Chapter 390: Plans For More Power
Every prisoner was made to consume the powder substance in the bowl.
Finally, it was done.
The priestess, deep within the heart of the Holy city of the Holy Church, suddenly saw the icon that represented Chiron come to life.
However, she raised her brow at it. After all, this icon that had appeared was not one but twenty one.
She casted her power on the image again and again, but it was the same thing.
The same thing was happening to the demonic mother. Her pot of blood displayed more figures than it should.
While both women were confused, Chiron had a slight smile on his face.
This was the reason that he needed the body of his own unborn child. Chiron could already feel their gaze away from his back.
He massaged his shoulder a bit.
It was indeed a good feeling to be free from the eyes of those that he could not see.
For a while now, Chiron had be sure that they had their eyes on him. After all, they also had their eyes on the Mc of his book.
The only difference was that back then, the Demonic mother was after the Mc’s life while the Holy priestess was trying to protect him.
Things had totally flipped right now.
Then again, Chiron did not exactly mind if they had their eyes on him or not, except that he was not willing for them to have knowledge of his secrets.
For this reason, he had held back on other fundamental plans. After all, they had already seen enough.
They already know that he is not normal, and was potentially crazy.
However, they did not know as to what extent this was.
Now, Chiron could shine as bright as he wanted to.
This did not mean that Chiron was a fool. After all, he knew that the mask that he now had on himself would only put them off his tail for a couple of days.
Nevertheless, he would have gone underground by then.
The thought of entering that place made him massage his smooth jaw a bit.
Truly, power was the road to freedom. But if he wanted more freedom, then he had to acquire more power.
“Forbidden Fog of Unbounded Demise… Huh!?” Chiron thought to himself out loud. That place was his next destination.
Since Fate had come after his life again and again because he was going against it, he was therefore going to go with fate and see what will happen.
Even thinking about it was already very exciting for him.
He already had certain chess piece in place. The first was Dylan, and his friend Deamon that were now soldiers under him.
Chiron had spared no cost to ensure that Dylan had become close with him. After all, he had not forgotten. In the Forbidden fog of Unbounded Demise, Dylan had a destiny there. He was key.
For his next growth in power, Chiron was going to be shameless and piggy back on fate itself. Of course, he could very well die because of the stunt that he was about to play, and mostly likely regret it.
No! He was going to definitely regret it. In fact, it was going to suck like hell. But there was a rich possibility of growth on this path and he was going to take it.
Even though it was potentially going to cost him everything he had achieved so far. Even though death was probably going to be the least of his problems once it happened, Chiron knew that he was still going to do it.

After all, this path, this path that he had chosen was the path that he wanted to take.
The world could hate him and call him a mad man because of it, but he was still going to do it. No matter what it took, he was going to flip the fate that had been tagged by his name.
Chiron brought himself from his thoughts and turned to Emma, “Tell Stone cold to take them and release them at the border of both nations. In fact, he should release a few of them at the border of the Beast nation. The further away each one of them is from the other, the better.”
Emma nodded and went to do as Chiron had instructed.
Just then, as the prisoners were all let out of the room, an orc came over with a scroll for Chiron.
Chiron took it. On it was the royal seal from the Vandorian kingdom.
“That old man works fast.” Chiron commented. But he still took it, and with a drop of his blood on the seal, the seal disappeared. This seal could have never been opened unless it was by royal blood.
The content of the letter was a very simple one. “The war is over. You have done good grandson. Come home, your coronation is in two days.”
Chiron read it and then he waved his hand, burning it to ash.
Any normal person would have been in joy over such news. After all, the Vandorian empire remained the strongest kingdom in Almace. But not Chiron.
He was not even remotely interested in the position. In his eyes, even the entire Almace kingdom was a small place. A small place that did not deserve his attention.
It was just another step that would help elevate him on his path to success.
The throne? What a ridiculous word.
After all, even if one ruled the Vandorian kingdom, they would still be under the Zodiac families of the round table.
Now, that table governed the affairs of the world as a whole, and even they, were not the peak of the world.
Chiron had promised the very gods that he was coming for them. His ascension was only beginning.
Chiron gave orders for his men and the orcs to plan to leave as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, he had to go check the Fate system for his gains and losses.
After all, a man must know his own strength and weaknesses before any battle, else he spells the way to his own demise….
……
Meanwhile, Chiron’s actions had once more set a chain of effects that even drew the attention of certain members of the Round table.
After all, two powerful forces, worried that one had gotten Chiron before the other, had decided to send their forces into the world.
The Demonic mother had set out certain lieutenants under her wing. high ranking negative spirits of the Nether to do her binding.
This drew the attention of certain Generals and commanders under her command.
“Why is the Demonic Mother so worked out one General asked out, as he watched the Negative spirits buzz through the sky and out of the castle of bones.
This particular general had little to none of his body parts showing out in the open. He was entirely covered by a coat. however, this coat was entirely made of blood, and it flowed around him like it had a life of its own.
He literally wore it like his clothes. The blood covered his entire body except for his eyes which were surprisingly hollow.
When he spoke, it sounded like a drowning man struggling to get words out.
Another by his side shook its head. “I don’t know, Cicada, Maybe she has finally made up her mind to break the accords and attack the other side.”
The person that had spoken up was covered entirely in smoke just like cicada, however, its eyes were as red as blood, and gave a light glow whenever it spoke up.
“Are you sure, Autumn!?” Cicada suddenly got excited, “I have been waiting for the last thousand years for a bloody battle. War is…”
“…Not what the Negative spirits are for, you idiots” someone else suddenly interjected.
The person was practically an apparition. Their body only had an outline to show that they were around. It was easy for one to miss their presence.
“Oh! It would seem you know something we don’t, Winter. Spill the beans. Nothing fun ever happens around here. Tell us!” Cicada spoke up in annoyance.
“I heard from the demonic daughter lamenting about the fifty years of punishment that the Demonic mother lashed unto her, and in her gnashing of teeth, I heard something…” Winter paused a bit, “…interesting.”
“Is it war?” Cicada spoke up again.
“Is everything in that big skull of yours always about War?” Winter frowned.
“Well, war is the reason for our existence. Without War, I cannot drink blood, and I am very, very thirsty.” Cicada spoke up.
Winter chuckled, “Well, I heard it has something to do with a very interesting Demon child.”
Cicada hissed harshly, “another Demon child? There are many of those suckers running around on the other side, and the Holy Church always gets rid of them before we ever get to them. It is futile.”
Winter giggled, “Oh, that’s exactly what makes this one all the more special. From What I gather, the church is not only unable to get him, they also fear him…”
