Chapter 330: Homecoming (1/2)
Lily nodded. “The origin of this temple is the third layer, a place that seems to be able to interfere with the Grimworld’s Tutorial in the first layer.”
“Third layer?” Aria raised her eyebrows.
The others were also curious.
But the answer Lily gave shocked them as their horizons broadened.
“According to information, we live in a massive world that has a total of 9999 cosmoses, and they are like bubbles, all attached to the Grimworld Tree. Each layer has an equal number of cosmoses, but the cosmic structure of each layer is different. Meaning, what we call this universe is a single cosmos in the first layer, and we have planets, stars, galaxies, and such, but cosmoses in higher layers have different kinds of structure.”
“Higher dimension stuff, I guess. Maybe Almond went up somehow,” Gelato said, throwing his speculations.
“Interesting,” Liam nodded, rubbing his chin. “So this Black Will Temple belongs to a force on the third layer, eh?”
“Yeah, and I became a candidate of some sort, vywing for some kind of Throne,” Lily narrowed her eyes, “Which, I am, of course, going to attain for myself.”
“Everyone,” Dagon suddenly spoke, attracting everyone’s attention. He was on call just now, and his expression had turned grim.
“Astra AI detected six small meteoroids coming to our planet. The meteoroids are wrapped in magic.”
Everyone’s expression turned grim.
Lily suddenly looked up, her eyes glinting as that symbol surfaced in her eyes again.
“I sense them. They are a day away from us at most.”
“You…sensed them?” Lady Aria was taken aback. “Your Focus and Perception shouldn’t be high enough to reach that far.”
“Yeah, they are not high enough, but I can connect to the darkness far,” Lily paused for a moment before continuing, “far, far away. I can see them moving towards us, wrapped in the darkness of outer space.”
Suddenly, a frown crept onto her face. “They accelerated.”
“Can you use one of your skills on them?” Gelato asked.
“Can’t,” Lily shook her head. “I can’t do anything other than watch them through the darkness of space. Too far for me to take any concrete action.”
*Beep*
Everyone’s wristwatches rang as they got a message from Admiral Rudra to gather for a live meeting.
[Rudra: The enemy is coming, and they are coming with unknown forces. Gather at the GAA headquarters as soon as possible. We will have to make a countermeasure because those six meteorites are all going to land in populated places, unlike the previous one.]
[Silvester: They no longer want to hide, those bastards. It seems they really want to destroy this planet and us.]
[Viktor: Fucking piss tosspots! Let’s attack them before they land. We will gather and launch our strongest attacks on them in the stratosphere!]
[Rudra: Come here. Their speed is unnatural and increasing. They will arrive here in eighteen hours, and still shorting with their acceleration. Get here fast. We will need to be prepared to eliminate them before they cause disaster to our planet.]
The live meeting was over, but the top powerhouses who were not inside the Labyrinth quickly made their way to the GAA’s Headquarters.
It was 24th February, the last day of this month’s 3rd Labyrinth Cycle, and due to this month being short, there wouldn’t be a 5th cycle as the Labyrinth would close after the 4th Cycle with the new month starting.
Some old monsters and top powerhouses were inside on the 11th floor since they hadn’t entered in earlier cycles. They were leveling up to the possible limit on the 11th Floor, which was Epic Level now that they had reached Epic-rank lifeform.
…
Meanwhile, Almond had finished learning the clone’s ability and gave the clone everything he had.
All the items, artifacts, and resources from rewards. He even transferred the Elemental Imprint to it, though he kept the Weapon Art Token since Big D said that it could be used by his real body on the second layer without any problem of it getting deleted.

“I am coming,” Almond muttered as he looked at his clone with his own flesh and blood, but both bodies had a single soul and single consciousness.
“Sit down and enter your clone’s mind. Your consciousness won’t return to your real body unless you put your clone on suspension, A.K.A deep meditation on Earth.”
Almond’s real body closed his eyes as he sat cross-legged while his clones opened his eyes beside him and stood up.
“Got it,” Almond nodded. “Let’s go, now.”
Almond felt darkness enveloping him, and then chaotic streams of colorful lights became his world briefly before everything quieted down.
Almond opened his eyes and found himself on top of a raging waterfall, with greenery all around him.

Almond knew this class’s perks that boosted his stats would be gone, and all Grimworld’s tutorials wouldn’t recognize his class sources as his classes because they were no longer classes, but Almond’s acquired power sources.
The buffs and benefits Grimworld’s Tutorial gave others won’t apply to him anymore.
He could feel his perception and mental capacity getting suppressed.
‘I need to make a mental computer that can use the unused processing and mental powers I have to do something. It’s a big waste.’
Almond had 10,000 in all stats already, but they were suppressed to merely 800 here.
Looking up, he could already see trouble as the meteors were coming, but after measuring the time and speed, Almond knew he had a bit of time, so he sat down, put his clone body dormant, and returned to the second layer.
Opening his eyes in his mansion’s garden balcony on the upper floor, Almond quickly called out to Big D as the cat appeared in front of him.
“What’s up?”
Almond took out a chaotic dimension scroll and looked at Big D. “Is there any way for this body to comprehend knowledge and make progress? Because I could really use my unused mental capacity for it.”
“Normally, it would be next to impossible for a Mortal,” Big D grinned and said, “but in your case, when there’s a will, there’s a way.”
“Tell me. I already know which Chaotic Dimension I want to go to, and I want to comprehend intents or any element, whatever I can in there.”
“I like this idea, but the problem is that the Chaotic Dimension scrolls aren’t like the Insight Scroll and stones you used in layer one. Your physical body will go there, and if you die, you’re done. So you can’t use the Chaotic Dimension scroll, but you can set up training in something else.”
“Can’t you put an ability on me to protect my body while my being soaks in the powers and comprehends it?” Almond cheekily asked.
Big D rolled his eyes and then snickered, “The idea is good, and I’m tempted to help you with it, but nope. Even if I put my strongest ability on you to protect you, it will run out shortly, and then you’ll die if you are not in control of your body. Using the Chaotic Dimension Scroll to enter a Chaotic Dimension gives you a 30-day training period. After 30 days, if you are still alive, you can return, or you can also return early by using the scroll again.”
“You should make use of all 30 days, but if we go with your idea, you will only last for a few days.”
Almond sighed and put away the scroll before taking out the token.
“What about this?”
“Nope. This token requires your full consciousness entry.”
“Then how do I use my unused mental capacity?” Almond was speechless.
Big D thought for a moment before his eyes glinted, and a painting appeared before Almond.
“What’s this?” Almond looked at the mesmerizing painting of three different colored flames of the sun and a world below them raged in war.
“This painting has several powerful intents. I am going to send it into your mindscape, but you have to use your Will to invoke desire for this painting. This will make your unused mental capacity attracted to the Intents. From then on, it’s up to your subconsciousness on how it makes progress.”
Almond’s eyes shone. “Awesome. Let’s do this fast, and then I’ll return to Earth to deal with the incoming garbage dump.”
