A person materialized from the ground. It was a woman. She had green hair, yellow eyes, and was fairly beautiful.

However, she had on the white robes and crest of the Holy church.

This was none other than Cain. She was twin sister to Able who was governing the affairs of the church far off in the northern highlands and was also the person that had sent Knight Sheyi to prison.

“I have told you to inform me before you make your regular visits. Haven’t I?” Hadi asked with a frown.

However, Cain pretended not to have heard Hadi’s complains. “The holy church financed the mass production of your wonder drug, and you were supposed to deliver on uniting the beast kingdom…”

“Furry Kingdom!” Hadi immediately interrupted her as he turned about with a frown on his face. “We get really offended when you compare us to beasts.”

Cain did not care and continued as she intended. “You were supposed to deliver on uniting the BEAST kingdom six months ago, you have halted your expansion and that is not a part of the deal you signed with the Holy church.”

Hadi knew that she was intentionally placing emphasis on that word to piss him off. It worked but he had to hold in his anger. After all, the Holy church was one of the members of the round table. Offending a super power like that was a death request.

Also, they had been his benefactors since he had been in prison.

“I am aware of that. And I am working on it.” As he said this, he coughed a bit. he covered his mouth with a handkerchief. When he took a look at it, there was a subtle mixture of blood and green substance.

“It would seem like a prolonged use of the drug has started to get to you. maybe I should replace you with someone else.” Cain suggested with no apology in her tone.

“No! No!! please don’t do that. this is only temporary. I am already working on a cure for this.” Hadi immediately answered in a panic.

“Hmmm!” Cain raised a brow doubting Hadi’s words. “The beast men you supply us with as well as the drugs have dropped in the yearly quantity and quality. The church does not support you for you to fuck us back in the ass. We want Rhino-men and tiger-men, not rat and rabbit men.”

“I know, I know. I am working on it. I have already managed to reeling in Gerric, Jericho’s son to my side. As I speak to you, the Main kingdom are trying to infiltrate the Vandora kingdom to kidnap the new princess and grand child to King Richard.
