Chapter 416: Tie? Big Ten’s Talk
Colorful vials rotated around Meliora as she floated calmly.
In front of her, the Immortal Emperor had quite a powerful aura.
He looked similar to Vanir, the guy who fought against Marcus and Maya.
Two jagged horns and metallic black hair.
“I am Barneir. Nice to meet you,” Barneir said as he activated his powers, causing jagged scales to protrude all over his body just like Vanir.
“You seem to have quite a fun combat style,” Barneir blinked as he saw the floating vials around her.
“It’s fun indeed,” Meliora faintly smiled before one vial suddenly spilled its colorful liquid, turning into a stream as it shot towards Barneir.
Both of them had 10,000 Body, Mental, and Soul Constitution + 250% to 300% additional boost.
But in terms of Arcane Constitution Meliora was a bit higher as she had around 300 more Arcane circuits than Barneir, which was frankly negligable at their current power level.
What mattered was the execution of abilities and counters.
Barneir saw the liquid stream coming at him. Not taking any chance, he evaded while also erecting a defensive black shield since he felt this liquid had a homing effect.
But the moment liquid crashed against the shield, a harrowing static noise erupted while the shield broke down into the liquid, merging with the colorful liquid before overgrowing into monstrous vines that shot towards Barneir at Hyper Speed 3!
Barnier’s eyes flashed and his hands blurred after they extended six blades from his foreheads, shredding the incoming vines at hyper speed 3 as they eroded upon getting cut.
Sparks and viscous fluids spiraled mid-air as the last of Meliora’s vines melted into ash-black mist from Barneir’s shredding blades. His body crackled, six sleek razors protruding from his forearms and spine, humming with kinetic energy as his scales bristled like a living weapon.
“Not bad,” Barneir muttered, spinning to a halt in mid-air.
Meliora floated calmly, another vial uncorking beside her.
This one pulsed a deep indigo light, its content glowing like crystallized storm matter.
“You’ve only tasted the first layer,” she murmured. “Shall we try the second?”
With a flick of her finger, three vials spiraled outward, red, cyan, and indigo, and then collided midair.
Boom!
A three-tone shockwave spread, forming a chaotic fusion sphere that unleashed random elemental bursts—lightning lances, corrosive fog, and spectral fire raining down like hellstorm hail.
Barneir grinned. “Now it’s a party.”
He vanished in a single flicker—Hyper Speed 3—appearing inside the elemental storm without missing a beat. His six blades spun like propellers as he moved, cutting a spiral path through the storm while absorbing some elemental force into his jagged body.
Barneir appeared right in front of Meliora, blades aimed at vital points.
But she rotated a vial at the last second.
Clink
It popped open—and the space between them collapsed into a reflective gel field.
Barneir’s attack hit… his own reflection.
SHINK—!!

He spun wildly mid-air, barely managing to deflect his redirected blades, but still getting nicked in the arm and leg.
Meliora’s vials spiraled again, dozens rotating with rapid velocity. “You’re sturdy. Let’s see if you can process thirty-two chemical reactions in less than a second.”
She snapped her fingers—and all thirty-two vials burst open.
‘The fuck?’ Barneir’s eyes twitched.
Each one released a mist, liquid, or spark—a symmetrical, unpredictable chemical ballet—forming a field of reality-warping chaos. The area around them turned into a warping zone of unstable alchemy: illusions turned real, gravity folded, and sounds froze in time.
Barneir’s instincts kicked in, his feet stomping against space itself as he zipped through the zone.
WHIP! WHIRL! SLICE!
He shredded through phantom tentacles, dodged spinning acidic orbs, and blocked two molten tendrils with his blades—but was finally caught by a purple flash mist that passed through his defenses and slowed his nervous system for 0.3 seconds.
That was enough.
BOOM!
A massive cauldron-shaped explosion formed under him as three vials converged into an arcane sigil and detonated.
Barneir’s body was flung backward—charred, bleeding, and half his armor of scales shattered.
He tumbled through the air, coughing blood and grinning madly.
Meliora stepped forward, her vials reforming into a perfect helix above her head. “Chaos is the most stable force when you learn its pattern.”
Meliora with her Chaos Reaction Intent, and Chaos Cauldron Intent that synergized perfectly with her superpower ability tree <Alchemist of Chaos> was the 2nd most powerful Spirit Lord, and her prowess was no joke!
Barneir’s grin widened as his body began healing.
“I am Barneir of Durling Clan, and unfortunately, I can’t lose to you. Sorry.”
He reached behind his back—ripping open a latent core as his spinal blades elongated, forming an eight-winged saw-like exoskeleton around him.
His body began to spin—blade storm incarnate.
Formless Execution Technique – Heaven Reaper Spiral.
The air screamed as his body became a vortex of slashes, sucking in even the ambient energy, creating a gravitational cutting zone.
