Chapter 507: Touchdown
Regardless of what the Red Demon race thought about nature, they were gone now, and their past actions hadn’t exactly proved they always believed in this values.
For example, many of the Federations planets were just as beautiful as this one that they had found, yet they had ruthlessly destroyed them and all the beaty they had to offer.
It was ironic to think they took such good care of their own planets, but had such disregard for others simply becuase they didn’t own them.
The hypocrisy was real with those guys.
Alex just shook off those distracting thoughts though as he and Mira watched the doors of their shuttle open and reveal the fresh air of the planet for them to breathe in.
“Ahhh, I feel like I haven’t breathed fresh air like this in forever…”
Alex muttered aloud for Mira and the others to hear.
‘But wait, this actually is the case… Considering we only breathed the filtered air of the ship for six months on end to reach here… No wonder breathing this freshly produced naturally air feels so good.’
Alex didn’t bother correcting himself aloud just to embarrass himself, so he kept quiet, but Mira was already quietly sniggering to the side.
Without further haste, they stepped out of the shuttle and stepped foot on the planet for the first time.
They didn’t realise it at th etime but this would mark the first time a Human had officially stepped foot on another planet outside of the Milky way since human history began on the small rock called Earth all those billions of years ago.
Well, the first time a ‘Federation human’ had stepped foot in another Galaxy.
Alex and Mira already knew that the human race was much deeper than just the Federation, as they had the chance to meet one such human from outside of the confines of the Federation themselves.
Phoenix.
He was for sure a human, and if Alex remembered correctly he even confirmed it himself.
And he for sure wasn’t from the federation.
‘I think?’
Well, he was 99% sure he wasn’t from the Federation.
“Which direction were the energy signatures at?”
Alex stopped stalling and asked the pilot of the shuttle for the further details.
There were a few other prodigies and strong awakened onboard the shuttle aside from him and Mira as well, so they all perked their ears up when they heard Alex’s question.
“It’s 500 kilometres east of here. Just past the ridge.”
Although it may seem stupid to land so far away, they were awakened — they could make that long trek without so much of a thought.
Plus it was safer to land far off, what if the energy signature turned out to be a cluster of alien ships that had beat them to this system already?
The chances of that weren’t low.
There were some other Galaxies in the vicinity of Andromeda, and although theirs was the closest, they didn’t exactly have a fast journey over thanks to the inferior technology of the majority of the Federation’s fleet ships.
“Let’s get moving then!”
Alex shouted as he kicked off the ground in a rush, boosting himself forwards with his own strength and momentum and flying off the ground in a momentous leap.
With his strength, he covered the over 500 kilometre gap in less than a second, with Mira following from behind not long after.
The moment his feet touched the ground, his eyes scanned the surroundings, and he activated his spatial perception in conjunction with it, allowing him to gain a full and clear picture of the area in his mind the moment he arrived.

‘Fuck!’
But he realised just how much of a mistake his hasty action was.
It all revealed itself before him, and it wasn’t good.
A whole load of ships of foreign looks and design sat in close quarters with each other, looking as if they were idling around waiting for something.
But if it looked bad already with this, what Alex found next only confirmed it.
Several hundred aliens stood around the exteriors of the ships, congregating with each other and conversing in nonchalant tones, which indicated they were on some sort of break or something like that.
However, they all turned to look at Alex and Mira dead on the eye, as they had sensed their presence the moment they arrived also.
‘Fuuuuuck…’
And things only got worse.
Alex tried sensing the strength of these unknown aliens, and found that the majority of them were B tiers, with the most menacing looking and commanding of the bunch being unreadable.
‘A tiers… they are A tiers for sure.’
Alex pinned a rank the unreadable ones on the spot, and he wanted to run at the sight of them already. There were four of them in total.
But the fact that there were over 120 B tiers after counting, was frightening.
They didn’t look like weak B tiers either, as they all had threatening auras to them.
“MIRA RUN!”
Alex shouted at the top of his lungs and made like a bullet towards her, preparing to shield her from any attacks that might come her way.
But just as he moved, the other prodigies arrived and had questionable looks on their faces when they saw Alex running away from the action, rather than toward it.
Of course, they also wore surprised and shocked looks when they saw the huge cluster of aliens accompanied by their ships, but the fact Alex chose to run away from this golden opportunity still baffled them.
“Haha, looks like the ‘King class prodigy’ isn’t so tough after all!”
One of the more arrogant prodigies got a little confident after seeing Alex’s cowardice, finally seeing an opportunity to seize the limelight from him and take it for his own.
“Come on guys, let’s show him how real prodigies do things!”
Some of the others had skeptical looks on their faces, while others had smiles just as arrogant as the first.
The wiser ones stayed at the back, remaining neutral.
