Chapter 634: Progress after five Memories [Bonus]
After reading the second diary, Kent entered yet another enlightenment. This meant his understanding of the sword had deepened yet again, and that was something that made him very happy.

This time, he lasted only five years in the enlightenment, but when he came out, his profound sword energy had reached Level 2. Thus, his sword intent and aura had reached the Level 2 profound stage.

“Who would have thought a mere diary could make me gain two enlightenments just like that? This, of course, means I must get the rest of my memories back…”

A rare smile appeared on his lips as he gazed at the large sword bridge and wondered just how many levels he could traverse this time.

He had already cleared the first four levels, so he wanted to know how much further he could move this time. While he had indeed become stronger, the sword bridge adapted to his strength, so there was no telling how many levels he could go next time he faced it.

“I have already fulfilled two of the requirements to become a sword saint.” Kent sighed, stood up, and started walking about.

“I have already comprehended all 10,002 sword moves — well, I have comprehended all 1.6 million sword moves thanks to Jest, so this means I won’t be getting tasks on that anymore.

Aside from that, I have also unlocked profound sword energy, another requirement in the long list required of me.” Kent shook his head and took out an ambrosia apple and bit into it.

He savored the taste, feeling the energy wash through his body. After walking around for a few minutes, he sat back down.

“I am left with three more enlightenments to fulfill these requirements, too. However, attaining all eleven enlightenments before becoming a sword saint would be something not even Jest had attained.

I am required to get only seven. Jest attained five, something that made him a monster on the sword path. If I can gain all eleven instead of just the seven required of me, I will become even more monstrous.”

He lay back and stared at the blue sky and the 13 moons above.

“I should really force myself to gain all 11; this way, I will become someone who has set his own records.” Kent meant his words, and as such, he was determined to get it done.

He truly wanted to see how far he could take the sword path, considering he was someone who had once reached the peak.

However, when he reached the peak, the question he asked himself then was whether the peak he reached was truly the peak.

The peak is the Celestial Sword stage, where the sword intent, aura, sword gaze, sword body, sword realm, and other aspects of swordsmanship converge to form a stage called the Sword Will.

This stage transcends one’s understanding to a level known as One with the Sword—the will of the sword. He had reached that stage once, but he was determined to know where he could go from there.

“The next most important requirement is to traverse the sword bridge and form the three sword technique foundations.

I know Jest was obsessed with creating his sword technique; however, he never truly figured it out, even after spending 50 years in prison. He had the time, but he couldn’t even create one.

However, I think I can do it. It will take some time, but I have an idea now that I need to ponder,” Kent sighed and lifted his body to sit down in the lotus posture.

One good thing about the sword mind part of his sword path was that he could visualize anything in his mind, in a real sort of way.

This realm allowed him to visualize what he wanted to achieve, and if he was satisfied, it would assimilate into his body.

Kent didn’t really know if his idea would work, so he just started to visualize the foundation of his first sword technique.

However, even after four months, he came out empty-handed. It was like whenever he was getting close to a breakthrough, a part of him rejected the idea.

Perhaps he was thinking too shallowly, but the feeling of failure didn’t taste too good either. However, consistent failure made him understand one thing:

“I am still lacking. I need to witness more sword battles and participate in loads of them,” Kent smirked.

“I doubt the Everlasting Immortal Sword Sect Val will be of any use. However, I have a feeling I will gain some insight when I get to the other continents.

Perhaps the Supreme Immortal Sect will have something to offer.” Kent didn’t have much hope in them either. He needed to be in a challenging environment. However, sometimes it’s the little things that can make a big difference.

So he would give it a shot, and perhaps that would give him the push he needed.

“I can also use the sword dream now that my mind has become much stronger than before. I think I can handle the dreams, and perhaps, that will even give me the push I need to gain more enlightenment.”

The sword tower had a lot to offer, so for now, he would turn to other things. But the moment he was done with his seclusion, he would have a lot to do before the apocalypse descends.

He didn’t want to jinx it, but he wanted the apocalypse to descend even faster.

He knew the Hand was doing their best to locate the Keys of the Apocalypse, but he was also working hard to ensure they met failure in whatever plans they were cooking up.

Kent rested for the day and then retrieved the next set of keys. He had two keys for his Chaos Dragon memories, so he quickly took out one.

“I guess this is it — time to meet the one who was known as the strongest being in all of existence — the wildcard who holds the key to end everything.” Kent smiled.

“I wonder what I was like growing up.”

Inside the Mountain Garden, the three lolis sighed, a smile playing on their lips.

⟪I guess this is it. We had a good run. The moment he retrieves his Dragon Lord memories, he will know all the pranks we played on him and punish us accordingly,⟫ Gaia said, and her two sisters nodded.

⟪Though these are just the first few years of his life, we are safe for now,⟫ Dori, being the mind of their group, offered her insight, and her sister sighed,

⟪We should be prepared either way.⟫
