Chapter 623: The Creator of Chaos (8) [Bonus]
When Kent was assigning tasks to his legion, he excluded Skoggr, Gorzak, and Kazarak simply because he had a different mission for them.
Both Skoggr and Gorzak are orcs, and Kazarak is a lionkin who can summon Hellhounds. This shows they are not welcome in the Foxkin race.
Although the king and his elders accepted them, Kent knew their hatred would forever make them wary of these three subordinates of his.
That was when the idea clicked.
What if, before he leaves Fedora, he made sure the Lionkin and the Hellhounds became enemies, and perhaps lowered the trust the Lionkin had in the orc alliance?
It sounded like the perfect plan, so Kent devised a plan to utilize Skoggr, Gorzak, and Kazarak for it.
“Master, from the map you gave, this is their strongest army base. If we attack here, it will result in the effect we want,” Skoggr said when Kent appeared.
“Indeed. However, I have no doubt there are more than two Spirit Emperors there and perhaps hundreds of Spirit Kings. The only good part is that there are no children, so we can go all out,” Kent smiled.
“Will you also be joining us?” Gorzak asked, and Kent nodded.
“Indeed. However, we all have to attack only once. This means only use your strongest moves. The aim is to kill as many as we can using just one attack. The rest will take care of itself.”
The three nodded.
“Kazarak, like we discussed, summon the five strongest Hellhounds that, when they detonate their core, the destruction will be massive. And don’t worry, they will respawn back inside the dungeon, so go all out.
The base is big, so summon them at random places, but keep the interval vast so the destruction will cover a much wider area.”
“So, who will go first, and how are we going to enter without alerting the Spirit Emperors and Kings?” Skoggr asked, ready to handle the mission, considering it was his first since becoming Kent’s subordinate.
Kent retrieved three talismans from the tower storage and handed them to them. “Skoggr, you will go first, after that Gorzak will go, then Kazarak.
This talisman will teleport you to wherever you can see in that base. Remember, the moment you attack, enter the tower.”
They nodded. “In that case, let’s get the party on the road,” Kent smiled.
Skoggr pointed at the eastern part of the base. “I will attack there.”
“Then I will go to the west.” Gorzak also picked his spot, and Kazarak chose the center where he could spread out his five summons.
“Here I go then.” Skoggr took out his large Great Axe and channeled his energy into it. Using the talisman, he vanished and appeared at the eastern part of the military base of the Lionkin.
The Lionkin soldiers were about their business, planning when they would attack the Tigerkin next, when suddenly an orc appeared in the air and, without any warning, a large 50-meter-long Great Axe burning with red flames shot from the clouds, shaking the very ground they stood on.
“The Orc King sends his regards.” Skoggr’s voice filled the space as the axe fell on the ground, destroying everything in its path. The shockwave was wild as it swept through the entire area, killing those it could.
The Sovereign and Core formation experts were burned to ash, and even the spirit Ascension and Spirit Kings didn’t do much better. Most died, including a few Spirit Kings..
“The Hellhounds were right, you guys are traitors.”
Suddenly, at the western side, a mocking voice filled the space as a 70-meter hammer descended from the clouds.
Although it wasn’t on fire, the Sovereigns and Core formation experts within the western region were crushed to death even before the hammer fell.
Gorzak’s Earthsplitter Hammer has an enchanted ability that makes it several times heavier.
This means that with the skill that had already turned the hammer into a 70-meter-long monstrosity, the enchantment made the whole thing worse.
Hundreds died, and Gorzak vanished the next second before a Spirit Emperor could lock onto him. If that had happened, he wouldn’t have been able to vanish back into the tower.
But before they could process what had happened, their third nightmare arrived. Kazarak appeared for less than a second, but in his place, five 40-meter-tall Hellhounds appeared 2 km apart and detonated their cores.

For creatures that are natural fire users, their detonation was devastating. The entire landscape was burned, and everything in the path of the explosion was reduced to ashes, charred bodies, and severely injured lions.
But their pain didn’t end there. Just when the Hellhounds detonated, five powerful sword lights came from the distance, exactly 10 km away, and long before they reached them, those in the path of these sword arcs were already quaking in their boots.
Kent, who had been standing 10 km away, watched as three Spirit Emperors, just as he had predicted, appeared and, using their strongest defense, blocked three of the attacks.
However, two found their way to the military base, cutting a large crater into the ground. Those in the path of these two attacks died.
The Spirit Emperors managed to defend against the three Void Cleaves, but they sustained some injuries.
Kent didn’t let them see him, so he vanished before they could sense him, but he made sure they knew what had happened here.
“Traitors, I knew the Hellhounds were telling the truth. Lord Balma will hear of this.” Those words made the Lionkin very angry, so they immediately contacted their king.
Though they couldn’t see the last attack, they knew someone who could injure even a spirit Emperor was no easy person, meaning what he said wasn’t a lie.
That meant the Hellhounds were indeed behind the attack. Seeing two orcs, a Lionkin, and five Hellhounds that even employed suicide moves, the evidence pointed to the Hellhounds, and as such, revenge was in order.
Kent left them in a state of destruction and beyond repair. They lost thousands of soldiers, and that was precisely what Kent was after.
By the time he returned to the Hound Barracks, the battle was over.
The outcome of these two coordinated attacks will soon be revealed…
