Chapter 198: Lily and Natalia’s New Skills, Meeting of Rats
December 20th, the clock hit 7 p.m., and Natalia’s eyes opened as the Advanced Skill Scroll in her hand vanished.

The training that Advanced Skill Scroll gave her significantly helped her in regards to increasing her Light mastery!

Natalia was excited and quickly opened her training result, wanting to see what starting rank she got for this skill.

“Holy fucking light, let’s fucking go!” Natalia squealed in excitement and quickly used the skill as a mystical and aesthetic-looking nexus of semi-crystal and semi-energy based appeared with a golden crystal spinning at its center.

It was already gathering light energy as it was brightening up, and Natalia could see the gauge filling up!

“The sun can fill it up fast, huh? Awesome!” Natalia could see it was the sun’s effect!

Natalia gestured her fingers to make her hand look like a pistole and aimed at Dark Pope, who was at the beach sitting on a chair with his dark wisps patrolling the northeast side.

She moved her hand a bit and aimed at one of his dark wisps.

“Bam.”

An intense power of light coursed through Natalia’s body as she consumed 1000 Aurus Light from the Nexus instantly before the Aurus Lightburn Pierce released it from her finger.

“Ouch! Hey, lass. Why are you destroying my puppies?”

“Hehe, just testing out my skill,” Natalia replied in Magic Whisper. “How was it?”

“Pretty good, though not powerful enough.”

“Of course, I just used 1% of its power,” Natalia snorted. “And I can heal and attack both.”

She was technically right. 1000 Aurus Light was 1% of the total amount of Aurus Light the Nexus could store.

“Ayo, then it’s a very good skill. Nice gain, lass. But don’t kill my dark puppies. I’m connected to them, so I feel pain.”

“I can heal you with my Aurus Light Healing Beam, want me to do it?”

“…”

Natalia burst out laughing, “I’m just joking. Alright, I won’t disturb you anymore. Thanks for guarding us, Ben.”

Natalia went downstairs to eat since she was “hungry as fuck”— Her words, not mine.

After eating, she directly fell asleep on the sofa.

An hour later, Lily was also done with her training as her Advanced skill scroll vanished.

‘Did he finish his Weapon Art training?’ Lily blinked. ‘I also have to start my weapon art training now.’

‘But first, I need to eat.’

Kissing Almond on his cheek, she wished him good luck and got up before jumping down gracefully and entering the house.

After ordering and eating something, she also slept on a different big sofa like Natalia as she began snoring swiftly.

She found herself in a landless world, filled with the phenomenon of different colored lights taking the shape of monsters, beasts, and other things she had never seen before and the waves they produced.

‘What the hell is this? Is it a dimension mix of Light and Sound powers ?’ Natalia was surprised, and then her expression turned determined.

‘I have only 24 hours. I have to gain as much insight as I can from this!’

Meanwhile, Lily finally began training on her Weapon Art—Umbral Reaper’s Shadowy Gloom.

She arrived in a nightscape of absolute darkness, with the only source of brightness being the gloomy purple, violet, orange, and blue hues of neon lights produced by gloomy plants in the meadow.

Although her Weapon Art was obviously not as powerful as Almond’s since it was based on three SSS-rank skills, the Synthesis Forge of Eternal Power did cook something powerful from those three for her with extremely high difficulty.

“Emissory said that this meeting is very important and we are to receive an important guest.”

“It’d be better if the emissary could rope in one of the old monsters.”

In the dark hall, all twenty-one individuals wore the same black cloak with hazy white and blue patterns and a strange symbol of a spiral with an eye in the middle at the center.

In the center of the table, the emissary’s visage appeared, looking hazy and slightly blurry.

“My subordinate will arrive on this planet in twelve hours. He will crash into the inhabited frozen tundra. Before GAA or Earth Unions detects him, you are to receive him and get him into hiding.”

“What?! You mean he is coming from outer space?”

Everyone was shocked. They thought the emissary was going rope in a new powerful individual, but they were completely wrong!

“That’s right. He is riding on a small meteoroid, and the expected arrival is eleven hours and fifty-three minutes.”

“But there are GAA and Earth Union satellites equipped with new magitech weapons that work to destroy incoming meteoroids now,” one of the rats spoke with a frown.

“No worries. This meteoroid is special, and it won’t be detected until it enters the Earth’s atmosphere, and by then, it’ll be too late. It will crash, so get ready and move out now.”
