Chapter 294: Survival (4), Voidblade Catastrophe
“Darkness and Wind? Which means it must have advanced element Vaylith, which is a combination of those two,” Almond said.
“Yeah, definitely,” Malin nodded. “That’s why its wind projectiles and other attacks are dangerous. They give debuffs and apply corrosion easily. Just look at its stats with your wristband. I don’t know about your stats, but I am not a match against it.”
Almond looked at the stats that his wristband scanned.
[Twin-Headed Darkin Peakcock]
-Lifeform Rank: Mortal
-Bloodline: Mortal-7
-Ability Power: S
-Prana Sea: 102
-Soul Sea: 85
-Stats:
— Body Constitution: 120
— Mental Constitution: 108
— Soul Constitution: 85
— Arcane Constitution: 103
“This will be fun,” Almond grinned.
“Fun?” Malin weakly smiled. “It has the Ability Power of S. Do you even have any ability with the Ability Power of A?”
Almond glanced at Malin.
“W-What?”
“Shut up and do as I say.”
“Ok…Okay. What do I need to do?”
Almond stood at the edge and looked down at the sleeping bird.
‘The bird is within the range of my domain, and I have the ability to test as well. Yep, time to use Voidblade Catastrophe.’
Voidblade Catastrophe was basically the improved version of his Legendary specialized class skill, Unveiled Catastrophe.
Unveiled Catastrophe had two phases. One phase where he converges all severed space connections and Voidbound Rifts into a singular point called Void Veil, creating an energy of pure destruction-attribute by condensing space and Phase 2 was shaping the Void Veil into a blade, with its potency increased in proportion to the amount of severed space and voidbound rifts he condensed.
But Voidblade Catastrophe didn’t have to go through such steps, and Almond could bring more power thanks to this new power system of using assets to form magic sequences.
He could finish the entire process of two steps in a single second.
“Get behind me and provide me with Prana,” Almond said as he stood while holding a wooden branch that he had shaped into a sword.
The sword suddenly blanked hazily as a transparent black spatial blade superimposed on it.
In the next second, that spatial blade became bigger as Almond poured all 10,000 Prana, he had to execute a magic sequence.
The sword intensely blanked with wildly moving silver spatial aura, but it soon came under control and became slick.

Its length reached 130 meters long as Almond held it upward.
“Give me 10,000 Prana,” Almond said.
“Man, that bird will sense you soon if you use something like this at it,” Malin said as he provided 10,000 Prana to Almond.
“It won’t for now. I am not aiming my attacking intent at it yet, but I know it will react the moment I aim at it.” Almond narrowed his eyes. “However, it won’t be able to block this, so just do as I fucking say.”
Soon, the blade began filling up with golden sparks and glistering wind-carrying sand that whirled in a specific pattern inside the space of this 130-meter-long blade as Almond spent another 10,000 Prana.
The whirling stopped shortly, and the energies inside settled, forming dark semi-crystalized energy nano blades that formed a solid internal structure by connecting with each other according to Almond’s design to increase penetration power.
At this moment, the people outside noticed that Almond was going to fight a special monster for more points, and people began talking about it.
Malin looked at the sword and gulped. ‘Fucking hell…what is he doing?’
“10,000 More,” Almond said.
“What? More?” Malin was taken back. “You sure you’re not gonna kill us instead? What if you can’t control this?”
An invisible slap struck Malin as Almond used wild Prana to create a spatial slap.
“I can beat you while controlling this, so just do as I say,” Almond said, annoyed. “I am just powering this up as much as I can.”
‘I fucking don’t have big enough Prana Sea, that’s all,’ Almond internally sighed.
Malin had 58 in Prana Sea, which means he had 58,000 refined Prana. Five times more than Almond’s.
But there was a limit to using so much Prana at once into their Arcane Constitution because if one failed to control their execution, it would blow up in their Arcane Constitution and damage them or even cause death.
Almond’s Arcane Constitution was way higher. If his Body Constitution was the same number as his Arcane Constitution, he could still survive, but if he fucked up with his current stats, he would die.
However, Almond had confidence in remaining in control. He was an Arcane Champion. There was no one else with higher control of magic in general than him in this event.
Using the last batch of 10,000 Prana, Almond activated his domain as a hundred Voidbound Rifts suddenly flickered into existence before converging over his sword like pitch-black ink.
“Fuck…” Malin cursed in shock. ‘What kind of space shit is he pulling?’
Soon, the long-ass sword began to shrink and compress.
From 130 meters long, it gradually compressed and condensed into a 2-meter-long sword with a blade almost half a meter wide.
‘Okay, I have to hurry.’
Almond’s hands trembled as the power designed and added into this Voidblade Catastrophe was absurd.
“Give me Prana,” Almond said. ‘I need some more to act.’
Malin quickly gave as he put his hand on Almond’s back again, albeit it was trembling this time because of the sword.
‘Fucking hell….If he loses control of that sword, we are fucked…Please, don’t fuck up.’
People outside were also dumbfounded.
“He sure likes to play with danger,” Madam Ruby wryly smiled.
“That has become his subconscious calling. This brat is usually cautious, but becomes like this sometimes from what I saw in his memories,” Big D grinned. “But that’s the spirit someone like him should have. You don’t break limits without dancing with death.”
“But that attack is quite powerful.” Madam Ruby narrowed her eyes.
“Just watch,” Big D chuckled.
Almond was ready as he got 10,000 Prana in reserve.
‘Time to die, bird.’
Almond moved his sword in front of him as he got into a stance.
In the next second, he vanished and appeared right in front of the bird, between its head.
The bird opened its eyes on both heads, and its automated barrier formed while its aura surged.
‘Linear Acceleration Sequence, activate.’ Almond’s eyes flickered.
Malin and every audience member saw a single, bright silvery black gleam flashing in an instant from between its head to the end of its tail.
Almond was floating behind its tail, and the superimposed sword over his wooden sword was gone.
After a moment of tranquil silence, a hum resounded along with a shockwave from the bird and in the next instant, an uncountable number of blades burst out of its body, shredding it completely.
One could see an imaginary spiral covering the bird if they were perceptive enough, but the camera couldn’t capture that, and Malin wasn’t capable enough.
However, Big D was observed from both the camera and from inside the event’s dimension.
Almond floated above the bird as he had teleported there right before the shockwave spread, a satisfied expression on his face. ‘Nanoblades of 100,000 nanometers packed with power are more potent, and they can form the stream of blades to act with my Spiral Edge intent better.’
The bird was shredded till only its blood was left, with the rest of the body turning into fluid.
‘An utter catastrophe indeed,’ Almond grinned.
Malin’s jaw dropped to the ground while the audience rumbled in uproar.
“One shot?!”
“But what the fuck was that?”
“I didn’t know we had one more person with space power in this batch, and he seems quite powerful. This is going to be interesting.”
