All of a sudden, she heard loud laughter, and when Barbara turned to the source of the laughter, she was surprised to see that it was actually Igbi.

Igbi signaled with a finger for her to look at the mirror egg.

It was at this point that she noticed that the white energy that had been flowing out of her body, was now flowing in reverse.

To be precise, her red aura energy was flowing back into the mirror egg.

She tried to stop it, but she could not.

She panicked, “What… What is going on!? What did you do? Igbi, you bastard!”

Igbi massaged his brows, “firstly, its not Igbi!” the moment he said this, his face morphed on its own, and Chiron’s face returned.

Barbara was surprised about what was going on. She did not recognize this person before her.

But she was not the only one. His grand mother on the ground, and Claudia both backed away from him in surprise.

Chiron smiled, “don’t worry, the mirror egg is only taken back what it gave you…” Chiron had a silly smile on his face, “and more of course. After all, its because of the mirror egg that you, who is merely, at the early stages of the bronze rank is able to withstand the direct blast from a Vandorian Tesseract, or is it not?”

Chiron’s words had hit the nail on the head.

A fearful expression was suddenly labelled on Barbara’s face.

“How… How did you?” she stammered.

Chiron scratched the back of his head a bit. “Ahhh… I see I got you. That was your true aim was it not? That was the reason you agreed to partner up with the holy church. Abel, that fat conniving snake had promised you increase in strength if you gave him the highlands. I’m i right?”

As the Mirror egg sucked out the red aura energy from Barbara, she fell to the ground.

“How!?” she gritted her teeth as she asked.

Chiron explained.

“Trust me, you do not want to know how. But then again, Abel has always been that kind of person. But even more impressive is that fact that your hunger for power did not make you hesitate to sell your people.”

As Chiron said this, he walked over to Barbara, squatting over her.

“You are right about one thing. You and i are cut from the same cloth, and would do anything for power, unfortunately for you, our Vision of it is like night and day. I will easier pick death that the shameless submission to another man.”

By now, the Mirror egg had taken so much from her that she now looked old and her red long hair had become gray. she was like a shriveled old woman about to die.

“Who are you…?” she asked again.

Chiron took the mirror egg and the broad sword as he stood to his feet. “I am Chiron Chivalry…. Knowing you, you have probably heard of me, even in these parts.”

“You… You have arms!?” Barbara asked.

Chiron smiled sarcastically, “I know, right? The rumors don’t do me well these days…”

When the Mirror egg was in Chiron’s possession, he had long inscribed runes on the mirror egg that redirected the flow of energy. Of course, this could only be activated the moment that Barbara touched it with her blood.

This was the reason why Chiron had not panicked when the deal had been proposed. Chiron played along, pretending that the old woman and Claudia were of any importance to him.

In truth, from the very start, Chiron had planned to use Claudia and the old woman as bait. It was the reason that he had gone through all that trouble.

He made sure that his relationship with the women was as believable as possible.

Barbara fell to the ground. She realized that she had been played.

But there was nothing she could do about it.

Yet, she gritted her teeth in hate.

Chiron looked at her, he properly observed the gaze in her eyes. He shook his head. “yep, I can clearly see it. keeping you alive is going to be a very terrible mistake. One I shall not make.”

“Devil’s Touch, enjoy the meal!”

These words propelled Death’s Touch to rush for Barbara, and she clearly saw her reflection in the blade before it tore her right from the center of her head into two.

Barbara fell to the ground dead.

The sight of which made Claudia shriek in horror.

Chiron walked back towards the Priestess. As he did, Igbi’s old, grand mother, grabbed his feet. “Who are you? Give me back my Igbi!”

Chiron looked at the woman in disgust as he waved his hand and her head was cut diagonally, sliding down to her face.

The uneven half fell to the ground. She too was now dead.

Claudia Screamed again as she backed off.

Chiron turned to her, “don’t worry, my beautiful wife. I have a special plan for you, and that little one you are carrying. But before that, I have to finish this.”

He smacked Claudia in the face, instantly fainting her.

Chiron walked over to the priestess on the ground. The frightened woman had peed her pants and was trying to crawl her way to safety.

Chiron sat over her back, ripping her clothes opened.

There, before his eyes were Runes, each one of different colors. There were on different parts of her body. Some all the way to her ass.

Waving his hand, a knife appeared, and Chiron began his work.

Whistling like a butcher enjoying his work, Chiron began, his knife skills.

He was skillful with his cuts ensuring that he dug deep enough into her flesh to cut out the runes perfectly.

All the while, the priestess was conscious. Her painful screams echoed off the walls of the temple.

But Chiron did not mind. Extra background music was good for the moment.

In only a few minutes, Chiron had totally carved out each and every Rune on her body, including those that marked her so deep that it reached her bones.

He dumped them all in a tray.

Blood filled the ground.

Now, it was time for the next step.
