Chapter 420: Threat? Big D’s Declaration
“Big Dean is someone who can grasp almost all chaotic dimensions before anyone else across the entire second layer, so if he wants to enter one or send something for live streaming, he should have means to bypass the governing laws of chaotic dimension by slightly bending them without breaking them.”
“The spectrators of the third layer already started watching…and we can’t really stop it anymore.”
“Humph, it will stop. But let it play for a day or two. There’s no need to hurry to end this.”
“All that matters is we end the stream one day before the chaotic dimension is explored and conquered.”
“So how are we going to stop the stream when the time comes? Tell Big Dean to stop or else what? We can’t kill him unless we kill all of his avatars, and that’s just impossible.”
“And he’s got the Starry Horizon Academy. This old cat is the oldest Supreme Emperor of the second layer and we don’t even know why he’s not ascending.”
“If he ascends to the third layer, that’d be perfect.”
“For now, let’s think of a way to convince Big Dean to stop the stream when the time comes.”
“If he knows about what we planned to do, which I believe he does know, and that’s the reason he put up this stream. He is telling us not to mess with Regalons unfairly.”
“Yeah, that should be the case. We are out in the open garden of Arcadia Spectrum, so it wouldn’t be strange if he put up a pair of eyes here somewhere.”
“Tsk, so he must be hearing everything we say here right now? Hey, Big Dean, just come here and talk.”
*Meow*
Everyone heard a hazy meow sound before a cat appeared in the middle of the table, around which figures of unique racial features sat on different couches.
The cat was gray and fat with black stripes, and stood like a nekomata, licking his paws.
“You chaps are getting out of hand. Why must you want to weaken Regalons when you want to include them in your clan later? This is similar to an incident that happened a long time ago when even I was merely a High-mortal. A powerful clan was rising, unstoppable, led by their Supreme Emperor who had created a powerful Geneline and paved the path to the peak for his force with his exceptional arsenal of powers and will.”
“You all weren’t even alive back then, but the Big Ten of that time suffered, and four of them were knocked down off their pedestals.”
Everyone became silent briefly. Some of them knew about this from the records, some didn’t, and they didn’t care.
“Big Dean…You are talking about the Alkaizer clan, right? Do you know what happened to them on the third layer? You don’t know, you can’t know that because you don’t have the means for that.”
“But us Big Ten clans have connections up there and receive messages and converse. Alkaizer Clan did wreak havoc here, but they met their doom in the third layer as the result.”
Big Dean’s eyes squinted, but he didn’t say anything.
He didn’t know about all that of course. He didn’t have any backing and history like the Big Ten, and since the top ten cosmos have been controlling the flow of ascension games, it was hard for people to ascend without getting on the Big Ten’s good side.
He didn’t like it, which was why he had been scheming and preparing for so long, and waiting for another Alkaizer Clan, which had finally arrived in a stronger, more intense form—House of Regalon!
“Big Dean, the games of the third layer are tricky and nefarious. And to maintain our power and position up there, Regalons needs to be under us. They need to be used to strengthen our forces up there.”
Big Dean internally snorted.
“Big Dean, we are just weakening the Regalons by killing half of them. They can revive and progress again. We don’t care. But they must be weakened for now while their leaders are getting stronger. Let Almond and Lily come here once they are ready.”
“The stronger beings of the third layer do not care about the second layer or many things, let alone the Seven Thrones who are too far off the radar.”
“But things shake every once in a while as per this Grimworld’s wishes, and when it happens, the Seven Thrones are challenged and five Mystics are awakened. To ride this tide, the weaker forces must strengthen themselves, and that’s how our clans up there had survived.”
“Some of our ancestors have challenged the Thrones, yet failed and died, paying the ultimate price of complete annihilation. Getting so strong just to be erased completely…it is too sad and cruel.”
“Big Dean, let us do things our way. Close the stream a day before they exit the chaotic dimension. Our coalition up there is working hard to formulate a force strong enough to penetrate the upper cosmoses of the third layer, and Regalons can help us.”
Big Dean rolled his eyes. ‘You just want to use them to strengthen yourself.’

Still, Big D didn’t know as much about the third layer as these young assholes, but that didn’t mean he was going to let them do as they pleased.
He had made his plan and he was determined to execute it.
‘They just don’t want a powerful clan taking their place once they ascend to the third layer,’ Big Dean thought. ‘Is the competition too high there? Or what kind of games are being played there for one to get strong? Tsk, if only I knew more.’
‘But my patience is also over now.’ Big Dean’s eyes swept across the ten powerhouses around him. ‘House of Regalon and Academy of Starry Horizon will ascend to the third layer while blasting off your doors, and that’s final.’
Big Dean knew he would have tread more carefully than ever. Even though his centuries of preparation and how he was about to execute a plan with the House of Regalon would give them a boost, if they messed up, they’d have to stay back on the second layer for long and if something happened to Almond, House of Regalon could collapse.
Supreme Emperors were anchors to keep the clan alive as they could keep the souls of their dead members and revive them. Almond wasn’t a SUpreme Emperor yet, but he had his own power to do that, so he was the anchor of Regalons. Hence, Big D knew he had to tread carefully despite being bold.
“Well, I’ve listened to you all, but I need time to think. After all, House of Regalon’s leaders are my close allies, unlike you lot.”
“Big Dean, you should know that we may eventually be able to kill all of your avatars, too.”
Big Dean burst out laughing, his aura suddenly sharpening and harrowing, causing goosebumps to the Apex Supreme Emperors of the Big Ten around the table.
“You brats, your Big Ten clans might change in the future if you try to do that. Whatever you built on the third layer can’t come here, so on this second layer, I am the eternal king, until I decide otherwise.”
One of the old men with jagged horns, Arantel of Karvalheim Clan snorted and said, “That means you will also be sealing your fate, Big Dean. If you ascend to the third layer after making a mess here, our coalition up there will hunt you down until your soul is erased.”
“So what?” Big Dean’s eyes narrowed. “I’ll eat the souls of your lot before that. Think about the present, not the future, dumbass. I’ve lived long enough that I am willing to go all out now.”
“So don’t fucking step on my tail. Sit tight and wait for my response. I’ll decide whether I want to turn the stream off or not.”
