Chapter 611: The Request
“To be honest with you all, I asked Tala to bring me here for two reasons.
First, my uncle here is a Sword King with unlimited potential, and while I would love to say he has no equal in my world, I have seen enough to know that even with his cultivation base, he can be an asset to your cause.
I brought him here to ask if you can take him in. Don’t worry; he won’t need your resources to grow; he already has his own.
The second is that I want to personally lead my own team against one of the beasts allied with the Orcs.
That bastard may have been poisoned now, but the moment he gets the poison out, he will come after you all to finally get you under his control.
However, I want to use his absence to create so much chaos that when he is out, it will take him some time to put his alliance back on track.
Trust me, if I were you, I wouldn’t want to be clashing with them if they have such a being on their side, but seeing they don’t have much backbone now, give me the chance to ensure they think ten times before attacking your people… for the next couple of years to come.”
Kent didn’t know where the confidence was coming from, but for some reason, he wanted to go against odds so far greater than him that even people in High Worlds would fear.
Perhaps this was a result of his fabricated memories of his life as a god he received while awakening Zaila’s True Name, or the fact that with the attribute points left to allocate, he would be approaching the maximization threshold for the next limit to be broken.
The moment he added the point, the limit would appear.
While he knew this time the tower would suggest what he had to do to break it, he also knew that the moment the limit was broken, nobody in Sonox would be able to stand as his equal.
These limits he is breaking are much more valuable than anything he will ever gain to increase his strength. Kent’s confidence is just too great because he wants to test his strength.
So he wanted something dangerous to test himself, his legion, and his wives.
“I think you should let him, King Hkum. Although he may not appear to be it, he is actually very powerful. In your eyes, he may be just a level 2 Sovereign, but he has already broken a limit.”
The moment Dori said those words, everyone’s eyes in the hall widened, except Sword King Shawn, Kent, and Dori, who spoke those words.
The people in the hall were aware of these limits. It’s the same thing that helped King Hkum take such a leap in his cultivation. It is also one of the requirements before a person can become a Spirit Lord.
Basically, most gods hadn’t yet broken three limits because, from Tier One, which is the beginning of cultivation to godhood, only two realms require one to break a limit before they can ascend to the next level.
One of these realms is the Spirit Lord realm. Aside from that, the Root Immortal stage also requires a limit to be broken first.
There are many ways to reach these limits. However, they are all challenging, and even if you achieve one, the chances of successfully breaking said limits are something nobody can easily handle.
So, for a mere Sovereign to have already broken a limit is just something very shocking.
And because of what Dori said, the King, his elders, and his children started to look at Kent differently.
“It wasn’t just him; my uncle has even reached the limit, but he doesn’t know it yet.” Dori turned to Sword King Shawn.
“The reason why you are stuck at the pinnacle of the Sword King stage is because you have reached a limit which seems to have something to do with your imagination.
To progress, take your time and break your sword realm down to the basic stage, to the stage where everything started. Build it back up, and I assure you, by the time you are done, you will become a Sword Emperor.”
Yet again, the king and his people became puzzled. They just didn’t understand where these two monsters came from.
It would be fine, though shocking, if only Kent had such potential, but for Sword King Shawn to be this monstrous too, it put things into perspective for them.
They started to wonder just how many Kents were out there.
If only they knew he had loads of them inside his tower, with potential that many would kill to have even a fraction of.
“This is a delicate request, so give us some time to deliberate on it, and we will get back to you. However, regarding your uncle living here, he is welcome to stay for as long as he wants.
We will prepare a room for him and even provide a training space where he can have peace of mind to cultivate,” King Hkum said, and Kent nodded. At least one of his requests was accepted.

This showed progress.
“Thanks for accepting my request, King Hkum. I am grateful.” Kent was indeed grateful. But while Kent was indeed grateful, the Foxkins are the same, for they are aware of what swordsmen can do.
One thing about swordsmen is that they can grow endlessly regardless of their cultivation base, so they wouldn’t let go of such an asset.
Hearing he would soon be breaking his limit, they wouldn’t want to lose him, not when they are going against an alliance of five powerful Beast factions.
The odds were far greater than something they could handle, so they would spend most of their efforts ensuring that someone who would soon break a limit on themselves was well cared for.
“Arien, take Lady Tala and his family to her residence. Of course, you can follow them too, Lyra,” King Hkum said, and the white-haired princess nodded. Her little sister was even happier to hear what their father said.
She is free to play with her best friend again.
Princess Arien led Dori, Kent, and Sword King Shawn away toward a small yet fancy building that, by a count, Kent knew had enough room for everyone.
On their way, Kent noticed that Princess Arien wanted to say something to him, but when she gathered the courage to speak, she lost it for some reason.
Kent couldn’t help smiling slightly as he watched her six fluffy white tails move and contract whenever her confidence level dropped.
Unlike her little sister Princess Lyra, who was busily chatting with Sword King Shawn and Dori, she seemed more shy… Not that it was unexpected. After all, she had no friends besides her little sister and brothers.
Life of a princess…especially one that is surrounded by war.
“I know I am handsome, but to make a whole princess speechless, I think I should probably compete in the next Universe’s Most Handsome,”
Kent said with a smile, causing the shy princess to trip over a stone. However, before she could fall flat on her face, Prince Charming was waiting with his arms open for her to fall into.
