Chapter 419: Progress, Surprise
“Nyohohoho…little bastards never learn. Well, since it’s passed down their geneline, I guess they can’t help it.”
Big D’s evil laughter rang as he was watching and hearing the conversations of the Big Ten clans’ Supreme Emperors.
“Almond and Lily need to finish their training in a timely manner. Until then, I should be able to buy some time.”
Big D’s eyes flickered as if an ocean of stars churning.
“It looks like I’ll have to remind them that the legendary streamer Cat Eye has not retired yet.”
…
With the streaming over, and only the Immortal Kings and some High-Mortals remaining of the Trelfjor Clan’s group, they didn’t challenge Regalons anymore upon getting instructions.
The next day arrived, and everyone also had to take breaks to recover and also break through.
The saturation of the second stage had reached 76%, so the Nexus of this chaotic dimension would be unearthed once the progress hit 100%.
Naturally, the progress has been slowed after the 50% saturation point and spike-up of difficulty, but everyone had already gained twice as many resources during the progress of 50% to 76% than what they got during 0% to 50%.
The second day passed by and everyone practically reached the peak of their respective ranks and broke through as they could.
Julian had broken through to Immortal-rank yesterday, and since he got enough resources to reach the peak by challenging mini-ruins like a mad lad, he reached the peak of Immortal the next day, breaking through to Immortal-King right after Admiral Rudra.
Both of them opened their 3rd Geno Gate and got Heart Throne, becoming the second and third Immortal-Kings in the group after Kexell.
Right after that, Admiral Rudra absorbed the resources he had gathered to reach the mid-stage Immortal-King and challenged an Immortal King of Big Ten, ending the battle with his opponent’s death under his fists.
The remaining old monsters who were at High-Mortal rank like like Liang Zhou, James Smith, Aarav Patel, Rafael Chavez, Aamir Khalid, Annika Von Richter, Theo Gabris, Paloma Vasquez, Dylan Makana, and Christina Lafayette broke through to Immortal-rank after opening their Geno Gate and forming their Prana Cores.
Three guild leaders who were of High-Mortal rank—Liam Sunbreak, Ruyi Hexing, and Quinn Firefly also broke through to Immortal-rank.
Aside from them, some of the the remaining High-Mortals of the House of Regalons had broken through yesterday like Talia, and some guild leaders, but they were challenged by Immortals of Big Ten, and died.
The four that died were Talia Graves, Xander Lom, —previously the guild master of the 6th rank guild, Lin Yuan, a Super Rookie of the past before Almond’s generation, and Jalen Yom, a powerhouse of former Earth Union.
These four died against opponents of Big Ten clans, their souls resting on Earth thanks to Krala’s device and means to send them there, waiting to be revived by Almond.
Among the other High-Mortals, the Grim Breakers Mira, Kayla, Amir, Jian, Ron, Adrian, Anya, and Eliara broke through to Immortal-rank on the second day.
Aside from these eight, the other High-Mortals were Admiral Rudra’s son, Aryan.
Bianca’s granddaughter Valentina.
Arjun’s grandson Aditya.
Liang’s son and daughter—Sun Zhou and Guolan Zhou.
Previously 4th rank Ironclad Guild leader Zayd Khaid.
Previously 5th rank Guild leader Damian Silverfang,
Lily’s former teacher—Aria the Crimson Shadow.
Lily’s father—Dagon.
Selena Lock—daughter of former constitution Earth Union’s head.
And other powerhouses from different clans or some who rose through pure hard work to be included in this expedition.

By the time the second day ended, every single one of them had successfully broken through to Immortal-rank!
All of them had a dual awakening, gaining an Innate Talent alongside the guaranteed Soul Trait.
Entry into the Immortal-rank had a big impact due to the development of Soul Trait, and a chance to awaken an Innate Talent.
And with the Regalons’ current mindset and drive that pushed them, everyone was hungry and thirsty for power and victory, because above all of them paving the path with the hardest work and building prestige were their King and Queen, Almond and Lily!
Of course, the group that Trelfjor clan brought also broke through, but just their two Immortals broke through to Immortal-King.
None of them challenged Regalons anymore as per instruction and focused on getting resources.
They hadn’t brought any High-Mortals in the first place as all 50 High-Mortal slots were filled by Regalons.
But out of 18 Immortals they had brought, only 6 remained. The others died challenging Admiral Rudra, Natalia, Emma, Maya, Marcus, Noah, and Kira, and later on the same day, one died against Julian who had broken through to Immortal rank.
Out of 20 Immortal Kings they had brought, eighteen remained.
The two that died both challenged Kexell thinking it would be easy to defeat a non-regalon, but they both lost their lives instead, unaware that Kexell had a powerful will of the last stage and an arsenal of curse powers as he was impossible to kill without extreme means.
Out of four Immortal Emperors, two of the Big Ten clan died. One lost against Meliora, and another lost against Asura.
They just had to fight against the strongest of the two Spirit Lords and courted death. Meliora died in mutual destruction, but Asura was still inside.
The remaining two Immortal Emperors were Trelfjor Clan’s Joran, who didn’t plan to challenge anyone as his aim was just to focus on getting resources.
The other Immortal Emperor was a Supreme Emperor who was streaming, but now that she got orders to stop it, she was also focusing on getting resources.
Although they didn’t challenge Regalons…that didn’t mean Regalons wouldn’t challenge them!
It was all fair game here, after all!
And the more they eliminated from their group, the more resources Regalons would be able to acquire because ultimately, the resources were limited in a sense that once the saturation point hit 100%, phase one would be over.
Next phase, the Nexus of this chaotic dimension would open up—one big ruin for the ultimate resources.
And to get the most out of them, Regalons decided to end as many of them as possible.
The third day arrived, and all Regalons gathered at a place with Krala creating a solid exotic geo-metal camp.
The Saturation was at 85% even after getting resources the whole 2nd day. It was slow. But in this case, the slower it progressed, the better.
By the time the 3rd day started and the Regalons were having a meeting, a surprise swept through the 2nd layer.
All the devices and screens were connected via a pair of sneaky cat eyes from gazillions of cats across all 2999 cosmoses of the second layer and civilized planets.
A fat cat’s face with a cheeky smile and big eyes appeared in cartoon style as a cheery voice mail prompted up.

“What the fuck is Big Dean doing?!”
“Wait, how did he get access inside the chaotic dimension in the first place?! He shouldn’t be able to go inside.”
“The spectators from the third layer won’t mind this, but…this is bad for us.”
“Big Dean has been silent for centuries, but I heard from my grandfather who had gone to the third layer a hundred years ago, that Big Dean used to be the largest streamer who would stream the people of his academy going to the chaotic dimensions and rake in a lot of money.”
“What do we do now?”
