Chapter 633: Impossible Situation [Bonus]
[Guess what? I made it to an immortal world… but there is a big problem… I’m in an impossible situation here. How should I go about this…

Well, it goes like this. After I destroyed the sword move left by Immortal Monarch, Yiu Yang, and entered the spatial channel, I found myself in an immortal world.

I knew it was an immortal world because the air was different.

It was richer and more potent. So I knew it was an immortal world right away. I later learned its name was Eryndor — a vast world housing diverse races.

The reason I said I found myself in an impossible situation was because I woke up in a prison cell after the travel that took years or maybe a few seconds.

I truly can’t tell you how long it took, because I passed out the moment I entered the spatial channel.

The place I woke up in was the Yushen Plateau — The Realm of the Celestial Beasts. It is one of the five continents in Eryndor.

Yushen Plateau is the realm of the beastkins. I found myself in the Moonfang Tiger Clan, one of the four main Beast Clans there.

One would wonder why I was imprisoned. It turns out the Beasts are in a hundred-year-old war with the humans, and as such, I was a war prisoner.

The irony in that.

But I was trapped, and since I can’t escape considering the guards are even Spirit Lords, I knew I was fucked. For ten years, I remained in prison, cultivating and advancing my cultivation base to the peak of the Spirit King stage.

I knew that if my cultivation base reached the Spirit Emperor or Spirit Sovereign stage, I might be able to escape, but it turned out they had an immortal there who was keeping a close eye on me.

One strange part is that she hates swordsmen, so you can see where I found myself.

My dream of exploring the immortal worlds has now left me shackled simply because of my bad luck: I appeared in a place at war with my kind, and even worse, the immortal I couldn’t contend against also hated my profession.

Talk about bad luck…]

Kent couldn’t help laughing as he flipped to the second page of the diary. Though Jest was probably scared for his life back then, Kent couldn’t help laughing.

“I guess his bad luck was rather strong.”

[So it has already been 50 years since I was captured and imprisoned on Yushen Plateau. That means I spent 50 years of my life in the immortal world as a prisoner.

But guess what? I am a free man.

I know, right? The immortal lady who never ever allowed me a drop of water for the past 50 years died, and her death was rather pitiful.

It turns out that humans are even more evil than the Abysskin hidden in the Netherveil Abyss. And yes, that is another continent in Eryndor.

Naturally, the humans were stronger than the Beastkins; however, because the beasts knew their territory well, it took the humans 150 years to finally break the blockade.

When they arrived at the city of the Tigerkin, only the immortal lady remained. She faced three human immortals, and after three hours of battle, she was ripped limb from limb.

Thankfully, after the battle was over, I was rescued by an immortal whose name I will never forget — a true immortal, called Yusif. Being human myself, I was taken to Verdantia, the Land of the Elemental Humans.

It was a nice continent. It had five cities named Elemental Cities. It turns out that in this immortal world, there are five types of humans.

Ice, Fire, Water, Earth, and Lightning. Everyone born has the chance to awaken one of the five elements. True Immortal Yusif was from the Fire City, so he took me there.

He gave me a few spirit stones, a much higher version of the ones I had, and set me off.

He told me that if I wanted to practice swordsmanship, I should go to a different immortal world because in Eryndor, only the Elves know swordsmanship, and they don’t like humans.

I took his words to heart, and so I decided to prepare before going. Since the humans are welcoming, I stayed in Fire City for three years, which helped me become a Spirit Emperor.

Thankfully, I managed to reach the third stage of the Transcendent Heavenly Sword Technique.

This gave me the confidence to purchase my seat on the spatial boat that travels to the World of Valyrion: The Realm of the Eternal Blade. The ship travels every five years.

I wouldn’t have to take the spatial channel with my physical body again. It turns out that doing so without a good grasp of space law is very dangerous. I was lucky I survived the first time.

With two years to go, I spent a few months exploring Eryndor before retiring to wait for the ship to arrive.

Immortal worlds are weird. It turns out there is a world for anything. There are thousands of worlds where only the sword is practiced.

Valyrion is such a world. It has four continents, each in competition with the other.

I didn’t know which one to visit, but I planned on joining the one that matches my sword path — well, my sword path complements everything, considering it was my creation.

But I planned to have a quiet life there and raise my sword path to the never-ending level. That was a well-planned life, yet again. This time, I knew I wouldn’t end up in prison.

It turns out that my life was about to get even worse than what had happened to me when I first arrived in Eryndor.

When I said bye-byes to True Immortal Yusif, I entered the ship that took three years to get to Valyrion.

I arrived in Shengdao City, the capital of the Bladeheart continent. I didn’t know what awaited me there, but it turns out that if you step into that godforsaken city, if you don’t want to be challenged, then put away your sword.

I didn’t know that, and that was how I came to know Seraphina, the Moonlit Dancer — the woman who would chase me all over Valyrion and beyond.

I will spend thousands of years running from her, for she aims to kill me. The reason was that I refused to accept her challenge… a grave crime.]

Kent closed the book, and his consciousness was drawn back into the realm of enlightenment once again…His fourth enlightenment was underway.
