Re: In My Bloody Hit Novel - Chapter 385
Chapter 385: Bronze Rank
In the heart of the temple, amidst a tempest of divine wrath and mortal defiance, Chiron stood ensnared in a trance that transcended the physical realm.
The pressure exerted by the gods was a relentless assault, a sensation akin to being crushed under the weight of immense, red-hot boulders.
The aura runes etched into his skin, once symbols of stolen divinity and power, now turned against him, branding his flesh with the ferocity of their origin. Each rune became a conduit for the gods’ dominance, searing into him with an intensity that defied endurance.
Blood streamed from Chiron’s mouth, a vivid testament to the brutality of the gods’ retribution.
The pain, so overwhelming in its scope, paradoxically served to keep him agonizingly alert, each pulse of agony a stark reminder of his precarious grasp on life. In this crucible of suffering, where the boundary between life and death blurred, Chiron’s spirit teetered on the brink of annihilation.
Yet, it was in this moment of utter despair, as every cell within him cried out for release from the unyielding torment, that Chiron perceived a glimmer of hope—a call from the very heart of the earth. Deep beneath the temple, at the nexus where all Aura energies converged, lay the object of his salvation and the gods’ fear.
Driven by a resolve that defied the gods themselves, Chiron reached out, his hand piercing the earth toward the epicenter of this power.
The item, shrouded in mystery and guarded by divine will, stirred in response to Chiron’s command. Against all odds, it recognized him as a god child, albeit a false one, drawn to him by the array of runes that now marked him as a vessel of divine potential.
With an urgency that mirrored a child’s rush to a mother’s embrace, the item surged through the earth, seeking Chiron’s hand.
Upon contact, the temple and the world beyond bore witness to a cataclysmic event.
*BOOM!*
A booming explosion echoed through the sacred halls, a shockwave of force that sent ripples across the physical and divine realms alike. A beam of rainbow light, embodying the essence of the stolen runes, pierced the heavens, merging with the aurora above in a spectacle of unparalleled beauty and power.
This was the herald of Chiron’s breakthrough, an ascension to the Bronze rank that was felt by all who lived—Abel amidst his confrontation with the dragon, Prince Victor laying on the battlefield, and the priestess, each sensing the seismic shift in the balance of power.
But they were not the only ones that felt this shift in power. All of Chiron’s slaves felt it in their souls. Carla, Hunter, Emma, and the Red Blood-fire Dragon felt the increase in power.
Yet, Chiron’s evolution was far from complete. The divine energy, once contained within the mirror egg, now flooded his newly expanded Aura and spiritual realms.
This influx of power, rather than overwhelming him, served as the crucible for his final transformation. As he faced the gods, their visages blurred yet undeniably menacing, Chiron’s voice, soft yet imbued with unwavering strength, rose in defiance.
“Haven’t you heard?” he whispered, a declaration that resonated through the void. “Danger sharpens the senses and builds the strength of a cultivator. Thank you for the challenge!”
In that moment, Chiron was more than a mere mortal challenging the divine; he was the embodiment of resilience, a testament to the power of adversity to forge strength from the fires of tribulation.
The gods, faced with his unbroken spirit and ascending power, bore witness to the birth of a new force within the cosmos—one that had transcended the bounds of mortality to touch the edge of the divine.
At this time, Chiron was not aware that his challenge had set in stone a chain of events in the Divine Realm. There were those who thought of this defiance as an act to challenge the beings that controlled the rules of the cosmos, and therefore, send the disadvantage of curses his way.
Yet, there were those who had developed a certain level of interest in him and were even willing to push favor his way. After all, the struggle of man was always an interesting show for these beings to watch.
The item that Chiron had summoned did not just touch him, instantly rushed into his Aura Dantain in his head. It was a little box with runes labels around its body. Each one to represent a different Aura type. But it also had a different rune, black in color.
Nevertheless, now was not the time for Chiron to make observations about that. After all, the power that flooded into him was far from being done.
It climbed and climbed, and soon, he was about to break through into the second rank of the Bronze realm.
However, Chiron frowned. More power was good. But that did not mean that he had suddenly become a fool. If he took in this much power now, he was bound to be doomed.
After all, he had not yet consolidated his foundations, and he had just moved from one realm to another. it would be incredible foolishness to continue absorbing the power. After all, right now, he could still control it, but soon, he will no longer be able to.
And then, he might just blow up into bits.
Nevertheless, he had too much Divine and aura power running in his body. He had broken through on both his spiritual and Aura Dantains.
But this power was still too much.
Nevertheless, Chiron did not want to let anyone else have this power. No ONE!

This meant that if he could not have it, then no one else was deserving of it.
He looked at the fading faces of the gods above, and then he cracked a deep smirk at them.
Even they could tell what he was about to do. And they increased pressure on him in an attempt to stop him, but they were not in of this world, and their influence here was only so much.
“AHHHH!!!” Chiron screamed as he let out all of the remaining energy into the sky…