Meliora’s vials cracked one by one, and she floated backward, preparing for her ultimate formula.
Two black vials hovered around her, pulsing and producing colorful hues.
“Let’s end this, Barneir.”
Barneir’s storm surged forward.
Meliora’s final elixir activated.
Boom! Slash! Crash!
The whole 50-kilometer area of this broken-dimension battlefield with floating debris and starry lights turned utterly chaotic and blinding.
Most of the viewers were watching this intense battle, but everything went blank at the moment.
[ What the fuck happened?! ]
[ Who won?! ]
[ I’ve bet 100,000 high-tier Arcane Crystal on Bernair! That guy is a monster as I know him. He should win this. ]
[ Meliora must win! ]
[ All hail Mommy Meliora! ]
[ Why is the dust not settling yet? ]
[ Dust? That’s shattered space and chaotic eruption of energies. We can’t see shit. ]
Soon, the dimension’s auto clean-up began and all the energies and aftermath subsided.
Result?
[ What the hell?! ]
[ Neither of them are here! ]
The chat exploded into confusion, but there was only one answer.
Both of them got killed.
However, there was still a winner between them.
The one who died later would’ve received the resource.
Meliora’s death was nothing complicated. She just returned to Almond’s Spirit Realm.
However, thanks to her unique lifeform structure, she ultimately died later than Bernair even though Bernair displayed combat power surpassing her in the end.
Ultimately, it resulted in her victory.
“Hmm, I shouldn’t disturb Master,” Meliora saw Almond was fully in focus and absorbed in the mysterious chaotic dimension of the Space of Oscillation Echo.
…
Meanwhile, the observers in Arcadia Spectrum, more specifically, the Big Ten clans, had expressions mixture of grim and anticipation.
“These Regalons are powerful. They must be incorporated in the Big Ten.”
“That’s for sure. I wasn’t expecting Berneir to actually lose against a summon of their leader.”
“Those summons, Spirit Lords as they are called, are quite powerful. Old Meng, did you find out about the conceptual power of their origin?”
“Not yet, but I’ll get the message from the third layer soon. Either way, the conceptual power of Almond Regalon Crowshade that made those Spirit Lords is one of the top tier even if we include all conceptual powers of 3rd and 2nd layer.”
“Sometimes, I do wish I was born in the first layer and reap some benefits that the third layer directly provides to those in the gravel cosmoses down there.”
“Spoken like a true loser, bah. Not everyone in the first layer could acquire this. Even if you were born there, you would have probably died before even ascending, hahaha.”
“Do you want to die, Arantel?”
“Try me, nose-less bastard.”
“Ignoring these fools, I am quite tempted to incorporate the Regalons in my clan.”
“So am I.”
“It looks like everyone wants them.”
“Which means, we will have to hold our own competition or let them decide which of us they want to join.”
“Let the main duo visit Arcadia Spectrum first. We’ll hold a tournament then for the show, and then let them decide. That would be the most fair.”
“I agree.”
“Anyway, judging by the battles we’ve witnessed so far, we’ve all underestimated the other Regalons. They are quite flexible in improvements and all of them have something in common.”
“Yeah, all of them exhibit extreme thirst for power and victory in their combat.”
“Sure they do. Above them are two maniacs King and Queen who are leading them by example. I can’t wait to get them to my clan, and forge a genetic alliance, haha.”
“My Durlin clan is more suitable in that regard. They have armored-type forms, and so do we.”
“Your Immortal and Immortal Emperor brats both lost against the Regalons, heh. Obviously, you want them to improve your Geneline.”
“Vanir wouldn’t have lost if not for the useless Freljord clan’s bastard who died without doing anything.”
“But Vanir also had more Arcane Consitution, experience, and training. These Regalons still have a lot to improve, but just their raw power and arsenals stemming from their Bloodline make them formidable.”
“Once they acquire a third Bloodline Ability and refine their combat arts further, their members will be on par with our members.”
“Another battle is about to begin. It’s between the acting clan master of Regalons and the strongest Immortal of the Karvalheim clan.”
“Arantel, it’s your descendent. Who do you think will?”
“Humph, I’m going to kill her if she dies first.”
…
Admiral Rudra was calmly exploring the mini-ruin with an exotic floral biome within an upside-down pyramid-like ruin.
Glancing to his far end, he spoke, “Don’t you want to at least search yourself?”
Following her absent-mindedly was a pale woman with moss-colored hair, wearing a black and amber-colored long layered dress.
She had a pair of feathered wings behind her back, as well as at her legs. Her ears resembled that of elves, but they had jagged designs instead and her height was 5’9.
“No, I just want to fight you, so find it fast please,” she said nonchalantly, following Admiral Rudra.
Soon, Admiral Rudra found the resource and both of them entered combat in the dimensional frame.
