Chapter 607: Lady Tala
Lady Tala is a well-known name among every Foxkin living in the Emberwood Kingdom.
It’s the kingdom of the Foxkin. Unlike in Sonox, where the kingdom has many cities, Fedora has only one large city, surrounded by a wall.
Of course, they used to have smaller cities, but after the rise of the tyrant king Balma, everyone was brought into the large and well-guarded city.
Those who sided with the Orc alliance still have their smaller cities, although they also have the larger ones, where most of their powerhouses are located.
This also shows that the world of Fedora is much smaller than Sonox. However, that doesn’t make it any weaker compared to other high worlds.
Dori, who is known as Lady Tala, was what they referred to as a foreign invader in this world.
From time to time, people from other worlds come to theirs, sometimes by mistake, such as stepping into a warp in space or a damaged teleportation formation.
Since everything is within the same space and time, just a slight mistake can take a person to a different place. Of course, some come there using their own methods, just like Kent did with his World Teleporter.
Dori was once like him. However, instead of the Foxkin attacking, they took her in when she appeared. She was but a weak child, after all.
Thus, she lived in their kingdom and even became friends with Princess Lyra, the youngest princess of the Foxkins. Dori used the name Tala when she appeared in this world, so that was how she was known.
After becoming friends with Princess Lyra, she used her superior mind to help her do things that soon drew the attention of the king. Eventually, she was recognized as someone with a superior intellect, so they appointed her as an advisor.
Through her intelligence, which was mostly occupied with scheming, they made a bold move, which ultimately helped the king ascend to the stage of a Spirit Lord.
That was when her status rose from mere advisor to Supreme Advisor—Dori may have forgotten to tell Kent about that part.
But she was someone of great value to the Foxkins, so when Vexen and Ralen saw her, they immediately recognized her and quickly relieved the pressure, freeing Kent and Sword King Shawn.
“Lady Tala…” the two Foxkin shouted, looking both shocked and happy.
“No need to shout, Ralen. How is your mother, by the way?” Dori asked.
Ralen smiled and flew down, stopping when there were only a few meters between him and Dori. “My mother is doing well. She missed you, though…”
“Princess Lyra told us you had to go back to your world for a bit… everybody misses you badly.”
“Well, I am back now.” Dori smiled. “By the way, this is my ma—my brother Kent and Uncle Shawn.”
⟪Play along, master. Telling them you are my master will certainly cause you some trouble. I’m quite a big deal here.⟫
Dori said to Kent, who smirked slightly and made sure Sword King Shawn understood the assignment. Sword King Shawn nodded.
Vexen and Ralen nodded at Kent and Uncle Shawn. “Sorry about before. We are just doing our job, and since we didn’t see Lady Tala, we had to treat you as enemies.”
“Don’t worry about it…” Kent smiled. “It was a refreshing feeling.”
Though he knew he had to reach the Nirvana stage in body cultivation before he could temper his bones, the feeling he got while under the pressure of the two spirit kings made him want to feel more of that.
“How bad are things these days?” Dori asked, and the two Foxkin sighed.
“It is bad, my lady. After you left, we managed to strengthen our alliance with the Tigerkin and Catkin. However, the Orcs managed to get the Hellhounds, Lionkin, Batkin, and Rabbitkin on their side.
And the worst part, they keep attacking us almost every month.”
“It’s that bad, huh?” Dori turned and looked at Kent…
Kent smiled. “Let’s meet the king first; the rest will take care of itself later.” Dori nodded.
“Take us to King Hkum. My brother and my uncle want to have an audience with him.”

“By of course, my lady, right this way,” Vexen and Ralen began leading the way.
‘Looks like your rebel alliance isn’t doing too well, Lady Tala,’ Kent said through his connection with Dori, causing the Mind Weaver to blush.
⟪Don’t call me that, Master.⟫
‘But I will; it suits you better,’ Kent smiled, watching Dori turn and glare at him. Sword King Shawn wondered what was happening between the two of them. However, he chose to mind his own business.
⟪But they are indeed not doing well. However, since you are here now, though the odds are too much for you to handle, knowing you, I believe you can do something to help them.⟫
‘Yeah, well, Kaizo is hungry for some action, and to be frank, I also need to blow off some steam and perhaps know how much I have grown before entering seclusion.’
⟪Then that is good.⟫ Dori smiled as they moved through the forest.
Since Fedora is a world of beasts, the land is mostly forest. They have that natural way of life going on. But that doesn’t mean they don’t have a good standing when it comes to building structures.
They have towering and elegant cities with great architectural designs that can rival most human cities in Sonox. Emberwood Forest, as the Foxkin call it, is located at the center of the yellow maple leaf forest.
It’s one of the many beautiful forests in the Fedora region. Right now, Kent stood atop a mountain, looking into the distance, where a beautiful city stood mighty within the embrace of a beautiful, yellow forest.
The city is very large, and while Kent couldn’t measure it exactly, the estimated distance between them and the city is approximately 5,000 miles. But even at that vast distance, he could see a very large city rising to the sky, shining with its beauty.
“Wow, this place is beautiful.” Kent couldn’t hide his admiration.
“Indeed. It is so natural,” Uncle Shawn added.
This caused Vexen and Ralen to smile. Though they didn’t know Kent and Uncle Shawn, they knew they were related to Lady Tala (Dori), so hearing them praise their city was like hearing Lady Tala praise them.
Suddenly, a carriage pulled by wyverns appeared in the distance, speeding toward them…
‘There are wyverns here.’ Kent raised his brow.
⟪No, Master, they are arrays… complex arrays.⟫
