‘But I have other things which can let me learn Wind element since I only want it to increase the applications my lightning can do with it, so I have to keep my options open,’ Almond narrowed his eyes.

‘However, I now have more possibilities to explore thanks to my Mana manipulation entering a new realm. If I can apply magical properties to something I created with elemental energy and properly synergize with it with the properties, I can make some useful skills that can enhance my combat power.’

Almond’s creative brain was juicing as he was getting ideas.

‘Rubber…elasticity that never breaks and can bounce off everything, if I can apply this to two carpets made of Sand of Vibrant Wave and make an orb capable of storing energy and remain condensed between two and make it reach light speed with constant bounce between two of those carpet, what will happen?’

‘What if I make that orb of lightning? It would surely reach true light speed while bouncing off in between, so what kind of result and reaction would this have? This sounds dangerous but also exciting if I can somehow harness and use that level of power for myself,’ Almond’s eyes glinted. He liked elasticity and if the best element to apply this on out of those five would be Sand of Vibrant Wave.

He also liked the ring to the name, ‘Vibrant Wave,’ as he felt this Sand element variant could have some interesting characteristics.

‘Moreover, according to the basic characteristics of Sand and Lightning, both can create some good effects…’ Almond began his imagination based on information.

‘In real life, lightning strikes on Sand, Soil, or Rock can create fulgurite, a natural glass-like tube…but with magic involved, the possibilities and powers of this synergy increase,’ Almond’s eyes glinted. ‘I might be able to create an instantaneous solid and powerful glass-like structure that can be both offensive and defensive if I shoot formative lightning through formative sand element constructs.’

‘Moreover, I can charge sands too, and they can stick to anything as well, basically delivering constant electric shocks and applying other debuffs and also buffs in case of my Golden Haze Lightning…A storm of sand charged by lightning sounds nice…’

‘Even if Sand is the best conductor of lightning in nature, if I can use lightning to transform Sand into thin filament-like glass, these ‘threads’ I make can serve as a conduit in large areas…this is a possible magic formation to enhance, attack, and defend in a large area where I spread these glass threads…’

‘And wait, I can also make unique glass structures that can concentrate and re-direct lightning to basically shoot crazy laser attacks!’ Almond was imagining a lot of things that he could do as his excitement rose.

‘Healing, I don’t need to waste Mana on that.’

‘And transformation but on the self? It does sound cool if I can transform it into something cool, but nah. I might not be able to use my sword after whatever transformation.’

‘Stealth type, but it’s elemental. So, I guess it’s like turning into water, or earth or similar stuff. Meh, I can already do it with my lightning.’

‘Crafting-type…and it’s even enchantment, which I guess would be like putting some kind of enchant on a crafted item. Alright, marked.’

‘As for the last one, nah. I already have the best summoning type. This might be something different than summoning monsters, but I don’t need it.’

Almond looked at the options he marked.

‘Now, the skill will be SSS-rank, so it’s got to be very powerful. I have to choose wisely,’ Almond rubbed his chin.

He thought about what each type of those skills could bring him and elevate his overall power purely based on their type and that extra information displayed.

And ultimately, he went with the control-type / Mind affecting for simple reasons.

He could already affect his target’s minds by seeing their attributes with his All-Seeing Eyes and reducing them as he pleases with his All-Severing Blade at the cost of his willpower.

So, adding this control-type effect that instead cost Mana had a high potential to make him powerful by using less willpower to affect small reductions and adding this skill, whatever it may be, to enhance its effect and state of the target’s mind more.

‘And this skill should be something no one finds about,’ Almond’s eyes glinted.

After all, this would be his solid, hidden trump card that could help him against almost all dangerous situations against other people, including people from the other three worlds, as he believed the powerful individuals would obviously be more of a threat than Labyrinth monsters.

‘Let’s see what I get,’ Almond selected the option, and a notification rang while the box produced a white quartz crystal with eccentric micro faint red and blue patterns inside.
