Chapter 398: Rough Stone Made To Shine
Having been comforted by the letters that had reached him, the letters advised that he comforted others like himself, telling them that justice would come for them.
Of course, these letters that had now become the sun in his dark, cold world hinted time and time again that he was a genius and that the only reason he was suffering the way he was , was because no one knew the value of what he had brought to them.
No one knew the value of his mind. No one in this land appreciated him, and that they would appreciate him better.
They would support his research, and they would give him the aid that he so desired.
And who were they?
It was none other than the Holy church.
Somehow, they managed to continually lift Hadi’s spirits within the dungeons, and soon, Hadi in turn started to talk with the other prisoners.
In such a gloomy world, any form of comfort was held tight like a child hungry for its mother’s attention.
Such was the situation that these Prisoners had been plunged into.
Soon, Hadi was known as the Messiah within the prisons, preaching about the salvation of their race by the eradication of corruption.
In every time and generation, words have been proven to sway the hearts of man.
This was most especially true for hadi as he had a knack for it. maybe it was because of his origins as the son of a politician, but one thing was clear, and that was the fact that he could talk, and he could talk good.
This particular talent that he had and had never used to climb the office of the senate was now used in this dark land.
Hadi’s words resonated most with the little guys. After all, they were the most oppressed. rabbit-men, rat-men, squirrel-men, and the like.
Because of their weak origins, they were made to do jobs that brought no glory to their household. It is said that even in the Senate, their representatives would always keep their mouths shut, and only do as they were told, never going against Families that could physically crush them.
However, a particular fellow of the Dungeons, a Tiger-man, had set his eyes on Hadi. These two were from families that had eternal fiends with one another, and even in such a place, his dislike for Wolf-kind was palatable.
He was the Alpha in these dungeons, and his massive size ensured that not many would dare to oppose him.
He quickly took notice of Hadi and the work that he performed, and in no time, started to pick on him.
Hadi would be caring for the little ones, as he preached to them his message of their salvation, when this Tiger-man, known as Hush the butcher, would invade.
Rumors about him were a lot. There were those who even believed that he engaged in cannibalism. After all, it wont be the first time. They were indeed some beast men who had unfortunately inherited the hunger of their Core beast counterparts.
Such individuals were a problem to society. Rumors had it that Hush had even killed his own brothers and then his mother, slicing and dicing them up to fill his hunger for meat.
Although they had not been any case of him eating any one within the dungeons, no one wanted to be that unlucky fellow. And thus, stayed away from him, allowing him to do as he wished.
Hadi would be doing his usual preaching and Hush will come over, interrupting their meetings and then he would beat up hadi before laughing as he took his leave.
They were those that sympathized with Hadi, but even in this place, the strong was respected and this continuous action had started to sway the hearts of his followers.
Hadi was not a fool. He was not good at combat, only having talents in public speaking and science.
However, certain skills came with sub-skills. For example, a carpenter would most likely be capable of appraising wood even though he was not a lumberjack.
The act of public speaking, blessed an individual with sensitivity to the human heart, and Hadi could see this. If he did not do anything about Hush, then he would lose his followers and be seen as only a mad man.
Thinking this far, he decided to act. And for the first time since he got to the dungeons, he attempted to contact the person sending him the letters.
He responded to the person, “I want to continue my research!”
To his surprise, he got feedback that he was going to get full support. This mearnt implements that he might need and all.

And so Hadi left preaching for a while. He would carve out mathematical formulas on the walls, as he traced the origin of the problem that he had faced during the test of the last experiment.
This took him time, a lot of time. During which he barely talked to his followers, and from the way he kept on carving out formulars on the walls, they were those that thought he had already ran mad.
After all, this place had that effect on people and everyone searched for their own way to cope with the darkness and the cold.
But Hadi was steadfast, and he worked hard. All the while, he was fueled by his own vision of a better society for him and his people.
He had promised himself that he was going to see the sun again, and he was going to get revenge on all of them that had cast him down in this hell pit.
“For one to achieve incredible things, he must first believe in his own dreams.” Those words, Hadi remembered that his father had once said them. Never had they carved out a meaning in his heart like they did now.
Finally, he was done with it. He had realized his mistake and, therefore, the reason for his younger sister’s death.
Instantly, Hadi fell on his knees, and tears fell from his eyes. Tears of joy.
By now, he had spent eight months in the dungeons. These were very painful months. But he had finally done it. He had created…
