Chapter 524: Medium Level Comprehension, Helping Velyra [Bonus]
Three days passed in the blink of an eye.

All over the Bloodvein Tribe, thousands of warriors were on high alert, ready for the battle that was about to come.

They knew it would be hard, but they weren’t backing down or bowing to their enemies, even if they all

would die from this battle.

Not even their dead bodies would do that. They are prepared to die.

So they were preparing.

There were about 10,000 inhabitants in the Bloodvein Tribe. However, only 7,000 were fit to go to war.

They were protectors meant to shield the weak, so these 7,000 warriors would decide the battle yet to come.

Out of the 7000 warriors, 5000 were below the Root Transcendent stage.

1,500 were in the Root Transcendent stage, ranging from level 1 to 9, which was the peak. Naturally, they would do more than the 5,000.

However, they also didn’t have much standing in the army, considering a capable enough Root Ascension stage expert could handle dozens of them.

Among the remaining 500, 300 were Root Ascension, and 194 were Root Sovereigns. The ones left were the Tribe Chief, three elders, Velyra, and the commander of their army, who was also a Core Formation expert.

He was almost on the same level as the three elders, making him stronger than Velyra. However, even with six of them, the chances of facing double or triple those odds were just too much.

However, they were the Bloodveins. They wouldn’t hold the title of the strongest if they weren’t brave enough to go into battle against such a force.

The only upside was that the battle would happen in their domain, where they were the strongest. So, they could only wait for their enemies to come.

Meanwhile, Kent had already progressed in the pool and was now in the same spot as Velyra. His comprehension had also shown tremendous growth.

Thankfully, after three days since he started, he had finally achieved the second stage in his comprehension.

⟪Your comprehension of Chaos Qi has improved dramatically. You have reached the Medium stage.⟫

⟪You have unlocked 10% of your Bloodline.⟫

The moment these messages appeared, Kent felt his control of the chaos qi grow much stronger. His bloodline had also strengthened, taking his speed and strength to the next level.

‘I am nearing my next limit. I wonder what the tower will suggest next,’ Kent smiled, feeling his strength soar to new heights.

The first limit was broke using the golden titan stairway. Now, he started to wonder what the next thing would be required of him to break the next limit.

Velyra, who was a few steps away from Kent, sensed that something had changed about him. This caused her to pay more attention, and to her shock, Kent had made a breakthrough.

‘He has only achieved a Medium level in Chaos Qi cultivation, yet he was able to get this far into the pool. Just who is this young man?’ Velyra wondered, staring at Kent.

Kent noticed her gaze, so he turned toward her.

“You don’t mind if I go deeper?” Kent asked with a guilty smile. He knew he was asking for too much, considering he hadn’t even done anything for them yet.

However, he planned on helping them, so this was just him taking his payment in advance. Velyra nodded and focused back on her training. However, this time she started paying more attention to Kent.

To her shock, Kent moved deeper into the pool and for four hours, he continued to cultivate. He cultivated until he couldn’t go any deeper, simply because he was at the end of the pool.

He sighed and then moved back.

“This pool can’t help me anymore, unfortunately.” While Kent was looking down because his training ended abruptly, Velyra was staring at him with a shocked expression.

‘Only Father managed to get to the end, but it took him forty years. Just how monstrous is his talent? And he only reached the Medium level.’

‘Father must know about this.’

Velyra was contemplating whether to inform her father. However, before she could move, Kent spoke.

“If you don’t mind, I can help speed up your cultivation if you allow me.” Kent’s request caught her off guard.

“What do you mean by you can help me?” she asked.

“I meant it like it sounds. You’re at the ‘High level,’ even sitting at the peak. I want to help you advance to the Very High level.

This way, your strength will reach the level of the elders, despite your cultivation being below theirs.”

“Are you being serious?” she asked, half-trusting him, waiting for Kent to say he was just messing with her.

Unbeknownst to her, Kent wasn’t offering simply because he suddenly had the inspiration to do so. He offered because he had received a minor quest with a rather generous reward.

This time, he was even allowed to accept or reject the quest. He accepted it, since it was just a minor task for him. He still had a few hours left in his four-day window anyway.

“It will take just a few hours, so we’d better get started,” Kent said, moving and stopping behind her.

“Relax your body and feel my energy flow through you. Tap into that flow, and then circulate the Chaos Qi along,” he instructed.

Before she could ask a question, Kent placed both palms on her back and began channelling his energy into her body.

Velyra tried to resist at first; however, when she tried, she realised she couldn’t, so she began following the flow of energy circulating through her body.

Then, just as Kent had told her, she began circulating the Chaos Qi along the channels of Kent’s energy.

‘This is…’ To her shock, her comprehension started improving rapidly by following Kent’s flow. It took just a few minutes, but something that would have taken her months was being accomplished in mere moments.

‘Just who is this young man?’

She could only wonder. Five hours later, a wave of Chaos Qi exploded out of her body, signalling that she had finally stepped into the Very High level.

“Congratulations on your breakthrough,” Kent said with a smile, watching her examine her body as he moved back.

After a few minutes, she walked toward Kent and bowed.

“Thanks for your help. I will never forget it,” she said, but Kent just smiled and replied,

“Trust me, I will also never forget, too.”

Naturally, when Velyra bowed, the twin melons greeted Kent. As a man of culture, moments like this can never be forgotten—not even amnesia could take that memory from him.
