Chapter 637: What Did You Do? [Bonus]
“What did you do?” Kent asked, looking at Chaos as if he had made a blunder and needed to fix it.

“I can’t tell you that,” Chaos replied with a nonchalant expression.

“Why?” Kent asked.

“If I tell you what happened, it wouldn’t happen,” Chaos smirked, biting into his apple as he studied Kent’s expression.

A few seconds later, a smile appeared on his lips that caused Kent to wonder if he had indeed hit his head when he was a baby.

He had so many questions revolving around his understanding of what Chaos did. However, as it turned out, he had to give these questions to the passage of time, and eventually, if it pleased time, he would know the answers.

“I don’t even want to know anymore,” Kent sighed and sat on the edge of the cliff, looking out at the humid expanse that spread far ahead of him.

Chaos also sat down and waved his hand. The moment he did, a thin line appeared before them. He snapped his fingers, and thirteen dots appeared on the line, each maintaining a certain distance from the others.

The distances varied, but they shared some likeness, such as the margin not being too broad.

“This was our lives. These thirteen dots are used to define our very existence. So far, you have claimed one part of it, and soon you will be claiming the second. However, before you do that, there is something else you must know.”

Chaos waved his hand, and another line appeared. This time, however, there was only one dot. In the middle of these two lines, there was another line.

Though thin, it was there, and there was a small red dot in it, glowing eerily.

“What is that?” Kent asked.

“That is the real wildcard. It is a creation outside of time and space. That existence doesn’t have any rules binding it, and it is one we have lived before.

However, I don’t know what happened, and it was locked between the past and the future, outside of this timeline, yet within it. It is an existence we don’t have any recollection of… However, I found a way to get it.”

Chaos snapped his finger, and a small red stone appeared. Kent had seen it before. “The Bloodheart Stone,” he identified it.

“Indeed,” Chaos nodded.

“To understand it all, claim all seven of these stones and absorb every last one of them. A day will come when you will be required to know everything. You must know that, when that day comes and the calling comes, don’t resist.

I did what I did because of this one sole existence, so be ready. Train hard, become the one who stands above all else, and hold your claim over everything.

Only then will you be ready to know what happened and why I went through all this trouble for our future.”

“I understand,” Kent nodded. He had already acquired one Bloodheart Stone that he would absorb after he was done with everything. Now, he understood that he must get all seven.

“When will I become a full Dragon?” Kent chose to go back to the basics. All this talk about what happened billions of years ago tired his brain.

“The Chaos Dragon bloodline is a powerful one. So for now, don’t think about when you will become a full dragon; worry about how you will handle your awakening.”

“What do you mean?” Kent asked, not liking the direction this was taking. He wanted to become a dragon, but how was that now turning into an awakening?

But Chaos shook his head,

“Just messing with you. However, to take your complete dragon form, you must first unlock Dragon Claws, Dragon Wings, Dragon Scales, Dragon Tail, Dragon Horns, Dragon Aura, Dragon Presence, and Dragon Breath.

These are the basic concepts. Of course, the majority are in your blood, so it is only a matter of time. However, if you are in a hurry to become a dragon, there are three ways.

The first is to review all my memories. And let me tell you, I led a very long and adventurous life…so it will be a while.

The second is that you must find a place rich in Chaos Energy and train there. This will hasten your bloodline awakening. Your bloodline is Chaos energy, so training in a Chaos-rich area is perfect for you.

I recommend this method because it not only hastens the process but also improves your combat prowess.

If you can even start comprehending the laws of chaos, I am sure you will begin slaying immortals long before you become one.

As for the third, you just have to hunt creatures that have Chaos affinity. After killing them, you can absorb their blood essence, which will hasten your growth.

However, I must warn you that doing this will introduce a new aspect to your bloodline that I do not recommend.

Dragon Bloodlust shouldn’t be taken lightly, so unless your grip on the law of death is firm, don’t attempt this third method.”

Kent nodded at Chaos’s words. He already suspected his bloodline would see some advancement after reviewing the memories. So this was already enough for him.

“One last question,” Kent said, noticing his consciousness start to turn hazy. “Is the Primordial Era still out there? I mean, are there like fragments out there?”

From Jest’s memories, he learned of some rumors that suggested the Primordial Era is still there, lost in space. Of course, they were just rumors. But now that he was talking to someone who lived in said era, he had to ask.

“The ruins of my era are still there… Though I have to warn you, entering said places is dangerous, so be careful when you enter one.”

“Aren’t you going to tell me not to enter one?” Kent laughed, and Chaos also couldn’t help smirking.

“Knowing you—knowing us—we will be the first to jump in, so my advice is for you to be prepared and don’t be careless.” He paused and then added, “Even if you don’t cherish your life, know that there are others out there depending on you, even if you don’t know they exist.”

“One last thing: your name is Kent, not Chaos, so limit the destruction you cause,” Chaos said with one last laugh.

With that, Kent’s consciousness vanished and entered the first memory.

It was time for him to know about the Chaos Dragon, the one that came into existence through Chaos and Destruction.
