Chapter 378: True Use Of Green Aura
The priestess rushed as fast as she could, breaking through the guard of the commanders surrounding her as she rushed for the center of the temple.
Victor saw this, but surprisingly, he did not give chase.
Instead, he followed after her without rushing and without urgency.
This was the same thing for the other Commanders. However, the moment that the priestess got to the center region of the temple, she paused in her steps.
The sight before her was one that she could not believe. The point where she was supposed to sit and draw power from was runied.
The pillars had also been fallen down.
She was left speechless at this sight. After all, she had not heard when all this destruction had happened.
But here it was. The pillars that represented each Aura had been fallen, and the point she was to sit and connect with the vein deep within the ground had been bashed terribly.
Only gravel and broken stone remained there.
All this would take time to fix.
This was time that she did not have at the moment.
Victor’s chuckle suddenly came from behind her. It was a cocky chuckle. “See, even your actions were accurately predicted. After all, you are a godchild.
I have read about your kind from a very young age. Very unfortunate if you ask me. From the moment that you accept the touch of your god or gods, you no longer have the privilege of cultivating like any normal person, and you are left to the wills of the divine, depending solely on the amount of power that they supply to you.
If you are in good favor, or if your gods are feeling kind and generous, you get more, but if they are in a bad mood, or you piss them off, you get less.
According to what i leant, the old god child before you had the ability to call upon far more potent power. It was Enough to have kept the Vandoria kingdom at bay for many years. But you are like a dying flame in contrast.
After all, they are still mad at you.”
Those words made the priestess frown harshly, and her breath had increased in sheer desperation. However, she knew that what he said was true.
It was a painful truth that she did not want to accept.
No! a painful truth that she knew that she needed to make amends to. And that was why she wanted to get back that blue mark rune from Mani as soon as possible.
Nevertheless, she had to try her best. Instantly, she waved her hands, and green aura energy appeared all about her.
Green aura energy was usually used to protect, and guide. The reason for this was because it was the aura energy that produced tangibility.
Rumors had it that at the peak of its usage, one could materialized one’s own thoughts into reality, creating realistic holographic images like the way the vandorian people used Totems and Spiritual energy.
Unfortunately, achievement in this field was very low, as one needed to have sufficient imagination to create and mold from scratch.
For this reason, it was easier to just use this Aura energy in a display of what one could easily understand.
And the shield or a weapon was most common.
Then again, as priestess, she had the opportunity to learn from scriptures of past god children of the aura tribes that had come before her.
She knew that she could do it.
She waved her hands as her mind pictured what the temple used to be look like. She had been in this place for many years and was most familiar with each stone and each rune. she knew their stories and knew their formation.
She was going to cast a technique that would ensure that every thing was back in order.

She muttered lowly.
It was true that she was without a cultivation rank, but that did not mean that she still did not have power. after all, she had connected with the power of the gods only a few days ago. She still had some left in her system.
A habit she had to protect herself.
Even though she had guards and maids to serve her, she had long come to trust her own abilities better.
Instantly, a wave of green aura energy flowed from her body, flooding the temple, and then, every broken stone, pillar, and rune broken, as if having a life of its own rose in the air tracing themselves back to their positions as it was in her imagination.
Victor saw this and frowned, “Stop her!”
the moment he said this, a commander that had been hiding in a corner moved.
*SWISH!*
*SLUSH!*
It was only with a wave of the sword, but her right hand fell to the ground.
“AHHHH!!!” The sudden surge of pain that ran across her body disrupted her thoughts and therefore the technique.
She fell to the ground as beads of sweat appeared on her forehead.
Her hand from the wrist down had been cut of.
Her blood stained the ground like a rushing spring.
The commander that had just shave doff her hand chuckled lowly. “You have already lost!” he added.
As she raised her head up to stare at his face, and menacing smile, she actually felt dread.
However, something unexpected suddenly happened.
*SWISH!*
A sharp sword sound was heard, as a quick blade passed the neck of the commander and the commanders smile froze on his face.
*DUM! DUM!! DUM!!!*
His head fell of his body and bounced a few times on the ground as it rolled towards Victor.
The vandorian prince paused as he was filled with surprise.
He did not understand what was happening.
After all, this was not just any ordinary person, but a bronze rank cultivator, and he had been killed like a rat in a farm.
The commander’s empty body staggard a bit as blood rushed to the sky from the empty neck and then it fell to the ground….
