Chapter 225: One Day Left, Runic Blacksmith Blooms!
Almond wryly smiled and deactivated the domain. He knew everything there was to know for now.
‘I’m sure another main reason why I am able to connect and make this power boost me is due to my will, due to me being an Arcane Champion of Eternal Will…Without my strong will and its desire towards arcane, I wouldn’t have been able to glean into that Omega of the Horizon at all…’
‘If I got this opportunity, it is safe to say that the other three Arcane Champions of Eternal Will must have extraordinary combat power as well…’
Almond narrowed his eyes, ‘Battlefield of the Mightiest is surely going to be the most challenging for our world.’
And he was also filled with anticipation about it as well as getting prepared for it.
The food arrived as Lily sent him a Magic Whisper. He teleported down the hall and arrived at the dining table.
Meanwhile, Natalia and Mira returned to the Revelation Pavilion to begin their new training session as they had finished taking a break for eating, defecating, and freshening up after 24 hours of non-stop meditation.
Natalia’s first use of Insight Stone was lucky since she got a dimension with both Sound and Light elemental phenomena.
She had almost reached the peak of A-rank in Light elemental mastery after using her second Advanced skill scroll and learning Nexus of Aurus Light skill from it.
As such, the insights she gained from the dimension that Insight Stone gave her pushed her to reach 100% progress in A-rank Light elemental Mastery, while her Sound Elemental Mastery reached 100% in B-rank.
She just needed just a bit more insight on both and she could break through in both masteries!
And to break through in one of those with a guarantee, she had a perfect item!
“I am going to use my Insight Scroll now,” Natalia said with a grin as she and Mira entered the pavilion and sat down.
“Insight scroll?” Mira blinked.
“Yep. All of us except Almond got Insight Scroll on the 4th floor’s contribution ranking reward. The scroll lets us choose an element and gives us a chance to get insight into it in the same manner as the insight stone.”
“Oh…but why didn’t Almond get it?”
Natalia rolled her eyes, “He got something way better in his MVP reward chest. It’s called the Elemental Insight Selection Slab. He gets to choose a variant element, and can stay in its dimension for twenty-four hours.”
“I see…” Mira wryly smiled. “As expected of the MVP.”
“Well, Lily, Maya, and I got 20-hour insight scrolls, so we can stay there for 20 hours while Kira and others who were with us got 10-hour and 5-hour scrolls based on their ranks, heh. Let’s hope they can get insights to improve themselves in those short hours.”
Seeing the scroll in Natalia’s hand, Mira’s eyes sparkled, “It’s so cool that we get these rewards. I really want to get more of those.”
“Get good, keep up with us to stay in the Grim Breakers, and you shall get them,” Natalia chuckled. “I chose Light elemental mastery since I’m close to breakthrough, and reach S-rank in it. I can’t wait to turn into light elemental form and improve my skills, too.”
“Alright, let’s start,” Natalia closed her eyes and used the scroll as she had already selected the Light element option.
‘I will keep up!’ Mira’s eyes blazed with determination as she also activated her Elemental Imprint and continued to comprehend the Advanced element born of Darkness and Wind—Vaylith!
‘I have reached C-rank in it…I must make more progress!’
…
Lily and Almond finished eating, cleaned their bowels, and freshened up before going back up and continuing with their training.
Sleeping was skipped as they planned to sleep after finishing this session so that when they woke up, it would be time to enter the Labyrinth’s 6th floor for its heroic challenge.
Lily didn’t get what she wanted from her first Insight Stone, and she decided to save the second for later. As such, she used her Insight Scroll and decided to get Insight into Darkness.
The first Insight Stone gave her insights into darkness and made her reach the peak of S-rank in darkness elemental mastery.
With the use of the scroll which allowed her to choose to get insight into the Darkness element, she hoped to break through to the next rank after S-rank and reach the same level of darkness mastery as her teacher—Aria of Crimson Shadow.

As for Almond, he wasn’t worried about the Heroic Challenge anymore after finding out just how massive of a boost he got, so he decided to take it easy with Sand of Vibrant Wave and chose to gamble once more on his second and last Insight Stone.
‘Let’s hope I get a Sand related phenomenon this time,’ Almond prayed internally as he finally used the stone.
…
Every member of Grimbreaker was training hard as only a day remained until the 6th floor’s heroic challenge.
On the other hand, a certain someone finally finished his closed-door training and a new man emerged, literally.
Roken had lost weight and became a lot slimmer, or rather condensed with muscles, as he left the Crafting House of Artoren Baskil, one of the leading Blacksmiths who could craft High-tier Epic-rank items. Since this middle-aged man chose to stay independent and craft at his own pace, he didn’t have as many resources as guilds, but he was talented nonetheless since almost all top forces wanted to recruit him, but he instead taught upcoming blacksmiths with his classes and crafted custom items for adventurers.
And Roken was learning from him for two weeks with intense focus. With the extra money from Almond over a week ago, he was training non-stop with the sole goal of exploring his sub-class and gaining mastery over his Runic Blacksmith class’s powers.
‘Hehe, I am going to give him a shock!’ Roken thought as he entered the taxi and scanned his wristwatch on the scanner to give the address. “Home.”
“You seem to be in a good mood, young man.”
“I am, I am, sir! Haha, you can say I’ll be able to contribute to our world more now, haha.”
Looking at the detail panel of his sub-class, Roken was indeed in a very jolly mood, especially looking at the perks he got after his class upgraded to S-rank from A-rank, and a new skill—Runic Wheel!
[Runic Blacksmith]
-Details: A blacksmith who can create mysterious runes of powers to be slotted into items. The items this blacksmith creates can have multiple runes depending on the crafting proficiency.
-Type: Sub-class.
-Rank: S
-Perks:
—> Runic Artisan: You can summon your Runic Hammer, Runic Anvil, and Runic Furnace.
—> Strength and Health +100% when wielding a hammer.
-Skills:
—> Runic Extraction: Extract an aspect of your choice from an item into a Crafting Rune, but destroy the item.
—> Rune Call: You can use the magic crystal or core of a monster to produce two Runes or more from it that have an effect related to the monster whose magic crystal/core you used. Destroys the core after the use.
—> Rune Infusion: You can infuse your Runes into an item. You can infuse multiple of them into items you create depending on the slots you manage to form. As for other items, you can only infuse one rune or two at most depending on your control and affinity of the rune with the item at the cost of its durability. The more you try on items not yours, the higher the consumption of durability, eventually destroying the item at once in trying to infuse more runes.
—> Wheel of Ascending Runes: You can summon a wheel with six slots, in which you can put six runes of the same rank, and acquire a random rune of one rank higher.
His existing three skills also improved slightly since he could only randomly extract an aspect before, but now, he could choose what to extract!
It was the same with the other two skills as they improved in functionality.
‘Almond must have a lot of magic crystals since he had farmed shit ton of dungeons before…hopefully, he didn’t sell them all.’
