Chapter 357: Three Armies
Almond quickly teleported to the Vital Rampage Tower and teleported everyone to the Earth’s base.
Naturally, they were startled at the suddenness of this, but Almond directly relayed into their minds the current situation.
“We only have one hour at most to prepare,” Almond said and waved his hand, filling the sky with hundreds of items, all Spirit Gear sets.
“I’ve custom-made them for you all, so you should know which ones are yours.”
“Holy crap!”
“Boss, you even upgraded our armor sets!”
“So many powerful Mythical-rank armor-sets…”
“Wait, this is Immortal rank.”
Old monsters and others who got High Mortal-rank and Immortal-rank armor sets were shocked.
“The perks are peaked, the effects are all related to my powers. These are perfect armor sets,” Liang muttered. “Wonderful.”
Essentially, all 148 powerhouses aside from Almond had top-tier Mythical-rank armor sets.
‘With this, the average combat power of Earth should be higher than powerhouses of the other three worlds,’ Almond thought as he looked at everyone equipping their new armor sets.
‘But how to end this?’
Shaking his head, Almond decided to focus. ‘I guess it’s either do or die. This battle will only end in our favor if we kill Neo and Zanathriel.’
“Everyone, I am going to produce a lot of one-time-use items. Get one or two of each type.”
From his spatial pocket, Almond took out all of the one-time-use items numbering over five thousand.
“Damn.”
“These are all Mythical-rank…”
“I don’t think we are in trouble. It’s the ones coming who are in trouble.”
“Damn right!”
Of course, old monsters didn’t share the sentiments of young ones because they could see Almond was in thought and serious.
Admiral Rudra beside Almond and asked, “Any specific plan against them?”
“We have to protect our base while trying to kill the two Arcane Champions.”
“Kexell would be a menace to them since he’s on our side,” Lily said. “We should be fine, right?”
“I don’t know, but we have to give our all and end this fast,” Almond said, a hint of uncertainty in his voice. He just had a bad feeling, but that didn’t mean he planned to give up.
“We are going to kill them and end this Phase 1 event right here. There’s no other way aside from this to save ourseleves.”
…
More powerhouses also arrived with items and resources, positioned at the back of the formations along with the people of all allied Kingdoms that Almond called.
They were a final line of defense to protect Earth’s base because if it was destroyed, they would lose the war, get kicked out of the battlefield, and lose half of their population.
In the middle of the 50-kilometer radius formation area were the majority of 148 top powerhouses, including Grim Breakers.

Meanwhile, old monsters, Lily, Almond, and some other top powerhouses, were at the starting part of the formation area.
“Once they enter our formation territory, we will activate the arrays and kill them without hesitation. Kexell and I will likely entangle with the other two Arcane Champions, so kill as many as you can, but only powerful ones. Let those at Epic-rank and lower pass by for others to deal with.”
Almond also summoned Asura and said, “Your job is to finish off injured and unaware while protecting our people. Become a death reaper and adjust your skill set accordingly.”
“Understood, Master.”
‘Meliora will be done soon. Just half an hour more.’
Asura and Meliora, these two Spirit Lords, would have 10,000 in all stats since he was also at Mythical rank now, at the peak, so the restriction on those two was also lifted to peak Mythical rank.
Those two were the most powerful in terms of Elemental masteries, stats, and skills.
When everyone finished all preparation to defend themselves against the incoming assault, only fifteen minutes remained, and Almond could already see them coming.
From three directions, three armies.
Almond projected their images on multiple big screens for everyone to see.
“They will enter our formation’s territory within fifteen minutes.”
“The draconians are three hundred. All of them are Legendary-rank, and several of them are peak Legendary-rank,” Almond frowned. “Fuck, they got more Legendary rank powerhouses than I expected.”
“Those damn bastards,” Kexell snorted. “Look at them acting like humans. The elves are also around three hundred, all of them being Legendary-rank, and that Mythical-rank dark guy must be the Arcane Champion.”
“Their stats are lower than our 148 powerhouses who have items, better techniques, and new innate talents,” Almond narrowed his eyes. “But Neo’s troops are powerful.”
James’ eyes glinted, “That metal is more powerful than mine. Way more powerful.”
“That’s the thing. He created those iron suits, elevating his Legendary-rank powerhouses stats to almost the same as you all and he got two hundred of those.”
Everyone was grim as they saw the incoming armies.
“But we have the formations,” Admiral Rudra said. “We will start killing them the moment they enter. Once we get the pace in our favor and reduce their numbers drastically at the start, we will be able to keep them from destroying our base. After that, it’s up to you, Almond, to end this.”
‘But I’ll keep an eye on you, brat. My fist could break Kexell’s darkness, even though it was only a little, so I should be able to break a skill of those Arcane champions if I strike suddenly. I’ll intervene if I see you in trouble.’
‘Got it, gramps.’
“By the way, Almond. That Dragon Emperor got something that can suppress my rebound curse power and other curse skills, so I’ll be on full direct assault mode,” Kexell said, his voice ringing somber for the first time. “Unless that artifact is destroyed, I won’t be able to go all out.”
Almond saw the artifact in the Golden Dragon Emperor’s neck. It was a large mala with glassy golden-brown orbs carved with glowing symbolic patterns.
“I’ll destroy it as soon as possible,” Almond narrowed his eyes. “Even if Neo or Zanathrial tries to control me, they can’t stop me from moving.”
“Hope so, but destroying that artifact must be our top priority or we’ll remain in serious trouble,” Kexell said with a nod.
Time tickled along with sweat drops on many people’s faces as they watched the incoming armies.
Almond also activated the formation just as they arrived near, turning the entire 50-kilometer radius area into a chromatic and chaotic space with hundreds of magic formation arrays activating.
And then, they finally arrived, stopping their march right outside the formation area.
Looking at the huge dome of chaotic colors, Neo and Zanathriel flew forward and stopped a short distance away.
“They are ready to receive us,” Zanathriel said as a dark green spear appeared in his hand with a jade snake-coil metal structure around its pole.
“Formations are interesting, but there’s one flaw in them,” Neo said as his cyber-eye flickered.
Behind him, one out of those three giant airships buzzed before it began transforming, mechanically and also magically as if the metal was alive.
In just five seconds, it turned into a hundred-meter-long-barreled cannon blaster with a fortress tank-like structure.
A huge surge of energy groaned in that machine, glowing up colorful as the air in front of the barrel trembled as an orb began to form, shaking the space itself.
“Interesting,” Zanathriel’s eyes glinted. ‘Such a huge amount of energy…’
“This first shot in my name, to the beginning and end of this war,” Neo said as he stretched his hand forward, his hand gestured like a pistole as his index finger pointed straight at the Earth’s base fifty kilometers away.
