Chapter 196: New Difficulty, Meeting
“Yoshaa! Everyone’s gone, and we have nothing else to do. It’s time to start training!” Natalia said as she eagerly took out one of her Advanced skill scrolls. “I’m gonna learn this light-elemental skill called Nexus of Aurus Light!”
“You start, we’ll come here after a bit,” Lily said before turning to Almond and grabbing his arms, squeezing it with her breasts. “Come on, darling, let’s spend an hour in the bedroom…all this party and drinking made me excited a bit.”
Almond laughed as he grabbed her ass and squeezed it, “As you wish, my queen.”
…
After spending a bit over an hour in the bedroom, both of them finished showering and came down to sit in the training pavilion on the Castle of Bloomshard Aurora’s highest sixth floor, which was open and roofless.
Although Sylvia and Nyssara were still developing the castle, they had almost finished a hollow structure and made a big balcony on the 6th floor with a beautiful pavilion for meditation.
It had a high tier of flowers bloomed by Sylvia that had a calming and focused effect on Mind, and also a tree of her own quirk that increased everyone’s focus within its range.
Natalia was already deep in the dimension of her Advanced Skill Scroll, focusing on its training inside to learn it.
Lily also took out an Advanced Skill Scroll to learn a skill—Umbral Shards, a passive skill!
She was most excited about it and felt that it would boost her combat power significantly.
Meanwhile, Almond took out his Unfettered Blade Mayhem Weapon Art Token.
‘Time to finally learn this,’ Almond clenched the token in his fist.
‘Everyone, make sure no one suspicious comes near our house and get ready to activate formations in case you notice something.’
‘Roger, my lord! Anyone coming here with ill intention will taste my broken sword.’
‘We will not miss anything. Please be assured and train without worry, master.’
Almond smiled and infused his Mana in the token, entering a mysterious dimension atop a mountain peak with grassy ground and sunny weather in the sky.
In front of him was a clone looking exactly the same as him, wielding a plain wooden sword with a slightly curved blade part.
[Welcome to the training dimension of your Unfettered Blade Mayhem Weapon Art. Your clone here has the same stats as you and knows the weapon art completely up to five stages.]
[The token will vanish once you have learned the five stages. Afterward, you may develop this Weapon Art’s further stages based on your potential, knowledge, comprehension, and technique.]
[Level 1: During the first level of the training, the clone will only use the first stage of Unfettered Blade Mayhem—Spiraling Execution Blade.]
[Observe, Understand, Learn, and Conquer. All the best.]
“Bring it on,” Almond said with a grin as he conjured a wooden sword by thinking.
He saw a faint flicker over the clone’s body, and in the next moment, he was watching the world upside down.
‘What the fuck? Did I just get beheaded?’ Almond was dumbfounded.
His body vanished, and he appeared again intact, ready for the second round.
‘Shit’s going to be hard…’ thought Almond as his head flew once again.
…
The night flew by, and the morning of 19th December arrived.
Almond stopped his training at noon after spending 17 hours training against his clone.
And in all of those hours, he only managed to make one extra move just one time.

Sitting blankly as he lay on the floor and looking at the clouds, Almond let the feeling and fact sink in that the weapon art he got was absolutely crazy and would take more time than he initially thought.
‘Synthesis Forge of Eternal Power…it cooked my one newest Legendary skill I created myself, the powerful Rising Dragon’s Roar combat art that uses up all of my strength and stamina for an ultimate attack I designed, and the damn Spirit Forge Factory that I added for exotic factor…’
‘It may have cooked too powerful of a Weapon Art.’
‘The fact that the clone uses my All-Seeing Eyes and All-Severing Blade to cut two of my stats differently each time to mine and perform a different type of spiraling attack with the ultimate result being my head flying…and I am always slower one in the bouts.
‘I am missing something fatal. We have the same stats, the same everything, but it is utilizing something better than I to reach that level of speed…’
‘What the fuck is it?’
He suddenly activated the token again and went inside.
Two hours later, he opened his eyes, “Fuck.”
Almond got up and saw that it was 2 p.m.
He went downstairs and ordered some food.
‘I’ll have to take my mind to something else for now.’
‘Alright, that’s it. I’ll start my training of the advanced skill scroll—Whispering Knowledge.’
…
Meanwhile, Admiral Rudra was in a meeting that had been ongoing for two hours.
In front of him were all old monsters, heads of families, top business organizations, Earth Union heads, and top guilds.
The last topic of the meeting was an auction house, and it had been ongoing for half an hour.
“Rudra, everyone is in the census now. We all know that Almond’s party had amassed quite a lot of powerful items and other resources. We will decide its date once we get the list of items getting on the auction.”
“Yeah. Depending on the number of items you are bringing, we can measure its size and scope and decide if we want to include more sellers.”
“Indeed, the Patel clan and my Smith family’s joint research center had already made a quick breakthrough on its first day this morning. If we have five more days, we will be able to produce an essential item for adventurers that would increase their combat power and survival chances.”
“I heard you two were holed up for a whole day and a half in the new lab,” Rudra chuckled. “I am looking forward to that product. Alright, I’ll bring the list of items by tonight and send it to everyone.”
“Alright, we’ll talk tomorrow morning and set up everything, including the auction date.”
Soon, most of the holograms vanished. Only five of them remained.
“So, what’s the holdup?” Silvester asked while picking his nose.
“We will decide the entry of your S-rank dungeons now,” Rudra said with a somber expression. “I won’t take no for an answer. This is very important to me.”
“It seems that brat of yours wants to feed himself as soon as possible,” Liang Zhou said as he caressed his beard. “The dungeon gate at my territory has turned red. I’ll send the parties involved with my family and build my party. You can send your brat tomorrow. I’ll let you set the time.”
“Then I’ll inform you what time he’ll come tomorrow.”
“Old Liang is taking the first turn, so we don’t need to decide for the next one right now,” Paloma Vasquez said. “We’ll continue this in the next meeting.”
“Yes, Admiral Rudra. See you at the next meeting,” Proximax guild leader nodded.
“Alright. Meeting adjourned.”
Admiral Rudra turned around as his throne-like seat moved to the middle of the hall as it became more spacious.
“Astral, prepare my soup and start up the training system.”
“Understood.”
After giving the command, he contacted Almond.
“Alright, brat, let’s see what things are you putting up for the auctions.”
Unaware of the shockwaves he was going to receive regarding the items Almond wanted to sell, Admiral Rudra dialed up and said, as the call connected.
“Alright, brat. The auction is finalized. Now, I need the list of items you are putting up for sale in the auction, and we’ll decide the date tomorrow.”
