours to move again. Soon, he was steadily moving down toward the source.

Meanwhile, deep underground, Velyra had stepped into a pool of blood and started cultivating. She was now out of her baggy gown and only in a thin gown that clung to her skin when she entered the pool.

This, of course, accentuated her curves, highlighting her hourglass shape. Her baggy gown had really done her dirty, considering that her chest and backside were rather pronounced.

She had much bigger breasts and a figure that could turn heads regardless of gender. If Kent had to compare, he would say she was getting close to Mara’s stage.

Alina was still undefeated in the ass department, but Velyra was rather pronounced in all the right places.

She sat there with her eyes closed, comprehending the Chaos Qi, hoping to make a breakthrough before the battle arrived in a week.

Like Kent, after a couple of hours, she moved deeper into the pool, showing steady progress, though not at the same level as Kent.

This was because Kent’s bloodline was very potent, and thanks to his natural affinity for Chaos energy, he was basically progressing at a speed that defied common sense.

Two days later, the pool came into view, but Kent still hadn’t reached the Medium Level. That didn’t mean he hadn’t made progress.

His strength and speed, however, had increased by leaps and bounds.

He didn’t know how any of it was possible, but the more he comprehended the Chaos Qi, the more it felt like he was adding points to his speed and strength.

However, no matter how often he checked his status page, his stats remained the same. This made him wonder whether just 9% of his bloodline could be this monstrous.

What would happen when he reached 20%, 30%, or even 50%? As for complete awakening, he would leave that to everyone’s imagination.

Two and a half days in, he was standing right in front of the pool.

Velyra, who had moved eight steps deeper into the pool, turned and looked at Kent with a shocked expression.

“How are you here already?” she asked.

“The Chaos energy out there is no longer having any effect on me, so I came here to try my luck,” Kent replied with his usual smile.

Not that Velyra was smiling. “Just how is this possible? It usually takes years to even step inside this space, yet you’re telling me you used less than three days to accomplish that?

Even I needed a whole year to get here, and I was considered a genius among geniuses. Just who are you, and what are you made of?”

She was in shock and had every right to be, considering that what Kent had just accomplished couldn’t be taken lightly.

“Let’s just say I’m built differently. Now, can I step in and cultivate?”

“Take your clothes off and then enter,” Velyra responded, still not able to digest Kent’s achievement.

“Should I take everything off?” Kent asked with a smile.

“No, just your shirt and trousers. Keep your pants on.” Perhaps because her skin was red, her blush or whether she was blushing or not, remained hidden from Kent.

As for the dragon, he obeyed and removed his clothes. Velyra, who was staring at him, took a gulp when the perfectly sculpted body came into view.

Kent was a Gold Body Cultivator, so his physical physique was one that could take any woman aback and perhaps tug at their heartstrings.

Of course, while his abs were perfect, Velyra had to quickly turn away when her eyes landed on the bulge in Kent’s pants.

As a man blessed with the perfect dick, Velyra ran the risk of getting overwhelmed if she stared too long, even if it was hidden in his pants.

Kent chuckled when he noticed her sudden movement. But he didn’t focus much on it and rather stepped into the pool.

The moment he did, a message appeared:

⟪Your comprehension of Chaos Qi has improved greatly⟫
